I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce combination and it wasn’t too bad until after. The shrimp clearly wasn’t cooked or was bad and I got food poisoning from it! Puked and shit my brains out! Stay far far away from here!

Just passed by and tried this Chinese restaurant, the food was so good and the staff are very friendly. We ordered their popular dishes such as fried lobster with ginger and u spring onions, sweet sour pork chop, Salt and pepper squid, fish tofu hotpot, soy flavor chow mein, all so delicious. I’ll definitely be back and try other food.

One hour and thirty minutes for delivery. Driver couldn’t care less. The food obviously was cold and mushy by then. I might be able to forgive that if it tasted decent, but it didn’t. Chicken was bland and the sauce was mostly water. Fried rice tasted like old oil. The«boneless ribs» are just sliced pork that have been microwaved and slathered in something that barely resembles Asian bbq sauce. Don’t bother with this place, there are far better ones out there.

My mom, brother and I have been eating at Jade Garden for YEARS. They consistently have DELICIOUS food! My mom loves their Char-Su-Ding, their pork ribs and their pork fried rice! I love their honey garlic wings and my brother loves everything else. OY is always very friendly and has been very kind to my mom who has cancer, from the first time my mom ate there. Everyone else is also very kind and helpful. Eating inside is very enjoyable and when they prepare take-out for us, they never forget to include all the condiments and fortune cookies and sauces. We’ll be back!

Let’s say if I could give it no stars, I would because even one star is to much. It was the worst I’ve ever had. There were four of us… one had the garlic chicken, another the orange chicken, and the chicken and broccoli… can’t remember what the fourth one had. The broccoli was more yellow than green and was horrible. We all took one bite of the chicken and out of the four of us, that was the last bite we took… the fourth person ate a couple of pieces and then gave up. The egg rolls were burnt and didn’t even look appealing. The soup was fair, yet again, none of us finished it. Even the rice was sticky. About the only thing we could eat was the fortune cookie and it wasn’t all that. After we ate dinner there, we went to the Boston Market up the street and it was much better!!! Never again will I set foot anywhere near the Jade Garden.

So, I’m from New York. Since I moved down here a few years ago I’ve had to get used to the fact that FL Chinese food isn’t nearly as good as the food up north. I’ve been eating here for a few years, and when I first started the food was great, flavorful, and about as close to NY Chinese that I could fine. My favorite order was pork fried rice and spicy chicken delight. The rice was flavorful, firm, and had all sorts of leaks and vegetables in it. The chicken used to be flavorful, and very good overall. I’ve noticed the quality of the food go downhill recently, but last night was the last straw. The rice was almost mushy and it tasted like it might as well have been plain. In an entire order of chicken delight, there were only five small pieces of chicken and the rest was vegetable STALKS, and nothing more. Also, the container was about half as full as usual. I’ll be ordering elsewhere from now on. It’s a shame because this place used to have great food. They must have a new chef or management or something.

Not so bad since we are used to Chinese food in ny, pretty good flavor for being in this area !

Years ago, this was a very good Chinese restaurant. We have been here twice lately, experiencing very mediocre bland goopy Chinese food. The worst part was that both times, the wife and I fought over bathroom time after dinner here. That cannot be a good sign. Looking elsewhere

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for about 5 years now. A solid place for good food but could use a remodel to update dining room. More of a hole in the wall local place that serves up good food at a good price.

Some of the worst Chinese we’ve ever had! I ordered sesame chicken but pretty sure it was sweet and sour chicken since there were pineapples in it and no sesame seeds. My husband had pork egg foo young and said it was tasteless which is probably a good thing since the egg roll tasted like dog food. I really wonder if it changed ownership since other reviewers said its so good.

Place needs a remodel… It’s ok. Food is fair. It used to be much better. I will not be returning. Silverware had crust on it.

