Tijuana Flats

This is my pregnancy craving… Yes the whole restaurant. I love the black bean burrito, steak salad and sweet iced tea. The staff and managers are amazing. If you haven’t tried them you must!!! I try all the hot sauces too, even if I regret it later.

The food is tasty! The variety oh hot sauces impressive. The best thing: the service!!! Jazzy welcomed us warmly; she was so pleasant, friendly and proud that we thought she might be an owner! She was just a true pleasure. Recommend checking it out!

The customer service is great, but the value is lacking. I have been here a couple of times and it cost me $ 15 to get a full stomach. Chipotle is a much better choice.

This is my second time at a Tijuana flats and the service That I received was amazing! She was so helpful with my order because I didn’t know what I wanted but she knew everything on the menu and knew exactly what I wanted by telling her what I liked. Also she spoiled us by refilling our drinks, keeping our table clean at all times and she even took our to go order at the table for us so we didn’t have to get up. She definitely went above and beyond. Very sweet and helpful. I will definitely attend this location again just because of my experience with her. Thank you Carrina!!!

I was planning on ordering some catering from the Tijuana Flats in Cooper City for a holiday party I was having when a friend told me about the one in Plantation. Since it was closer to my house I called on the Monday before my party and placed my order for a 5:00pm pickup. My daughter and I arrive a few minutes after 5:00 and I tell the guy at the counter I’m picking up a catering order. Blank stare. He ask if I meant placing an order. I say no. Panicked look from both of us. Turns out whoever took my order forgot to leave it for the manager on duty that day so they had no knowledge of any catering order being picked up.
I have 20 people showing up at my house in less than an hour, one more stop to make before heading home and no food. I’m panicking a little at this point. Turns out the guy I’m talking to is the manager Eric. He assures me that he can have my order ready in 20 minutes, and having no other choice at this point, I say go for it.
Eric kept his word and had everything I had ordered packed and ready to go in 20 minutes. He threw in a few extras and gave me a discount for the mix up. Even though it made the beginning of the party a little hectic since I arrived at my house minutes before the first guest showed up, I still had food to serve. Big thank you to Eric Stiles for making it all work out.

Food is very good. The atmosphere is very vibrant and lively. I come here about twice a week and get the chimichanga and I’m never disappointed. The staff is very friendly and always checking up on you. Jazzy is awesome! She’s always helping us and checking up on us.

If you’re going to eat, eat in. I learned my lesson on takeout from this place. Great food served there. Takeout is horrible. Tacos with extremely little filling. Very few chips when compared to eating in. I counted 16 chips with the meal and less than a teaspoon of chicken in the tacos. Taco Bell has more filling. Again, excellent when there. Do not do takeout.

There’s something about Tijuana Flats I just love. This was my first time at this location and my experience was great. It was clean, all the employees were super friendly, and the food came out quick. I went with a carnitas chimichanga which I enjoyed. The carnitas weren’t particularly flavorful but it was still a good meal overall. There was a bit too much tortilla for the amount of meat, I assume getting a megajuana would fix this but I can’t even finish a normal one myself. My mother got a chicken tostada and enjoy it, it was 2 large tostadas which came cut up in 8 pieces. We also had the Tijuana trio which is always great, the guac tasted fresh the quesso was creamy as usual.

Great staff… Food is much better at this location than at other stores. Glad to have this new location near our home.

I’ve been a long time fan of tijuana flats. I was excited to try the newest location near my fav yogurt store. The food was fantastic. The restaurant was bustling with customers. A busy restaurant to me always signifies that the food will be fresh.
The staff is well trained and attentive.

A must go to place where quick food can also be fresh, flavorful and healthy

I feel like a trip isn’t a good trip until you’ve experienced a crazy good restaurant and for my time in the Fort Lauderdale area, Tijuana Flats was this restaurant!
So I love Mexican food, and I can be picky when it comes to fast-​casual Mexican restaurants. Luckily this place was just what I was looking for! The beans are vegetarian, lard free, which is always a good start for me. Also they had veggie options! A few different things. I decided pretty quickly on the veggie burrito, but I wanted to change it up so I got a wheat burrito and had it made «wet» with red sauce. Super glad I did that because wow it was absolutely delicious! Only complaint was the hunks of jalapeño in there. I was expecting them to be cut in little tiny pieces and my mouth was on fire for a bit haha. But otherwise the flavor was delicious. I also loved the hot sauce bar. My favorite was the sweet chile one because I’m a tad wimpy and don’t like super spicy. I did try one of the medium ones and I thought it wasn’t too bad. Also I got a side of guac which is always an excellent choice.
Prices were as expected, not terrible, especially for such huge portions. Also the atmosphere was fun, I liked the colorful lights and décor. Would be a fun place to come for a later dinner when you can see all the lights. People were nice too. Totally recommend, hope I’m able to return or they build some in Arizona!

I go here for the food but I mostly go because of the people. They are so genuinely nice and make me feel special as soon as I walk in. They make me a priority and always make sure that I’ve been helped. They also repeat the order back to you once you get it so that you can correct it right away, rather than find it and have to change it during your meal. The sauces are pretty great as well and they are reasonably priced.

Lived all the sauces and their creative names… Couldn’t help but taking pictures of their funny names! I was cautious at first but got to try the most risky ones… Lol the chicken salad with the citrus vinaigrette was delicious! I highly recommend it!

Second time that I tried this place. Both were a great experience. I have gotten the same girl twice at the register, extremely specific and helpful with my food allergies. Thank you for Great service little Spanish girl! Will be back for sure!!!

I love it when businesses deliver amazing customer service and this is one of those businesses. They have not only exceeded my expectations, but that of my 12 year old daughter as well.
As usual with any Tijuana Flats location, they greet you as soon as you enter the doors. No different here. And for the most part, my experiences at all locations have been very pleasant. However, this particular location somehow delivers that «extra touch» with their attentiveness to customers AFTER they have ordered. They consistently checked on us making sure we had everything we need and went the «extra mile» with giving us a free drink because we forgot to order one and extra sauces (queso & guac), as well as extra chips and fresh queso/​salsa/​guac to take with us after dining in. I’m sure this might be the normal policy, but nevertheless it was much appreciated. The «little things» always go a long way.
I believe every employee there and the manager on duty each individually checked on us at least once while dining there.
This will definitely be a preferred location to dine at among all the other locations.

This location just opened up last week.
I stopped by and ordered some take out over the weekend. I ordered steak flautas and requested black beans to be added inside the flautas. They were super nice and accommodated my request.
I waited about 10 minutes for my order. In the meantime, I filled up some little take out sauce containers with several of their sauces to try with my food. I also saw they had several specials up on the wall for specific days, which seem like pretty good deals such as $ 5.49 for 2 tacos and a drink on Tuesdays
My food order was called and I took it home to eat. The flautas come with queso, guacamole, chopped tomatoes, and lettuce. The flautas themselves were really good and the mix of black beans with the steak made it even better. Their guac was fresh and delicious and a perfect compliment to my flautas. The only thing missing was sour cream, which I thought came with the order, but maybe I needed to request it.
I will definitely be back to check out their specials!
