Pros: The store looks new, they recycle paint, and they try to be helpful. Cons: They have a limited inventory(they don’t carry building materials) and their customer service could be better. Employees shouldn’t have to help other customers if they are in the middle of helping a particular customer, particularly when there are other employees available! If you need a service done while you wait, don’t expect it to be done quickly!

Came in here looking for two succulent plants as Christmas gifts. I first visited Navlet’s Garden Center down the street, and their selection was horrible(granted it’s winter). At Orchard, I was assisted by an employee working in the gardening center(Jordan). He was extremely knowledge and helpful to explain various items regarding succulents(i.e. why my current plants may be dying, why it’s smart to select a larger pot for potting, using cactus-specific soil). He also had led me to the decorative rock selection to make the two plants look even more polished as gifts. After he helped me pick out colors for the two pots I wanted, he carefully potted both plants into the pots using the soil at the store(which I did not have to pay for), and the rocks I purchased. The two plants came out looking SO cute, my friends loved them. Best of all, the total purchase: 2 plants, 2 pots, and decorative rocks(with plenty left over for later use) came out to about $ 22. It was a really cute, somewhat DIY idea for a gift that came out to be about $ 10 a plant. Jordan was very helpful with excellent customer service. I’ll be returning to this location.

Not sure how long they have been in business, but it looked spanking brand new! Everything from the floors to the shelves had new written all over it. This place was well lit too! Inventory is great, but I’ve found items not competively priced. OSH seems to be that convenience store for hardware supplies. I guess in that sense, prices are justified. If you need an item and don’t feel like walking thru a warehouse, the format just makes sense.
