I used to love Zenna, but after my birthday incident, I vowed to never come back and support this place. My boyfriend planned a surprise birthday cake/gifts for me and ask Zenna to help out. He spoke to the manager and triple check to make sure they will do it right before he has to go to work. All they have to do is bring the stuff out when I call for my check, but they forgot about it. Terrible.

Been going here for a long time since its honestly one of few late night options! I love the drunken noodles(pad kee mow) from here! My friend loves to get pad thai with extra peanuts. The big noodle soup is actually really BIG! But they have smaller soup versions of tom kha and tom khoong. They do a dragon dance on birthdays and give free dessert(banana and ice cream plate). But i did hear that two people got food poisoning here but we’ve been going for awhile and didn’t experience anything bad. Zhabuki right next door has cheaper asian food as well as hot pot. Zenna and zhabuki are owned by the same person from what i know.

My 2nd time here so time for a review. First time, whatever entrée I had was good but I really enjoyed my friend’s soup — Tom-Kha Kai — so yummy. This time I had just a shrimp tempura roll.- my usual at any sushi place I try That was fine but it’s wrapped in seaweed and most places I’ve had it are not in seaweed. Not a big fan of the seaweed. Sat at the bar this time and it was late so no issue getting seated. The first time I went was on a Friday night and it gets crowded for happy hour so there was a wait. Service was fine, not extraordinary.

Food was good. Wish we came during happy hour. I order the Plano roll which was great and I order the pad kee Mao(drunken noodle) and their spice level range from 1 – 5, my brother order spice level 5 and his mouth was burning. I ordered a four and it was good. I love spicy food.

Oh man, happy hour here is like the best deal I’ve ever seen!!! Atmosphere:(4⁄5) * Cramped but very well decorated. Casual but classy. The restaurant gives the good feeling both inside and outside. Tips: get the booth seating if you can Food:(4⁄5) * Very pleasurable and the price is amazing at happy hour. They also give you a generous portion for the cheap price, salute! The alcoholic drink comes in generous size very impressed! Staff:(4⁄5) * Extremely fast service! The food came out like snapping fingers amazing! Everybody seems really nice except our server Lynn sadly, just because she is the only one who never smile and it seems like everything is a bother to her. Other than that no complain. Cleanliness:(3⁄5) * The hygienic of this place is okay but no major complains maybe because it’s dim in here so it’s hard to see. Good hang out spot: A big YES! Highly recommended!

I love Zenna. I really do… especially during happy hour(mainly come here for the sushi + beer tower… I recommend ordering the shrimp tempura roll). The Pad Thai is also pretty good. However, lately the service hasn’t been the greatest. Not sure what’s been going on lately but it isn’t what it used to be. Servers used to be attentive and helpful and now it takes forever to order, get drinks and the wait for our food was ridiculous y’all. If you’re patient and don’t mind waiting for your food, come here. If not, stay away from Zenna. Hopefully my next visit is better than the last one. Knocked off 2 stars for the terrible service.

This place is good for the happy hour. Not the best sushi, but it’s not the worst either. It’s cheaper, so you pay what you get for. The Tom Kha soup is pretty good though.

I’ve been to this restaurant for their happy hour twice and enjoyed it both times. They have great lunch specials until 3pm and happy hour is from 3pm-7pm. The convenient thing about it, is that you can sit anywhere in the restaurant and enjoy happy hour deals. It’s good to come as soon as HH starts so you can avoid the rush of people that trickle in and fill up the restaurant. Our waitress was very attentive and fast. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll and the yakitori chicken. The roll was crunchy and saucy and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The yakitori chicken is served on a plate with 3 skewers of grilled chicken. There was some kind of sweet brown sauce drizzled on each skewer which tasted amazing. If you want a cheap and filling meal, Zenna is a great place during HH. You can literally order a ton of food off the HH menu and not spend more than $ 15. The drink specials seemed great too but I didn’t order any. I’ve had better sushi but the price makes it worth it.

I came here with my cousin for the first time on a Friday evening. We came during happy hour! It was PACKED and full of energy. I ordered a cosmopolitan — after all, it was $ 3 – and it was very good. Not too strong or too weak. As an entrée, I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken. So good! The right amount of spice and heat. They are open til 3am and happy hour is every day from 3 – 7! I will definitely be back!

This is the kind of place you go with a group of friends to get a beer tower and cheap sushi after work. The parking situation is not good, but most people park at the office behind Bank of America. After knowing the business a little bit, you learn to not take the wait staff seriously. This is more like a frat house with food service than a legit restaurant.

