Furniture Plus Warehouse

We were thrilled with Furniture Plus. Stephen had assured me over the phone that he would beat any price and that he could order anything we needed (we wanted Ashley furniture). He did indeed, beat other prices by a significant amount. Also, his delivery people are very very good, and very courteous and careful. The only downside is that the showroom is not huge. It is hard for me to choose from a catalog, so I simply went to big showrooms, selected my furniture, and then he ordered exactly what I wanted (3 rooms worth) for a far better price than I could have gotten elsewhere. He orders from the very same companies and warehouses that the big stores order from. I highly recommend Furniture Plus.

Not sure what happened with the other «reviewers» but we’ve had nothing but luck with these guys (knock on wood). We’ve bought several pieces from them and they always give us the lowest prices and low delivery/​set-​up fees. I never walk into a place with the intention of buying without researching prices first. They are the first place we go when we need something. We’ll be back!

Don’t waste your time if you want a decent piece of furniture. This place is really trashed (the floor was held together with duct tape — WTF?) and the furniture looks cheap. We were ignored during our very brief circuit around the place until we headed for the exit, at which point we were accosted by a very pushy salesman. No thanks!

Ordered a dining set here and brad was AMAZING he welcomed us right away. Explained he’d beat all internet pricing and offered me a discount for having to wait so long because they were so busy. Assured me anything we didn’t like once it arrived we could send back. Made me visit wonderful an I walked out with a huge smile. I piked up the table a week later which was great how fast it arrived. But one look at the chairs and we knew never to trust a catalog again. They were not stable not real wood and in comfortable. The finish looked faded and the seat felt like cardboard. We asked the «manager» who couldn’t have been more anti social and unwilling to help us. To please send the table back and we would rather take a larger nicer set on the floor (priced at $ 900 [said that’s the best price he would give us] priced at $ 750 in every other place) plus two paintings. He acted as if I had just asked him for the most inconvenient favor on the planet. Didnt look us in the eye, ignored us for twenty minutes and said we could not have the table we wanted because he ordered the other one for us and we should take it. I asked him for a refund and to order the table we liked but he then jacked up the price and corrected me by saying «ure not sending it back ok. U are not accepting what you asked us to order. It’s different» I’m not a furniture salesperson nor do I work there so obviously his policies and jargon are not my problem. I said «ok well whatever it’s called do it» an he responded «well that’s what it’s called alright. Give me your credit card» in terms of professionalism he could not have been worse. Manager my a**. They do carry Ashley and coaster and you might e able to get a good deal but if you do go try to ask for brad or bobby who are really great and very helpful. i mean WONDERFUL. Try not to deal with the manager unless you are going in and coming out with a certain purchase because that is the only way you will get any service from him. But if you have any issues with your purchase or do not care about money then you will be ok but he is an absolute nightmare might as well have been a hormonal teenager with an attitude problem. im not sure it wasnt. and I will never walk into the place again. i only have it one star because there is no option for –5

This store advertises «quality furniture at guaranteed low prices». Check other stores prices before you purchase from them as they don’t honor what they’re advertising. This company is not BBB accredited but has established a rating from the BBB. The Furniture Plus management would not respond to my complaint even through the BBB. Beware!

They have changed their name to Furniture Clearance Plus.
Typical «salesmen», who will say anything to make a sale, including badmouthing their competitors. I overheard the salesmen talking, and I heard one say that some of the brands they carry are the «Walmart» of furniture. They said their store was different because they will beat any competitors’ price, and have the fastest order time.
The couch I wanted to order wasn’t in stock in the color I wanted, so they had to order it. It took much longer to come in than I was told. When I called after it was supposed to come in, the guy said that it’s almost impossible to get a couch in that quickly. When the couch finally came in, I could see that it was damaged, so they reordered it. The next couch that came in was wrapped tight in thick plastic. I asked to inspect it before it was delivered to my home, but they said it would be easier to just deliver the couch, and then inspect it. When it was delivered, it was not like the one I saw in the store. Also, one of the delivery guys knocked over a lamp, and broke the shade.
Returning the couch was the worst part. At first, they didn’t want to take the couch back. After many phone calls, they finally agreed to take the couch back, but said they wouldn’t refund the delivery fees, and that they were going to charge me a restocking fee. I was never told about a restocking fee, and there was nothing about a restocking fee in my paperwork. They agreed to «wave» the restocking fee, but still said they wouldn’t refund my delivery fees (even though one of the delivery guys broke my lamp shade).
Oh, and they have an F from the BBB.
Apparently, Furniture Plus Warehouse is a fictitious business name! (As well as their other name, Furniture Clearance Plus, and Oak Warehouse)