If there was a zero star I would choose it. Terrible food-the Peking Duck made me sick for 2 days. The skin was like biting into a bone-and the meat was fatty. It was horrible. The service was also bad. No water refills and they seated us in a booth next to a loud family with a kid watching a video on full blast. In an empty restaurant. Really, it couldn’t have been worse. Terrible food. And it was our anniversary. We spent it with stomach aches!

Ordered fried fish with tofu from here and it was salty. The dish itself had the potential to be really good as they’re using better quality ingredients than I originally thought. The fish tasted sweet & fresh, the tofu were really tasty, they have some king mushroom slices which were tasty. However, all these good ingredients were drowned in a pool of salty sauce. I had my food delivered and they didn’t list out all the items, tax, delivery fee, etc. By the time I got my bill, I wasn’t sure if tip was already included since the bill was higher than I anticipated but the driver insisted tip was not included but couldn’t explain why the bill was high!!!

eehhhhhh there’s better Chinese places in Plantation. This place has been here forever and sadly their food has taken a turn for the worst. This is evident in the last couple of reviews. THANKGOD I didn’t see any roaches! The motif definitely needs an update as well. I went with Moms last Saturday, they don’t have any lunch specials during the weekend, so a meal/soup/egg roll and rice is at least $ 12. My mom got the shrimp and lobster sauce and she could barely eat it because it was so fishy. I got the honey GARLIC chicken that came with not a spec of garlic. It was fried, which was fine but each piece of chicken was covered in breading. Like if you took the breading off the chicken was half of it’s original size. The chicken was of good quality but between the breading and the honey I should’ve just ordered fried dough. Our waitress was very nice and that’s the only saving grace. I won’t be heading back anytime soon, that’s for sure.

I have been to Jade Garden several times and the food has been tastey. Unfortunately this last visit might indeed be my last. I went at lunchtime on a Saturday expecting it to be busy. There was one other customer. I ordered my food to-go which was to be ready in 10 minutes. When I returned 15 minutes later the food was not ready; I waited another 5 minutes. Finally when I sat down to enjoy my lunch, I opened the brown paper bag to find a baby ROACH crawling inside the bag. What a waste of $ 11.61(because they only offer the lunch pricing Mon-Fri).

Abysmal service undermines very good food. Found out by accident that there is a separate menu for the authentic chinese food. Ordered dumplings, Young chow fried rice and Sizzling Chicken Hot Pot. All was very good but took way too long to arrive. As did the check. Can’t recommend this place for that reason.

Ordered two dishes from this place, and had to toss them out after the first bite. The general tso, and orange chicken sauce where disgusting, and the chicken was not even a high enough quality to serve to my dog. Total waste of $ 30, call another place!

Ordered food from here, but when the delivery guy walked into my gate & to the 2nd door, my dog barked at him as he walked closer. As I go to open my door to pay I see the delivery guy kick my dog twice(side & face), like KICKEDHIM. He told me «I hate dogs». In shock & angry, I suggested he maybe not deliver food for a living. If you hate dogs, you shouldn’t deliver foods when so many families own dogs, maybe work inside the resturant instead. When I called the resturant to complain they refused to give me the delivery guys name & basically blew me off. All I wanted was for them to accept what happened, apology & to say they wouldn’t send THAT delivery guy to my house again. Instead they blew me off completely & were completely disrespectful. So I had to call & report it to the Police instead. Thankfully my dog is ok, just a little on edge like anyone who just got kicked would be, but i have to report it, if this driver kicks another dog and breaks the dogs rib or something worse, I’d feel horrible. There are many way to react to a barking dog, violently kicking them is not one. They have lost my business I hope they lose yours too.

Wanna know my foodie weakness? Okay, so hate me, but I’m infatuated with the Eggplant with Yu Hsing sauce at Jade Garden. It might be the MSG calling my name but I can’t get enough of that stuff. Speaking of MSG, they can direct you to dishes without it. It’s not like they necessarily add it but it’s in some of the prepackaged sauces I think. I’m not sure I want to know as it might come between me and my eggplant! The cool thing is they are really quick. Another reason for the weakness! Oh, and one meal lasts me 3… woohoo!!!