I upgraded this a star only because of the bartender. As usual there was a massive wait for a table and this was 11:00pm! The sushi is good and cheap-must be why it’s always packed. We sat at the bar because it seemed we wouldn’t get a table for an hour. The barkeep was very attentive with food which is so unusual. I still prefer the Carrollton location but might come back for a late dinner at the bar again.

One of the best Thai and Japanese restaurant in Plano. I ordered Chicken Satay, chicken was smooth and has good flavour. My main entrée Thai garlic chicken was very tasty. They are opened until 3am every day, they are perfect for a late late dinner. Customer service needs some improvement, Waiters doesnt come back to check if you need anything else.

I have been coming to Zenna for years because they open late and the location is convenient for hanging out and meeting up with friends for a drink. The drinks and food its a hit or miss though. Their Thai food has always been pretty decent but the Japanese foods are alright. The best dishes are the drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, and curry. I was never a fan of their sushi because it made me sick one time. But last night me and a couple friends came here for happy hour. We ordered multiple sushi/rolls and they were all delicious! The nigiri are $ 1 a piece and all of the rolls are under $ 5. The quality is not the greatest but the fish is definitely fresh. You get what you pay for! The happy hour drinks are very inexpensive but the long island iced tea was super water down. frozen margarita was decent. The waitress we had last night was new so she was very overwhelmed and didn’t really know the drink menu. She was really friendly but too slow to handle Zenna’s happy hour. Great food and nice ambience!

I’m going to need to come back to get a better«feel» of this place. When I came, this place feels more like a late-night dive than a real restaurant. This can be attributed to the barebones atmosphere that tries to be cheap-modern-chic, and to the teenage crowd that seems to hail from Plano. And yes, you have to ask for the Thai menu. Oddly, they don’t include it when they give you the«regular» menu even though the Thai menu is obviously not a secret(it comes laminated in Thai, English, and even with pictures — seems pretty much an often-requested menu in that respect). So we ordered two things from the Thai menu, and a sushi roll from the regular menu. The sole regular-menu item, dynamite sushi roll, which was glopped in sauces and had crawfish(surprisingly), and was decent. Thai basil crispy pork over rice is in the avoid list — small pieces of deeply fried pork that makes for a tough chew makes it unappealing. The duck noodle soup was the star of the three courses we ordered — ample amount of tender dark could be found with the soup, alongside with egg noodles(you get to choose noodles, btw), and«blood tofu.» Sounds strange, but I would definitely order this again. As for the ambience, and the crowd, perhaps the other Zenna locations in Dallas may be better. But as for food, they all should be the same(hopefully).

I only come to zenna for their beer towers, I’ll be clear. Usually I have a pretty scotch free experience here because I know what to expect. Our hostess was very nice! She did her job and made sure we were comfortable. I came this week for a quick round of beers but had a really annoying server. She came by and looked at us, but didn’t bring a menu. I understand you’re busy, but bringing menus for a table of 6 gives you more time! After 15 minutes passed by, I grew impatient and decided to head over to zhabuki instead. They’re owned by the same people anyway. Better luck on another server next time I suppose!

I walked in looking for a friend during happy hour. The hostess wasn’t very friendly, she told me to go look for her through the crowded dining room. When I finally found her I sat down and was greeted by our server named Ice. If I could give him 5 stars I would, he was an exceptional waiter. Labeling the food as mediocre would be an over statement. We ordered sushi and it wasn’t terrible but not good either. Go anywhere else for better sushi. The only reason I didn’t ask them to take it back was because it was happy hour and the prices were amazing, but I guess the low quality sushi is the reason why they can afford to do that.

Finally, a place that know what«make it as spicy as you can, then make it hotter» means! I always have a lot of trouble finding a place that will actually make the food as spicy as I like. Open late(3am). Service so far has been good, though I’ve always ordered take out. Haven’t actually dined-in yet. Ambience seems to be… well, kind of a dive, but the food I’ve had so far has been very good. Never gave this place a second thought until I got sent by work to pick something up, and realized just how good the food looked and smelled. They deliver«pretty much everywhere», according to the driver who just brought me dinner at 2:30am this morning. Their delivery fee ranges from free and up depending how far you are from the restaurant($ 1.50 for me, I’m about 7 miles away). If you order delivery, just know that it’s going to take awhile, due to their massive delivery area. And tip your driver, whatever portion of the delivery fee he might get is barely enough to cover the gas he’s using.

I always enjoy coming here when I’m wanting some Thai food and sushi. I love how they have happy hour for drinks and food. They have a good variety of Thai Appetizers and entrees to choose from. The parking lot isn’t so big so, you have to try and go at a decent time if you want to find a parking spot other than that, I love eating here. :) I highly recommend this place!!!
