I transferred my services with a 10-day advanced period and it was a horrible experience. First of all, I was treated like a New Customer versus a move transfer. My number was unlisted with first initial and last name only for safety purposes, however my entire name showed up on caller ID. I was unable to set up voicemail due to «New Account» Status. Services was scheduled on a Saturday, so NOTHING was able to be resolved. I understand I transferred from a Metropolitan area to «The Country» but the poor level of service and efficiency was unbelievable. Since I was considered a New Customer, I honestly considered calling Brighthouse as an option but why pull them into a «Verizon Catastrophe?»
