Spavia Day Spa West Plano

From the moment you arrive, you real feel like the experience is about YOU. On the paperwork, you get to choose what kind of music you want, what scent of lotion you want, and even if you want conversation or not!
After signing in, you are escorted to the locker room — where you’re provided with a robe and slippers. A keyless locker lets you secure your items while you are getting pampered. Then, you can spend some time in the relaxation room — very peaceful (there were some coloring books and colored pencils along with books and magazines).
I had a 60-​minute hot stone massage and a facial. Usually, I’m hesitant about hot stones (as I’m kind of sensitive to that much heat), but Dallas did an amazing job of integrating the stones without scalding me! He provided excellent pressure and checked with me periodically to make sure it was still what I wanted.
The facial was relaxing too (so many steps to it — maybe 10 total?) — well, except for when he squeezed my pores (OUCH! That was not fun!). The facial also included some hand lotion and then putting my hands in warm pouches — odd but comforting.
I also enjoyed a salad from their selection. It was fresh and delicious, with enough food that I wasn’t hungry for hours! I had the apple, havarti, chicken salad — and would definitely recommend it!
When my time was complete, I was thankful there was a shower to use (and a blow-​dryer… although no comb and I didn’t have a brush so I might have had wild hair when I left).
I would certainly recommend Spavia. I like that it is more like a day-​spa atmosphere and not a massage-​chain-​hurry-​in-​and-​hurry-​out feel.

I am a monthly member at this Spa. The massage therapists are very professional and provide me with the level of massages I request. The atmosphere is great. The staff is always very helpful and I am always greeted with a warm neck wrap. What a wonderful way to start the massage session.

My mom and I were in as a birthday treat, and Toma and Lonika were wonderfully professional, yet endearing and professional. I became a member immediately after my first visit! This place gives you the spa experience at a reasonable price, making it a double whammy!

I became a member with Spavia about three months ago and my experience has been amazing. The staff is so friendly and wants to make sure your goals for the experience are met; recording your favorite music preference, lotion sent, and warm neck wrap. Each therapist I’ve had the pleasure of meeting has done a fantastic job of making sure that the stress I came in with is gone when I leave. I’ve fallen asleep each visit during me session! Lol

I scheduled a spray tan and they exfoliate you prior to your tan so you get optimal results. I was so pleased with the service, the price and the experience. I will definitely be returning and have recommended it already to my daughter and several of her friends! It was super convenient and the staff was incredibly friendly & professional. Definitely an experience I recommend for anyone looking to have a healthy glow without the headache of trying to find an alternative to laying out in the sun! Oh no!

I was referred to this location by a colleague of mine and can say she gives the absolute amazing recommendations ever. The phone etiquette and professionalism displayed by Brittany was exceptional. The establishment has only been at this location less than a year and I everything in there is brand spanking new.
Jeremy was my massage therapist and I can only say he will be the only one I will be requesting when I return. My experience with him was amazing. He was firm and delivered the right pressure to the all areas accurately. I did a 60 minute massage, which was simply amazing and I still feel like I’m on cloud 9 as I am writing this review. I am very picky when it comes to a massage therapist as I do not write reviews for them if they are not on point. I have frequented a lot of spas in my days, but no one can compare to Jeremy. Ask for him!
The prices are very reasonable and they offer a monthly membership.

Ask for Sahsha. She gives the most amazing massages! I’ve had many in my lifetime, but hers was one of the best.

