Spa Habitat has been my spa of choice for several years. The staff is marvelous but the incredible massage experience I receive from Bill every time is the main reason I am a regular client. He is amazing and has the best technique of any therapist I have ever used.

Wanted to try this place out finally-walked by and thought I give it a try after going to the dry bar. I was in desperate need of a facial and massage after my long vacation. They were able to get me in which was great. They really do try to give you a nice friendly smile when you walk in. Although the I felt like it was kinda force and not genuine. Maybe it’s because once you started to ask questions the smiles went away. Anyway I was going to do a package but opted for a hot stone massage for 80 min and the ultimate facial for 80 mins. What attract me to the ultimate facial is the cold stone massage on the face! I was given a locker and a robe. The changing area is the bathroom. No separate area. But it was a clean bathroom :) you can then relax in the waiting area. Stocked with iced water and different types of tummy tea. My facial started late, about 15 mins late, but the service itself was wonderful and she was super knowledgable. I could tell that the products she was using will be pushed on me later lol. It was very«sales» environment. I was a little disappointed about the late start and how she ended on time. So I felt like my facial was cut short. The cold stone massage was amazing! I would go back for that!!! My hot stone massage was average. What surprised me is that she massaged me more with her hands than with the stones. Which bothered me. I did bring up all those issues at the front desk at my check out. At first, the lady kept telling me she appreciate the feedback. And I can tell she just wanted to move on… So they can start selling me the products. But then another lady came up and finally offered to make up the difference for the late start. I was finally relieve to hear that someone cared enough to do something. I mean this places wasn’t cheap. Would I go back regularly? Probably not… There are other spas that can exceed my expectations for the same price point. But I did enjoy my experience with the cold stones in my facial. Not sure about the results yet… But I felt refreshed and did buy everything they used on me.(I’m a product junkie lol) So we will see if they work!

Right when I walked in I was greeted with smiles and kindness. Had a special day for my mom for her massage and she walked out very happy and said how she really liked her massage and will like to request carol again. We will be back monthly for my mom’s massage with carol! Great services and options and being welcomed with a hot pillow and tea is very warming. Love love love! Thanks ladies at the front desk and Carol for making my mom feel relaxed on her birthday! She absolutely loved it!

Awesome place. Went in for a body massage. I was desperately looking for a good place for a much deserved massage. They were able to get me in on a Saturday even though it was booked & was a weekend. Loved every bit of the massage. Got the hot stone massage with a deep tissue add on. They charged me $ 130 which is a little expensive but definitely worth it. A little pampering now & then is essential. Will go back for sure! On the downside, they did try to sell their products during check out but i didn’t buy anything.

Fabulous! My hubby sent me & a friend for a spa day and it was great! We had the Peace & Love package for two. Our massage therapists & estheticians(?) were amazing. Highly recommend this spa!

I love their organic eco friendly products! They have lotions, soaps and lots to choose from and purchase. Their hot stone massages are pricey but awesome as well. You will come here and instantly feel relaxed and at peace. It’s like a little stay-cation. They also do amazing facials… I have sensitive skin and with the products they use they do not irritate. My skin was soft to the touch right after! Sometimes it’s worth the bucks to pamper yourself if you know you are getting good quality work done! Love it.

Amazing prenatal massage! I had the 50 minute Earth Mama massage today, and I enjoyed it so much that I am writing my first Unilocal review! I was greeted by my friendly masseuse, Kay, as soon as I arrived She led me to the waiting room to fill out my paperwork and offered me hot tea and a warm neck wrap. Before we started, I was able to choose an aromatherapy scent to my liking. I was super excited that they offered a maternity pillow where I was able to lie down on my belly instead of my side. I told her that I liked medium to hard pressure, and she delivered just that! Most people either shy away from too much pressure or push so hard as if they’re mad at you for making them work harder, but Kay had magical hands(and arms). I am so pleased that I will definitely be back myself and will purchase gift certificates for friends and family in the near future!

First time visit and went in for a microderm/facial. Loved the atmosphere and the all organic product line. Also, the tea and heated neck wrap given during check-in was nice. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, hence my 4 star rating. But, no different than any other«high-end» spa I’ve visited. Just as everyone on Unilocal mentioned, they tried to sell products at checkout. Although I did opt to buy one product that was used during my facial, I didn’t find them to be overly pushy with the sales. Unfortunately, I’m not likely to return due to short-lived results. Simply can’t justify the price tag for such minimal results. So, I’ll just continue spa-hopping for now.

