Overall great service and food. I come here 2 – 3 times a week for lunch as it’s only walking distance from work, and the staff knows me by name and knows what I like to eat.

Went to the firehouse Subs today and order three 12″ salami sandwiches. We got back to the hotel and my kids asked where’s the meat, only 4 to 6 slices of salami per sandwich and we paid $ 8.33 a sandwich, what a ripoff!

This is a great place for lunch during the work day. Super quick and delicious sandwiches. I never eat hot subs, but they steam the meat just right(lol), the bread is good and they have a huge selection of hot sauces. I always go for the hook and ladder which is delicious! It is steamed ham and turkey with cheese. Another plus is that they have the awesome soda machine where you can choose basically any coke product ever. Very friendly staff and they greet you as you walk in. It is inexpensive and they support local firemen and fire departments which gives them an extra star in my book! Not sure why they reviews aren’t better because I just grabbed a sandwich to-go and as always it was packed, clearly I am not the only one who loves this place.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Firehouse Subs. I always order the club on a sub which is piled with turkey breast, honey ham, bacon, and melted cheese. I always order the sub fully loaded which contains mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side. Firehouse Subs offers hot subs, cold subs, subs under 500 calories, salads under 500calories and extras such as homemade chili. On the day of your birthday, they give you a medium sub for FREE. All you have to do is show your ID. Yes, Firehouse Subs is a chain but they are always constant. I’m always completely satisfied when dining here. And I always leave full.

Come on people, don’t even greet me if all you’re gonna do is warbly mouth a poor«welcome to firehouse subs» like a few people trapped in a dead end nazi driven sub job. As I proceeded to the counter the obviously unhappy woman stated«how can I help you» while staring down at the counter; boy this was a mistake. Yeah they did all the right things and took my money and made a decent sandwich, but I won’t be going back to that torture chamber. So depressing and down staff …

Still not a HUGE fan of Firehouse Subs, but there’s only one reason why I go from time to time. Whenever I’m craving a nice meatball sub, I come directly to firehouse subs. I wouldn’t suggest anything except for that sub at firehouse subs. One thing that did catch my eye(only because I love sports) is that they’ll have espn on their tv on for us fanatic sports nerds to watch while we eat that savory delicious meatball sub

The staff is very very friendly and helpful. I have never been to a firehouse subs so I wasn’t sure what this was all about. I got a meatball sub – my daughter got chicken. We both wanted the brisket which is what they claim to be famous for. They had already run out for the day. While we were there — five more people came in and asked for brisket too… They had a huge selection of hot sauces in front you can use however — -I believe once these things are opened you are supposed to keep them in the fridge so I told my daughter not to eat that — well we still both got sick from the subs that we did have—

I’d love to write this review with lots of tips an great things to say about the business, its staff and food. Even more I’d like to say something is better than LaSpadas when it comes to Subs in Davie. But… I wont, actually I cant… Ever been to Subway? What about a subway where instead of pictures of jared there were firehouse items? Now what about a subway with firehouse items and without an array of delicious subs? Well thats this place. I ordered two deluxe sub platters for an event I was having and after the event there was a platter and a half left. Yep no one touched the subs. On the bright side the Choc’o’chip cookies did not last 5 min. Just stick to subway or better yet La Spadas

I took my buddy to the awesomeness that is LaSpada subs, and he mentioned to me that another good place to check out is Firehouse Subs. This is a chain that was started by a couple of firemen and has been growing in popularity since inception. It seems that the focus is mainly on hot subs, and there is not much of a selection of anything else. This particular location is in Davie on University behind the Chili’s. I had a bowl of chili and the New York Steamer which is Corned beef brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing. My buddies both had the meatball subs. The first impressions were ok, the subs were large, hot, and meaty(that’s what she said…). The chili was also very good considering this is a chain restaurant. There is a very large selection of hot sauces to kick it up a notch. There is also a homemade(store made) hot sauce that was very tasty and not too spicy. I would say that this place is pretty good and is better than a Quizno’s or Blimpie. However, it is nowhere near the holy trinity of subs — LaSpada, Football Subs, and Le Sandwicherie. Firehouse is definitely worth a return visit although for the money LaSpada is a much better deal. NSU Faculty/Students also get a discount with ID.
