Playa Del Rey Florist

They delivered the roses on the right, and this photo was shot on the day one. All droopy and wilted. So, I called and told them how surprised I was to receive the flowers in such poor conditions. They then immediately brought the roses on the left. Very nice and fresh, which they should have brought in the first place. However, while the first bouquet had 12 roses, the replacement they brought had only 8. Here are my thoughts:
1. Bringing the wilted flowers was really bad (rating 1).
2. Immediately sending decent roses was good (rating 4).
3. Reducing the number of roses to 8 was a bit of an added insult (rating 2).
If the replacement had the same number of roses, then I would have given one more star, but for that, they get 2.33 (if you average the 1+4+2, it’s 2.33).

These folks are a class act. Just used them for our wedding and I couldn’t have better things to say. There was no stress… they gave great suggestions and the final product was beyond impressive.

I ordered in advance for a Mother’s Day delivery ! I ordered the flower box fun and they were beauty, expensive but then again it was Mother’s Day and delivery is always over priced but never the less extremely happy.

1 star is way too much to give this business.
If you want POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE where you want to be YELLED AT AND TALKED OVER, then this is the place to go. There was apparently a confusion about my order, where the representative even confirmed the address and then put me on hold. I called back since I had to confirm the non-​receipt of the delivery and a gentleman who’s name is LANCE (he owns the place I was told) answered and said he had no idea what I was talking about. I was trying to explain the situation, and he seemed pretty short like he had to no time to hear it and that the order wasn’t placed there. How funny I just spoke to someone before who confirmed the delivery address to me… And he has the audacity to be yelling over the phone (which he probably didn’t realize he was yelling), in which I didn’t appreciate so I called him on it and said he should know better than to yell at customers as a business owner.
Don’t order from this place. But if you want to be talked down to, please feel free. Flowers here were overpriced and wilted within a couple days anyway, what a waste of money spent here.

I called in to order a wreath for a memorial service. I was worried that it would look tacky or cheap since we were just talking through it over the phone, rather than looking at samples together. So I talked about how I wanted it to look monochrome and modern. Playa Del Rey florist knew exactly what I meant. They ran through different options with me, and then worked to create something within my budget. The wreath was perfect — it looked right out of Pinterest. It completely exceeded our expectations. Delivery was perfect. Five stars!

Ordered a bouquet delivered for my wife. It got there within 3 hours. They were fresh and beautiful. Will keep this place in mind for future deliveries in the area.

Great value, amazing service. Ordered online but received a follow up call to make sure the details of order were correct which ended up saving the day. Don’t go out of my way much to give kudos to BIZ but just had to here.

I chose PDR florist to send my daughter flowers for her 27^th birthday. She is as particular as I am, so I spent quite awhile researching reviews before deciding on a florist. It was well worth it. I spoke to Jeffrey. It was clear that he not only knew what he was doing but cared as well. This is hard to find in today’s business world.
He put together a beautiful arrangement. What no florist has done, and I’m 54 and have sent a lot of flowers, was to send me a picture of the arrangement before delivering it. The arrangement was spectacular. I was started to text him back as to how much I liked the flowers but was interrupted by a phone call. It was Jeff asking if the arrangement was satisfactory. I couldn’t believe it! I have three children and send flowers all the time. Because so many florists rip people off, we always send a picture to the person sending the flowers to

2. Make sure that the flowers delivered were similar to the flowers purchased.
This type of service is rare anywhere. I have my Playa de Rey florist for life. I would trust this florist with any and all events! BUY FROM THEM. you won’t regret it.

Owners Jeff and Lance make amazing arrangements! A friend of mine who is a local requested a lei for a funeral. The service was top notch, the quality was amazing. She came back in to share the rosary beads which she made from the orchids in the lei.
The personal and professional service of the team meant the world to my friend. When she came back in, they even offered her some red velvet cake! It’s the little things that mean so much that can make lasting impressions.

I came here for my wedding bouquet and Lance personally helped me pick out the flowers I wanted while offered his professional boutique. They came out not only on time, but fresh and beautiful.
When my now-​husband went to pick it up, Lance even lended us this beautiful glass vase so we can transport the bouquet in the car. Seriously I don’t see many businesses putting their customers concerns first like this place anymore.
Their cat rascal is super chill and likes to play cashier by the register.

I recently had surgery and a family member from out of town chose to send me flowers from Playa Del Rey Florist.
When they first delivered the flowers my mom didn’t recognize the number and so she didn’t pick up, but when she listened to the message it turned out to be the flower delivery! We called back the next morning to arrange another delivery of them.
USUALLY WHEN DEALING WITH OTHER FLORISTS AND DELIVERY I have such a big problem. If you miss a delivery, the flowers look sad and old and the people are usually uncooperative.
WHEN DEALING WITH PLAYA DEL REY FLORIST, we had the easiest time! It took all but a few minutes on the phone with them to get them to deliver them to our house. It was probably the easiest second delivery of flowers I have ever experienced! They came in about an hour after we called.
The flowers were beautiful and fresh. They’re still looking great days after being delivered. They are vibrant and made me feel a ton better after surgery!
For beautiful flowers with easy delivery and great customer service, I’d recommend Playa Del Rey Florist for sure! Especially good if you are from out of town and delivering a surprise to someone in the area since they have easy second delivery.

For my mom’s bday I called FTD and placed an order, unfortunately it was a disaster. Fortunately I got the name of the florist and the number the lady (sorry I forgot her name) saved me! She managed to give me the right info as well as estimate delivery time. In the end my mom received her flowers, and I ended up getting great costumer service.
It was great to deal with the pleasant, and lovely attendant, and what’s best, the flower arrangement was gorgeous. FTD never again. Playa del Rey Florist will be my to go florist.