I unexpectedly found myself alone on a Saturday with no kids and decided to just call and see if they could accommodate me at the last minute. I was quite impressed that on a Saturday they fit me in for a facial, foot ritual and deep tissue massage. They called me 30 minutes prior to my appointment to tell me that I was late but then realized their mistake. Forgiveable – they apologized again when I arrived. I was taken back immediately, changed, given tea and filled out minimal paperwork. I got a nice warm neck wrap. My deep tissue massage was great. I am not shy(I’m paying too much not to get exactly what I want) so I told my therapist at the beginning that I wanted it deep and she said she would ask me as we went along if I wanted more or less. She indeed kept up with me and the pressure was just as I wanted it. My foot ritual was good. I am a runner and really liked getting a focused massage just on my feet. Facial was good too – same person did the facial as the foot massage. I don’t have skin problems and so I just got the basic one and I liked it a lot. I am not crazy about steam and hate extractions so I was glad not to get these. It was just a nice relaxing facial, lots of different products applied on my skin. Loved the warm compresses throughout and really loved the extra shoulder, arm, and scalp massage. Overall, it was a great experience. I’d do it again for sure!!! To all the people who are are too afraid to tell your massage therapist when something is too hot or too cold or too much pressure – why??? You’re paying $$$$$$$ and you are the client! I don’t understand that at all.

Great overall experience. Due to a phone misunderstanding my and my friend’s reservations got mixed up. This was for a Saturday, so I could easily see them saying that there was no way they could accommodate us. But they fixed it and got us in for Massages, Facials, and a great foot«ritual.» I left with just one item being suggested and I’ve used it for a couple of weeks now and love it. It would be nice if they had shower facilities, but the services in total were so good, that I’m happy to go home and shower. This place is fantastic.

I went to Spa Habitat last week after the Mister purchased a spa day for me. I arrived, filled out minimal paperwork, had a lavender neck wrap applied and, and changed into my robe. While there, I got to experience the Eco Buff(good, but not great), the Signature Organic Massage(amazing), the Organic Foot Ritual(lovely), and the Signature Organic Facial(there are no words). My providers were amazing; the Eco Buff was a little quicker than the scheduled time, and my provider said, «Well, more time for a massage, then!»(WHOSAYSTHAT? MOSTPROVIDERSWOULDBEHITTINGTHECOFFEE!!) Bill focused on my neck and shoulders, since I have a previous injury there that causes a lot of tension. He was such a neat person. My facialist(whose name eludes me at the moment, but it started with a K) was very thorough and kind. She was so talented that she put me to sleep. A lovely robe and tasty(but not too heavy!) lunch came with the spa package. I really need to take a minute, though, and rave about the products. Clovertree was developed by the spa owners, and they are amazing products. I do a lot with essential oils in my daily life, and I was so impressed with the products. It’s a sensible range of products; not too many, and not to few. Most of them, with the exception of a few high-range skin serums, are reasonably priced. My providers recommended several things for me, but all realistic given the level of skin care I was willing to put up(minimal). I will absolutely be back; on the way home, I told the Mister that he could get a service for me for any major holiday or screw-up.

So this review might not be the most detailed(yikes!) but hopefully it helps. I can’t remember her name but my masseuse was nice. She read over my info sheet and applied pressure accordingly. She asked me if I wanted her to lighten the pressure at one point and I, being the people pleaser I can be sometimes, didn’t want to say«Yes, it hurts,» — so I told her no. She almost broke me in two lol. It was not her fault though and it wasn’t a bad experience… it was a good one in that, if you want deep, they have it for you! The heated beds are great. The aroma therapy could stand to be stronger — I want the room to really smell like it, not just the few seconds her hands are over my face. Also, at the counter, after the treatment, I felt a bit of a sales pitch/push for the products that were used during treatment. I think a better approach might be to ask if the customer is interested first, and if they say yes, then bring out the products/info. All in all, okay.

