We used to frequent this place about 2x a month, but then they switched ALL of their products to PEPSI! Who drinks PEPSI with Mexican food?! I like the food a lot, but rarely visit anymore since they do not have Coke products. Dear Owner, cheaper fountain service is NOT always better for you in the long run FYI.

Nice little place with garage doors, tvs, patio. Very good tacos. I had salmon tacos and ceviche. Both were excellent. Good service as well. I will be back.

I’m confused. The queso isn’t cheesy, the sangrias aren’t fruity, the music isn’t Mexican. Am I at a Mexican restaurant? No, it feels like a lame, uncoordinated party. No buneo, amigos.

One of the few places where a Top Shelf Margarita is exactly how you’d make it at home when you’re pouring your booze. Awesome.

I come here about once every 3 – 4 months. I love their street tacos and the 6 sauces that they give with them. The avocado sauce is amazing! If it was a little closer to where I hang out, I would come more often. A little pricey, but only because I order 3 tacos, and 1 – 2 beers.

The bistec was awesome, spicy and flavorful, but the rest was just so so. I’m a bacon lover, and I actually could have done without the bacon in the queso locos. Fun atmosphere and the staff was on the ball.

My friends and I come here all the time. It’s just a fun atmosphere that we all enjoy. The food is good and the prices are great. The portion sizes are pretty darn big especially for the portion sizes. The burritos, the nachos, enchiladas are huge! Look at some of the pictures. The wait staff are generally fun and entertaining and they have good memories. They always remember us and our tastes. They have a 6 shooter of sauces that is pretty cool. I love one in particularly which is similar to a creamy chipotle ranch and I use that with my chips and tacos and burritos all the time. They also have mini sopapillas that we just devour. I am not going to say they have the best Mexican food. It’s fine — Frankie’s is leaps better — but it’s the overall atmosphere that I really enjoy. They have live music and performers and I have enjoyed the talent of these performers. I like the outdoor patio area and we go here often for brunch or dinner during the spring and summer. During winter we hang out indoors and there are a number of TV’s to watch games. I definitely recommend coming here for a fun atmosphere, solid food, good prices.

Future visits really took the shine off this place. It was always at least good, just not amazing. Plenty of other options out there for good tacos, if you are local they are definitely worth a shot, but its nothing to write home about.

Pros: the beer is the perfect temperature and service both the times I’ve been there has been friendly and attentive. If I want a casual place close to the house to grab a couple of beers, eat chips, try their sauces, and maybe watch a game, this will do. Cons: food and location. It’s cool that they have a little patio outside but the view is miserable. We’ve tried several tacos and the ceviche… and I never want to try any of them again. Not good. Not good at all… especially the fish taco.

We’ve driven past Señor Locos for a while now. We wanted to give it some time to survive, because it’s housed in the former home of our favorite dive burger shop, Jake’s. Though we couldn’t tell from the outside, the inside was completely remodeled to open the space up to resemble an ice house. A wall came down to install a garage door, allowing the restaurant to have inside-outside space.(I still wish this location had a better patio — but that’s another issue. They’re kind of land locked.) And the food? It’s really good. Simple, basic Tex-Mex — and there are times that simple basic Tex-Mex is exactly what you want. Plus, depending on what you order(namely, tacos), you get an assortment of six delicious salsas. We split nachos and a couple of tacos. It was wonderful. Staying true to our«Is this a real-deal Tex-Mex joint or not» test, we ordered the sopapillas. They were little pillows of cinnamon-sugar air, served with honey and chocolate. Señor Locos passed the test with flying colors. We’ll be back!

It was a Saturday night and we sat on the large patio. Live music was fantastic and pink tacos were so delicious! This place has a great vibe. Service was not really up to par, but I’ll still be back for those tacos. Yum!

Wife and I were the first customers here on Monday — Labor Day, 2015. I had called earlier and talked to a nice gentleman –Francisco — to make sure they were open before we arrived at 11 a.m. Since we were the only customer’s at the time, service was quick. Our waiter Kyle was responsive and helped us through the menu since this was my first time here. The restaurant was generally clean, only thing that was not clean was the sauce holder which needed some cleaning since it had splashes of sauce all around it. I ended up ordering the $ 11.99 Mexican Street Tacos with Corn Tortilla and Charro Beans. I had 3 different Taco’s: — Brisket — Tender well-seasoned beef brisket, served with sautéed poblano and onions jack cheese mix — Asada — Tender steak diced and sautéed, a good old fashion mexican favorite, great with any of our six shooter salsas. — Steak & Chimichuri — Diced pork tender steak, marinated in red chile sauce, topped with diced pineapples. These were really tasty and are the favorites in the restaurant according to our waiter. I didn’t try the local beers which I was told were good, maybe next time. Overall, our dining experience was good other than the dirty sauce holder. The food came out from the kitchen extremely fast, and our waiter was very attentive. We’ll definitely come back and see what else they have to offer.

Atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. Black beans and guacamole were a hit. Do not forget to ask for the six shooter to have a variety of sauces. Ask for Christine, she was great. Please note, 10% of sales on Sunday goes to the wounded warriors project. For dessert please try the mini sopapillas. Their special and awesome

2 ½ stars. I really wanted to like this place. I love these type of neighborhood type joints. Let’s start… The service was ok. Server was nice but lacked on service. Had to ask for water and tea refills a couple of times. Let’s get to what really matters. The food. Asked server what his favorite was and he suggested the street tacos. Tried 3 different kinds(pork carnitas, beef and chicken fajita) and they were so salty they were hard to eat. I also tried the fajitas(combination) and the beef had an off pudding taste, and the chicken was very garlicky. Rice and beans were good. We tried the queso and it was kinda bland. I might give this place another try but I doubt I will. There are so many GOOD taco places in this area. They need to step up their game!

My wife and I moved nearby nearly a year ago and delayed trying out Señor Loco’s. I’m glad we finally did. The staff is friendly and the bartender, Victor, is a lot of fun. The bar is a little small but good enough for a happy hour. The patio is a good size and a lot of fun but it can be a little noisy during week day rush hour(aka happy hour) since the patio backs up to Parker. The nachos are probably my favorite nachos in Texas. It’s a huge portion that you can actually share and is loaded with all sorts of deliciousness. They have a bacon queso… OMG! The house margarita is a little sweet for my taste but they make up for it with some quality top shelf margaritas. They also make a good spicy michelada. Best of all– everything is very affordable!

fun place, thach roof, big patio and a separate what looks like to be a smoking area. The six different hot sauce are tasty from hot to a mild a avocado base one. Food is good for Tex-Mex. I have gone back serveral times.
