Applebee’s

Wow, I am so sorry to see that others rated this place at a one. My husband and I don’t normally do chains, but it was a dreary Saturday night and we tried this place. We were very happy with our meals. I had ship that were excellent, not over breaded and tasty. My husband had a steak, and he was very happy with it. We would go back on a night that wE can’t sit outdoors for dinner. By the way, the former have outside seating, but, what would you look at?

I work at the Starbucks across the street and it definately has been a main dining spot for my fellow shifts and my baristas. I love the wait staff and the food is always amazing. Sometimes it is busy as to be expected but it’s always worth the wait.

I went to the Applebee’s for dinner with my husband. It’s been about a year since we last went and this one is a different location. Lots of changes. Although I can’t say it’s for the better. We both ordered meals (he got a steak and potatoes and I got a beef enchilada) and when I asked about the salads that usually come with a meal I was told that they no longer are part of the meal, but I can pay an additional $ 1.99 for one. No thanks. While waiting for our food we decided to play a game on the table top computer. The games used to be free, but they’ll be glad to add $ 1.99 to your bill so you can play a game. Seriously. Again, no thanks. When we received our meals that first thing we both noticed is that the size of the serving was much smaller than it used to be. And the prices had gone up. While I’m on the fence about serving sizes, I definitely don’t like the fact that the prices went up for less food. We both had two beers since it was happy hour (two for one). The bill showed almost $ 11 for the drinks. That’s bar prices for domestic beer, not restaurant prices.
Applebee’s used to be a middle-​cost family restaurant. Now it seems they’re trying to be more upscale. You’re losing your niche, Applebee’s. Go back to what you’re good at.

This place is pretty good. Good food. Good service. No annoying country music. Dinner specials for two $ 20-​$ 25. Carry out works well too. Don’t really have any complaints except for steaks sometimes have to be re-​fired to be well done. Reasonable prices for the quality of food.

The best place I have been to. Tried chili’s and wasn’t the same. If you go at the right time it is a very pleasant atmosphere. So far the waitresses have been very friendly and helpful. Managers are very helpful when an order does come out wrong. It will always be my number 1 place to eat

Fucking horrible service! It wasn’t even close to busy, literally 10 servers and managers asked our party of 6 if we had gotten our drink orders, we had ordered them but it took 30 minutes for only half of us to even get any drink, never mind we never even got waters. Same shit happened when we ordered food. Everyone finished their meal before I could even order one. Like who takes half an order and walks away?

Ate in the bar section tonight and server was extremely polite! That is when you could find him! Food was just «ok» we ordered the try 3 apps and the wings and pot stickers were hard to eat because they were just HARD! A manager never came around to our table to check on us! Getting the bill we had to ask numerous time, but finally received it! To be honest had we of not met family there I would of walked out, no doubt in my mind! Will be a long time before we go back that’s for sure!

One of the better places to eat in Plant City. Food is cositantly good and services is real good. EWheb we want a decent place to take our family for dinner, it is always on our short list.

We asked for the 2 for $ 20. It was pretty fast, before we finish the salad, that was the food nice and hot, recommended!!!

I called the Carside to Go to place an order. When I pulled up I sat in my car for a few minutes before they came out with my receipt for payment. They were pretty quick and the food was brought out pretty soon after payment. I liked how they kept all the salad toppings in separate containers so that I could put the salad together myself instead of having the lettuce get soggy on the drive back to work. I ordered the fiesta chicken chopped salad and it was pretty good. Kind of standard chain salad as far as the food was concerned.

Kira is the hostess and she is amazing and by amazing I mean doing it by herself. Poor thing. She has great customer service and the place itself is making her look bad. I mean this whole eating establishment is making someone that wants to do the right thing look bad. How can Applebee’s do this to young kids that want to work

The service was so bad I went to look for our waitress Brooke (we actually had to seek out and ask for service through EVERY point of our meal from beverages to the check) and asked her why she hadn’t been by and she was snotty and rude and at that time she was shooting the shit with the kitchen help and the kitchen kid bowed up on me as if he was going to hit me!!! WTF? I can’t believe how sad this place is. SHUT. IT.DOWN. Avoid at all cost. Minus 5 stars.

If I could rate this lower I would. The standard of food for this chain is mediocre at best but what troubles me about this particular site is the willingness of the staff to lie to you. I ordered a salad off the menu without the egg that it usually comes with. It arrived with the egg and when I sent it back they removed the egg, flipped over the lettuce and told me they had brought me someone else’s salad. I know this by how quick they brought out the supposed «new» salad and by the fact that there was eggs all on the underside of the top lettuce leaves. EGG ALLERGIES BEWARE! Even the manager was unhelpful in fixing this. I will never be back.

Placed a 2 curbside togo orders. The two meals plus and appetizer for 20.00. The first order was a steak with a baked potato and broccoli, requested the steak med and it was beyond well done and very dry! The baked potato was not cooked still very hard and cold in the middle. Best part of the meal was the broccoli! My wife ordered the chicken alfredo, no sauce and luke warm, had to add own Alfredo and cheese.
Poor curbside service, waitress paying attention to fellow coworker will not recommend this particular restaurant to anyone.

Wow! The service was HORRIBLE. I sat at the table for ten minutes before the manager walked by and must have seen the annoyed look on my face. She asked if I had been helped and I said no. Another three minutes before the waitress came out and got my drink order wrong. Then she stupidly asked if she could just take the lemon out. NO! My drink is contaminated with lemon that I specifically said I did not want. Fish and chips. How can you go wrong? Well, it was barely warm and very mushy. Not good at all and the service was slooooow.
