Wow… just really awful. Gave it a chance but doesn’t really even come close to anything really Thai. Poor execution on all 4 dishes. Save your money and time.

Food is alright, not the best time Plantation for sure. I ordered Pad See Ew and it was made with the wrong type of noodle. Very disappointed, most of food I’ve ordered from here is very bland.

I hate to see other people think this is thai food This is not thai food this is like a Chinese take out I Ordered red thai curry with shrimp and thai chicken wings and thai iced tea And a side of rice and salad The curry was toooo watery and had big chunks of vegetables and barley had shrimp in it and the shrimp was not the fresh ones they were the precooked ones and the chicken wings are so dry and just had bbq sauce on it The salad a weird taste in it like raw meat and the tea wasn’t a lot in the cup with big chunks of ice and the white rice was a little bit i had to cook more at home I would never come to this restaurant again this is not thai food bad food and bad service.

From the beginning to end the waitress was attentive and courteous! I tried their sushi which was delicious and affordable. The chicken steam dumplings were a great starter. The glass of wine was 3.50. And the food came with unlimited soup and salad. My boyfriend had the stir fried chicken which was amazing served with vegetables and brown rice. Oh and the sushi was cooked with brown rice. No extra charge for spicy mayo or eel sauce like in other places. Will be going back.

No flavor to their food. One of the worst Thai ever had. Learned me lesson, won’t be going back.

Absolutely terrible. Got the pad thai and the shrimp smelled like feet. The pad thai had no flavor at all. I threw it out.

Unfortunately this is the worst Thai food I ever ate. I have eaten Thai all over South Florida, as well as most major cities. Thin tasteless sauces, no potatoes in the masaman, no Thai vegetables in the mixed vegetables, and the brown rice was mushy like gruel. Stay away. Gave it one star because the one visible employee was working really hard to please everyone.

Great food, service is hit and miss. Nothing to do with the number of people in the restaurant. Try the whole fish dishes, as try aw really amazing. Their plum wine is a basic plum wine, but sweet. I would suggest they give 2 options for the plum wine and get both a sweet and dry sake.

First and foremost, the lady at the front was very sweet. That’s about it. That’s really the only nice thing I have to say about this place. So let’s get to the bulk of the review. This place is awful, it’s a sorry excuse for what some would consider Thai food. This is more like«thai?» food. We ordered the Panang curry, Red curry, Pad Thai, and Tom Kha. The panang curry was overly sweet with clumps of curry paste. Let’s face it, these guys are revolutionaries, clumpy soup? Sign me up! No, but seriously this is awful. Until this evening, I didn’t know Panang curry consisted of clumpy curry paste and green peppers. The Red curry was incredibly sweet, didn’t taste like coconut milk, it tasted like maple syrup. The rice was overcooked, which is a shame but it should’ve been a foreshadowing of the meal to come. The pad thai had decent flavor but the noodles were overdone. Tom Kha had good flavor. Let’s talk about the salad dressing for a second. What… the??? I’m not sure how to even describe what this abomination of a sauce tasted like. I can only assume/hope that it was supposed to be ginger dressing. The saving grace of this review was my girlfriends sympathy for the sweet lady at the front desk, but honestly I would’ve rated it 1 star. Which brings me to the most important part of this review. I’m not sure why this place got great reviews but the meal we had tonight certainly didn’t warrant anything above 2 stars. Honestly, it’s not even about bashing the restaurant at this point, this is seriously offensive for an establishment to deliver such a terrible quality meal. How is this permissible when there are so many other restaurants around. We chose this place because of the current reviews, what a joke that turned out to be. I hope for your sake this was an isolated incident, but I will not be eating here again. That being said, try at your own risk I suppose. But the meal that was in front of us this evening may have been cooked by someone who’s never cooked in their life. Sorry chef, you dropped the ball.

When I lived over this way years and years ago, I walked here for dinner or dropped by for lunch almost every week. I love this little family welcoming Thai restaurant. So glad to see them still open in this quiet Plantation neighborhood. They have traditional Thai dishes as well as a sushi menu with great lunch special pricing. The lady helping me today said they still have the salad soup bar at lunch and during dinner. I love that peanut salad dressing, she packed me salad with my to go lunch special. Solid Thai cuisine, good value for lunch and dinner. Excellent customer service.

