Jug Shop Liquors has more liquor offerigs but few prices posted. feel lucky? buy a lotto ticket. wary of liquor shops with no pricing. beware of posters who cite vast liquor inventory but never buy any. is this first hand experience or voyerism? drink: nestle latte mocha«skinny cow”(2.49) 8oz. natural ingredients –bland tasting, not worth repeating drips: –lots of average liquor offerings, pricing an issue… nothing extraordinary.

Jug shop is the other Liquor store on the block, the other one being National across the street. Both sell Lottery tickets, but Jug Shop has a much better selection of beer, wine, and hard alcohol, plus offers cigars and considerably more space and better snacks and service. Call me lazy for not crossing Contra Costa Boulevard more often.

Not bad. Service is fine and they offer the same assortment of goods, beverages as any other place. My only complaint is the SMELL. Yikes!!! It seriously stinks in there. It’s enough to put me off going back. It smells like litter box and onions. I’m not kidding. If I’m saying something, think of all the others who aren’t and how many other customers decide to shop elsewhere in more sanitary conditions.

The people that work here are on the phone all of the time and don’t even bother to stand up when making a sale. They don’t welcome their customers and they do not thank them for making a purchase. Very poor customer service here. You can buy candy, booze, and cigarettes anywhere do not go here and get unappreciated for giving them you business.

This place was really big. They actually had a great selection of snacks and I picked out a flavor of pringles I’d never before tried!(Jalapheno!!!) I really like the buffalo ones but haven’t seen them since this year’s Burning Man trip when someone left an open can in our camp. The Vodka we were asking about was behind the counter and the employee told us the price but it was about $ 5 more than what we paid at Cork N Bottle on Treat(before they stopped carrying it). CnB did tell us the price had gone up for them and that’s why they’re no longer selling it; maybe the same was true for this store. The same employee rang up my chips and was very pleasant.

Don’t even bother going to one of the other liquor stores in the area. I live right down the street from here and kept going to some of the other stores and didn’t even know what I was missing. I decided to go here instead one day and since then I keep coming back. They have a great selection of snacks, candy, drinks and smokes. What more could you ask for? Well they also have a tv in there… just in case you happen to be in line you can watch some tv.

Good standard liquor store with beer and booze and smokes and magazines and sodas and wine and snacks and ice and odd and ends. The Family that owns it is very friendly and helpful. They still have some porn, which is strange since the internet is basically free porn, but i guess its nice to have a source for paperback porn in case of emergencies.

Been going here for years and have changed owners a few times. Still a very decent shop with friendly service and very competitive pricing for smokes.

LOVETHISPLACE! I have never experienced the type of service offered at this liquor store at any other store like it ever. The owner is the nicest most friendly shop keeper, and all of the prices for everything are clearly posted. We have been loyal customers there for over a year now and we recently moved further away, however, we still make the trip(now past 2 other liquor stores) just to support someone who still values customer service. If you have the option I defiantly recommend this place for all your convenience store needs!