I’m a monthly member at this spa, and I love it. The deep tissue massages are the best; I often have trouble finding massage therapists that can deliver a firm enough pressure, but I have yet to be disappointed by my deep tissue massages here. I feel relaxed as soon as I step in the door. You’re greeted with a warm neck wrap and then get to fill out a sheet to indicate your preferences for lotion scent, areas of the body to focus on /​avoid, music choices (my favorite is «piano dreams»), and even the therapist’s conversation level (no more chatty masseuses — unless you like it that way). After you check in, you go to the locker /​shower room to change into a spa robe. The lockers have tiny chests for your jewelry inside, which are a nice touch of detail. The waiting area has assorted teas and adult coloring books. I also love that you can schedule appointments easily online via their website or an app.
The only negative I have to say about this place is they increased prices lately, so the new membership packages are significantly more expensive. (If I hadn’t joined pre-​price increase, I may not have joined with the new prices.) With the prices they’re charging now for new members and for non-​member guests, I’d expect a lot more amenities than what they offer, since you can get a membership at a higher end spa (with exercise room, sauna, pool, jacuzzi, etc.) with these prices typically… yet Spavia has none of those. Also, some of the massage therapists are better than others — I loved 2 of the therapists I’ve had thus far and was underwhelmed by one of them.
Other than that, I always emerge from here feeling refreshed and fantastic. I just went last week, and I’m already looking forward to next month’s massage!

Everyone from the owner to the staff has been wonderful. I have had 5 treatments there and have been very pleased. I would recommend Spavia to anyone!

This is a fantastic day spa. Great prices, beautiful facilities, amazing CMT’s (ask for Toma) and overall a fantastic experience.
Many ways to schedule — phone, online, through the app. Incredibly easy. Prices are average — they offer a membership program which is a great deal, if you prefer that sort of thing.
Location is easily accessible, lots of parking and the facilities are beautifully maintained. Inside is a relaxing, charming and intimate atmosphere.
I’ve had the basic 60 min w/​Toma and he is AMAZING. Ask for him if you don’t have a gender preference. I usually get a massage 1 – 2 times a month and this was one of the best ones that I’ve ever had. He has a medical background too, so he knows exactly what he’s doing.
Overall, great experience. Will return soon!

I love Spavia! It provides a great spa experience, just as good or better than some of the more expensive spas in the area. Spavia is much better than your typical spa membership locations. It really does have the look and feel of the expensive day spas. The best part is that it is affordable and comes with the best customer service. The owner, Stephanie, really does make sure everyone is completely satisfied with their spa experience. Love this place!!!

I came here today because of the Unilocal reviews and got the best massage of my entire life by Jeremy. I had the 60 minute deep tissue. I cannot recommend him enough!!! Add in the relaxing ambiance and your choice of music and lotion type! I came in with intense pain and left feeling like jello :). Don’t hesitate!

Let me start by saying the atmosphere of Spavia is very nice. They even let you pick your music and scents. The rooms are quiet as well and have heated tables. Kim did my hot stone massage, which was great. Very relaxing!
I have been very impressed by the management. They really want their customers to leave satisfied and make every effort to make up for an unsatisfactory experience! With that being said, Nonna is horrible! My husband was incredibly unhappy with his massage. We paid for a DEEP TISSUE massage, and she used extremely light pressure, never worked on his back as requested and told him he needed a hot stone massage because his muscles were too tight. Hopefully management will remedy the situation, whether it be more training or letting her go. Stephanie did offer him a complimentary massage and a refund to make up for it, which says a lot! I truly appreciate her trying to make it right.
As you can see from most of the other positive reviews, hopefully we just caught them on a bad day.

I’ve been to a thousand spas in my life and never have I had a better experience. I purchased the Relax package (an hour long facial and an hour long massage for $ 138…a steal) and received a massage from Jeremy and a facial from Kaitlyn. Both were absolutely amazing!!! They were incredibly hospitable and kind, and most importantly made sure I was comfortable and left happy. I felt like I was in a relaxation coma by the time I was done.
Also, the little notes they wrote on the cups added the cutest personal touch to everything. I appreciated it. Thank you Spavia!!!

This place is the best place to go for massages and facials. I got the acne treatment ($ 85) and it really works. Arrive 20 minutes before your appointment so you can chill in the back. In the back they have tea, water, books and I huge sofa to sit on. the acne treatment works and your skins feel refreshed. They also have acne products you can buy. I would recommend you buy them because they really do work.