This is the best Thai restaurant I have found yet. Our looks like nothing from outside(in fact a few postpone thought it was the Chinese restaurant next door) but don’t let that fool you. The food is spectacular. I’ve gone a few times, lunch and dinner, and can say that the food is extremely consistent. The meal starts at your own pace as every meal comes with soup or salad bar. I’m not a huge fan of the soups but the salad with ginger dressing is out of this world! I’m a huge fan of Thai curry so I usually get the Massaman. Succulent, savory, creamy –all of the key components in a prefect Thai curry. Its your choice of meat with bell pepper, potatoes, onions, and cashews. Not too spicy, but you can always get them to up the heat. My co-worker had the pad Thai the other day and also said it was one of the best he has had. I don’t think you can really go wrong.

I have come here for dinner a few times. I love the red curry! I recommend the shrimp or chicken. Nice soup on the salad bar too. Good portions sizes, I always have left overs.

Excellent little Thai place right in Plantation. Great fast and extremely friendly service. The curry was great and there is a soup and salad bar that comes with the entrees! I will definitely come here for Thai when in South Florida. Oh yeah it was also only $ 21 for two people to eat lunch with drinks. Great deal!

I come to this restaurant for lunch and dinner. They have an awesome salad and soup bar with excellent homemade ginger dressing. The ingredients are always fresh and cooked perfectly. The menu options are sufficient to keep your choices exciting if you like trying new dishes. The owner/waitress is very pleasant and always in a great mood. My family and work friends love this place and so do I.

my standards are pretty high as far as food is concerned… The green curry was a bit bland. Tasted watered down… And they didn’t ask how spicy I wanted my food… I would’ve liked it a tad spicier… The broccoli and shrimp wasn’t bad… Tasted fresh but again a bit bland and watered down tasting… However if you dine in… There were some perks… All u can eat soup and salad… Egg drop that day was ok. A bit too thick and salty for me and there was a soup with cabbage in it that was pretty tasty… Good broth in that soup… And it came with a small egg roll… Nice little extras… Just wish the food was more flavorful… Service was good and they weren’t very busy… Overall not bad… Edible…

Happy to give Manee Thai a 5-star review! You would never it know it from the outside, being located in a pretty shabby strip mall, but food and service is super. I met my parents for lunch here, and walking in, the restaurant is small, only having about a dozen tables. It doesn’t offer so much in terms of décor, but everything is super clean… and let’s face it, that is kind of an anomaly. There was only one waitress(owner maybe?) working the place, but she was fast and so sweet and everything was brought out really quickly. Most of the lunch specials come with soup of the day and salad, both of which you serve yourself from a small station at the front of the restaurant. I was not expecting this and was at first a little wishy washy since I am not one who loves a buffet type setting(for sanitary reasons), but everything was really clean and sanitary — both the salad and soup are kept covered and the soup was piping hot and the salad was nice and fresh. Both were delicious! I ordered Pad Woon Sen which is clear noodles with egg, bean sprouts, broccoli, green beans, corn, etc. So delicious. My mom ordered Pad Se Ew which I tasted and also loved. Dad got Pad Thai(so unoriginal, dad) which I opted not to try but he said he really enjoyed. Total for 3 of us came to 21 and change which you really can’t beat. Manee Thai is probably one of my favorite Thai places I’ve been to in the area and plan to put it into permanent rotation!

