This place is not where you want to waste your money! The parking is horrendous… if you come home after 9pm you won’t have a parking space. If you try to call after hours to talk with a courtesy officer… the phone will be disconnected. Leaving you to feel hopeless. The office staff will pick up their phones 10% of the time… if you are lucky. I never write reviews… but I feel so strongly about this one. Take my advice… DON’T MOVE HERE!!! You will thank me later!

The staff is rude and pushy. The apartments have been repeatedly targeted by burglars for the last six months and another home was broken into yesterday. They withhold information from residents about the number and nature of the burglaries, and we do not feel safe here anymore.

There is no parking here. The staff has no answers. The gym is subpar it takes months for anything to get fixed in the gym. When you make a request for service it takes 3 – 5 days for them to come out. I have made several requests for a short when two burners on the stove are on at the same time all the lights and a/​c will cut out. There is water stains in the roof and in a/​c ducts. They only come out and repaint them. No actual work is done to them. Everything in the apts feel wet from humidity. A/​C units feel under powered as a result electricity is high. I would never recommend these apts. They are advertising them as luxury but there is trash every where.

DO NOT MOVE HERE ! Unprofessional staff and rude and noise let me tell you will drive you crazy unless you get lucky and get a flight attendant as neighbor because walls are so thin u will hear everything or move to 3rd floor otherwise you will REGRET !!! I can write a letter of this expensive not worth place ! They are just brand new that’s all nothing special !!!

These apartments suck! When we moved in the air conditioner only flowed into one room. One of the doors to the bathroom the hinges we’re lose therefore the door was just hanging in, the light cover in the kitchen just randomly fell off, constant construction noise & bad management. We had to tell them 10 times what our car tuck # was. Not organized at all! There is dog poop everywhere you look. Trash is always over flowing, no recycling available and I put in a work order and they never did anything. I had to physically go into the office and request a repair! No community events. The only nice thing about these apartments is the granite counter tops. Save time and go rent elsewhere!

These aren’t your average apartments. They are literally more like smaller homes, with a great look, modern and updated appliances and amenities, and a GREAT staff to work with in the clubhouse. Did I mention they are BRAND new?! They just opened on February 2013 — so you could be the first to live in your apartment, like me! :)
If you are in the market for an apartment, DON’T SIGN A CONTRACT until you have checked out Gateway Plano! Oh yeah, tell em Vince Stegall sent you. I have a great relationship with the staff here and they will take good care of you! :-)
