Well, we citizens of the greater Platte City area didn’t frequent this establishment enough and another place to dine on other than fast«food» no longer is available to us. OITOFBUSINESS

Platte city location appears to have closed. Did not last long enough in Platte City to try it out.

Chaz is the best place to eat in Platte City! The meals are always tasty and the service is great. Amy is the best bartender in Platte City. Go there you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

I had my reservations but the fettuccine alfredo was delicious! They didn’t have the best drink specials around but a good variety of mixed drinks. Waitress April provided the BEST service!

Maybe at 30 I would have been flattered to be asked for ID when ordering an adult beverage, but as a fully ripened senior citizen, I was not amused. Had I left my purse at home, as I usually do when dining at a casual restaurant with my spouse, I would not have been served an alcoholic drink. Ridiculous! After giving our food order, the waitress arrived with a complimentary basket of bread. The bread was good and moist, but I thought it strange to be serving sweet quick breads, one with chocolate chips, before dinner. I would have set my piece aside for later, but there was no small plate on the table to allow me to do so. Our salads arrived promptly. They were fresh and crisp, but just the same old dinner salad. I ordered the sirloin steak medium rare. The steak was over cooked, very thin, and very salty. The baked sweet potato was nice and the dinner roll was warm, but tough like it had been warmed in the microwave. My husband ordered the blackened salmon which was also on the salty side. He summed it up by saying it was OK. We will not be rushing back to Chaz 325 anytime soon. Oh, if you do dine there, remember to keep the one and only fork you will have for your salad, entrée, and I bet the dessert too.

Its my understanding they have only been open about 3 weeks when I had a weeknight dinner about 5 pm on a Wednesday. There was one couple eating when we arrived. We got our beers and checked out the menu, which was interesting. They have quite a bit to choose from– sandwiches, pasta dishes, salads(incl salmon), chicken, steak and dessert. The specials that night were 2 pc fried chicken with mashers and green beans for $ 11.99. Another was Cream of Potato Soup with Bacon and Ham for $ 9.99. We ordered an appetizer of the Chicken Quesadillas, $ 7.99 and their ‘Texas’ size tenderloin sandwich with fries for $ 8.99. We told our friendly waitress we wanted to split the tenderloin, and ordered an additional side order of fries. The order came all at once. The appetizer was thin, not much filling and you couldn’t define much chicken, I would not order this again. The sandwich plate came as 1 serving. No extra plate or 2nd side of fries. Often when I’ve split a tenderloin at other establishments, they provide an extra bun,(which I will gladly pay for but I’m never charged), this tenderloin wasn’t big enough for 2 buns. The server wasn’t our waitress so I told him we were splitting and asked for the additional side of fries and a plate. He returned quickly but set a bowl of fries in front of me with a dry bun on top and walked away. We didn’t have ketchup for the fries or water. I caught him on the fly and asked for mayo and ketchup, he nodded but never returned. He wasn’t very personable. ‘Does everything look okay?’ or ‘can I get you anything else?’ goes a long way. Our friendly waitress returned bringing Quesadillas, which had already been served so I just asked for ketchup for the fries at that time. I felt if I asked for water or mayo it would be overwhelming and I felt troublesome for ordering the meal that way. A 3rd server came halfway through the meal with a pitcher of water and saw we received no water and got us taken care of. The tenderloin sandwich was lukewarm and I wouldn’t split it in the future, but I would try it again. You won’t be taking half of it home. It tasted good and steak fries were just right. Going to give this another try. They have a great location on the square across from the courthouse with curbside parking, easy access. Booths are roomy and they have tables as well. The old bar is great if you just want to stop in for a drink. This was a $ 30 meal for 2 incl taxes and tip