Eh, under impressed — no green tea & bland tom kha kai led into into a rather lackluster attempt at what was scheduled to be my chicken massaman curry dish… c’mon guys, pick it up… can’t believe I had to wash this down with blank tea Lights were a bit bright in the dining room, maybe to highlight the waitress — she was cool, a rather pleasant woman

I know this place doesn’t look like much, but you’d be surprise at what you’ll find if you give it a try. My boyfriend and I walked in on a Tuesday night and were greeted by the sweetest lady. She was the only one at the front of the house, but then again, there was no one else in the restaurant. The décor was so-so and there was a television in a corner playing your usual prime time shows. We were seated and were given two sets of menus: one Thai and one sushi. I honestly don’t know what the deal is here in South Florida with combining Thai and sushi cuisine together in a single establishment. We skimmed through both menus and decided we should just order from the Thai menu. Drinks: Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee. The tea was your typical Thai iced tea. Not too creamy and just a little on the sweeter side. The Thai iced coffee reminded me of these little coffee candies I would always get as a kid. And I definitely think it packed a lot of caffeine in it! Definitely order that if you’re loping for a pick-me-up or just want to avoid food coma after your meal. Appetizer: Nam Sod. This had ground chicken, lettuce, carrots, ginger, cilantro, lime juice, and peanuts. The combination of the flavors worked really well together. It was fresh, clean, and tasty. There was a ton of ginger slivers so the dish was a little spicer than expected, but it does a great job cleansing your palate to prepare you for your main course. We also had access to their«salad bar.» Honestly, I would say to get rid of this supposed«salad bar» altogether because it’s just two soups and a tray of mixed ice burg salad that you can pick from. I’d rather have my choice of the two soups or a salad served to me rather than having to walk over to a «salad bar» with so little selection. Entrees: Chicken Pad Prig Khing(level 3⁄5 spicy) and Duck Pananag Curry(level 3⁄5 spicy). The chicken dish was labeled as a curry, but with no coconut milk. I don’t think I’ve tried something like that before so it was a new experience. The sauce was sweet and smokey, and you can taste the curry flavor it in. The chicken was slightly overcooked, but I can see how that can easily happen since the chicken was sliced so thinly. The green beans were delicious in the dish though. As for the duck, you know me. I always have to try out a restaurant’s duck curry. And South Florida has yet to fail to give me crispy duck curry instead of roasted duck curry. I mean, don’t get me wrong. I enjoy deep fried goodness just as much as the next person, but I do miss my roasted duck. But anyway, that doesn’t mean the dish wasn’t good. In fact, it was delicious. The duck was cooked nicely, you get some crispier pieces(which I like) and you get some juicier and meatier pieces(like what my boyfriend likes). The Panang curry is thicker than your regular curry, and it provides a nice medium for the duck to just stew in. Lots of fresh veggies in the dish to offset the deep fried goodness of the duck. Honestly, I don’t know about their spicy levels. Take the grading with a grain of salt because the dishes tasted very mild to me. I generally like a lot of heat with my food, but decided not to get a 4 or 5 because I wanted to really to try to taste the flavors of the dishes. I kind of regret not going a little spicier though. But that’s for next time! We didn’t order any dessert this time around. We were way too full from all the other food we ordered. Servings here are on the bigger side. We had to take home a little bit of both entrees because we were too stuffed to finish them off. Overall, the service we received here was great. Our server/hostess was very attentive. The food came out in a timely manner. And the food here was actually good. They have lunch specials here too, so I guess I’ll have to try to come back during lunch(not that I’m complaining, lol!).

Mmmm Thai food! One of my favorite cuisines. This place is a small hole in the wall so you can expect that it would be good! And in truth, the food wasn’t bad at all! Nothing compared to California though lol Pros: not busy(at 7 on a Friday) –polite –attentive service –salad and soup bar –cheap Thai tea!(1.50 I think) –extensive authentic Thai menu. Cons: the soup wasn’t very appetizing and was just overcooked cabbage and carrots –you have to add $ 1 for meat in pad Thai –Thai tea was too sweet –waitress didn’t ask for spiciness levels(totes needed at a Thai restaurant considering their rep for spicy foods), and when I asked for the spiciness level of hot, they didn’t even put any spice in! I had the pad Thai with chicken and that was spot on in terms of flavor and texture. I would like to note though that they do not serve the pad Thai with common sides(lime, sugar and chili, red cabbage, carrots, and TOFU — WHODOESNTADDTOFUTOPADTHAI??). Also not sure if this is relevant but WHYWASTHERESUSHIATTHISRESTAURANT. Like why is therejapanese food at a Thai restaurant? Florida blows my mind
