The prices are great, however I bought bananas, and they are green, and hard. I have gotten green bananas at other stores and never had this problem. My advice would be buy your produce elsewhere.

Small supermarket carrying many dry goods/non perishable items, more so than fresh produce, but they have the cheapest price around. In terms of dairy products, gallon of milk is about 30 cents cheaper than Wal Mart to give you an idea. Almost everything is their own store brand, packaging and name look just like the real thing so you can get fooled. Great place to stock up on some basics, but does not replace a full grocery store experience.

I am so glad I skipped the Walmart on my last trip to Plattsburgh. My friend told me about Aldi and it is very easy to miss, off a secluded street, not on Cornelia Street itself. It is a no frills type of place, quarters in the shopping cart, no bags, so you have to use the boxes or bring your own. At first, I was not too sure, everything they carried looked like generic No Name stuff, but at really good prices. We filled 2 shopping carts and the total came to about 55 Dollars each!!! Once I tried some of the stuff, I was sold on this Chain, the cheeses especially were great. The best part is the store is not too big or busy(when I went), so it was not an exhausting ordeal