We’ve been here twice now, and the first time was better than our most recent visit. The spa itself is very inviting, with the aromatherapy scents and the relaxation room prior to the massage. The staff is very friendly which is a huge plus at any spa. My friend and I had a couples massage, Swedish for both of us. What I do love is that they had our information on file, including which fragrance we preferred last time. They have a few things set up in the massage room that you can sample during your massage(including a lip balm which they set up with two applicators). The beds are heated(the heat can be adjusted by the massage therapist) and there is some relaxing music playing during the massage. One awkward thing is that when we walked into the massage room, both of our massage therapists were talking to us(sometimes even over each other) to guage if we had any trouble spots and it just wasn’t very cohesive. It seemed my friend’s massage therapist was a bit more tenured than my massage therapist as she seemed well-versed in the«welcoming script.» One thing I noticed upon getting into my massage bed was that the white sheets were actually a bit stained… even the head rest had some markings on it. I decided to just ignore this and hope that the sheets were actually clean… and just a little old. When the massage therapists arrived in the room, they asked us how the heat of the bed was. Mine was fine, at the time but, mid-way through the massage, I noticed there was no heat. My massage therapist had to turn it back on(not sure how it turned off) and by the end of the massage I was ONFIRE. Of course I could have asked him to adjust the heat but I felt bad interrupting his work and didn’t want to ruin my friend’s massage by talking any more than I had to. I think the worst part of the massage was the end where we walked out and my massage therapist listed the 3,482 products he had used on me and had graciously«set aside» on the counter for me in case I was interested. This is a definite turn off. I feel like, for a spa as pricey as this one, the products should sell themselves… not your massage therapist. I don’t blame my massage therapist at all as I feel this is just part of the job, but I do think it’s something they need to tone down a bit if they want people like me to return. For a $ 260 couples massage, I think we might be looking elsewhere unfortunately.

Getting over my Monday blues, I needed something to relax me. I had a gift certificate so figured it would give this place a shot, amazing! I had a deep tissue massage with Bill, exactly what the doctor ordered!

I got the 50 minutes Swedish massage and it was great– it was my first professional massage and I’m hooked. Time went by quickly(I was worried I picked too long of a massage and would get bored) but I never felt rushed. Erin was my technician and she was really respectful about my skin sensitivity… She didn’t put anything scented on me and sent me home with some samples to try since they use natural scented oils vs the Bath and Body Works of the world who use synthetic fragrances. Hopefully I’ve found a place to ship at AND pamper myself.

This was my second time to this location for the same two services. Last time I loved it. Therefore I asked for a gift card for Christmas so I could repeat my experience. Everything about my visit this time was wrong. I felt rushed and not relaxed. I had an eco-scrub and hot stone massage which is the same services I had last time. This time I had one person do both services. I have had many massages at many different places but this was the first time I have ever had a massage with someone wearing gloves. It felt like being rubbed with someone who had baby plastic pants on their hands. It didn’t feel good and it didn’t sound good either. Since I had the eco-scrub first there was still sandy residue on me and that didn’t feel very good with plastic either. My therapist also seem to keep digging in the same place over and over and over to where I almost thought she must be deliberately trying to hurt me. I think I might have been able to forgive most of the things that I wasn’t crazy about if my therapist was not wearing plastic gloves for my two hour procedure including my 80 minutes massage. I think at least should have been sold on their website or when booking that therapist may use gloves as I have never ever had that done. I spent a lot of money and was really looking forward to a relaxing experience and unfortunately left having the worst massage of my life.

I had a brazilian bikini wax with Jacqueline this week. Without getting into too much detail, I can tell you that she is a perfectionist and a pro. She uses this sugar-based wax and I have had no irritation since, which is a new experience for me. Her tableside manner is outstanding and I won’t be going anywhere else for waxing from now on. She did my brows and(yeesh) upper lip too, and it all looks great. Girls, you can trust her with your cookie.(And you know that’s hard to find!)

Let me say first off that I held back one star because my first time booking a massage with Spa Habitat did not end well. A series of unfortunate circumstances led to me not getting my massage. Nevertheless, the Owner of Spa Habitat himself reached out to me, apologized for the inconvenience and invited me to get a massage on-the-house! My massage at Spa Habitat was nothing short of awesome. Ben is a gifted masseuse and has the friendliest smile that can put anyone in a good mood. Although, I think the best part of Spa Habitat is their Apothecary. they have aroma oils, muscle relief oils. all with a delightful non-OTC twist of ingredients(Arnica, Olive Oil, Lavender paired with Peppermint, Bergamot blends,.). What can I say, I’m ready for my next massage!

Again, if I had more money in my life I would probably get an hour massage weekly. I’ll even take monthly. Alas, I don’t so I get a massage I would say, maybe 3 – 4 a year. This was my first time at this location and it was great. My masseuse’s name was Benjamin and omg he did wonders to my body.(BTW, I got the couples massage with Geoff) He was definitely working out the kinks in my body and even knew that my feet needed a good olé massage AND finished me off with hot stones on my back. LOVEIT. It was $ 200 for the both us, which really isn’t that bad plus like I said he was great with me. Definitely will be back.
