Just drove up to eat dinner here. They are totally gone!!! I’m sick. One of our favorite restaurants and patio. Someone has already ruined the beautiful patio. Such a shame!

We have been to Patrizio’s perhaps 5 time over the past 5 years. Times have been hard on this restaurant. The bread was definitely last week’s. The crab cakes and greens were not as good as before. The saffron risotto with asparagus and shrimp smelled bad but my wife said it was cooked properly. The meat balls and tomato sauce were boring and not tasty. The Brits have a word for a meal like this, «shite!»

My husband and I went to celebrate early on a Friday. A tall older white gentleman was our server. Although we were only one of 5 tables in the entire restaurant, we were completely ignored. My pasta was warm at best and my husbands salad had browned lettuce. We were so ignored we finally had to ask the front desk to run our check for us. We received more service from her than our waiter all night. We have gone in years passed and it was much better. I emailed the manager a long letter with my experience and recieved nothing back. I followed up a week later and still nothing. It’s obvious this company doesn’t care about its patrons.

We had an OK experience for lunch several months ago, and so we went back for dinner tonight. After having our Pasta dinners, within 90 minutes, both of us had severe stomach aches, and I had to make several stops on my 30 mile drive home. Both are dishes contained artichoke hearts in them, mine had a spinach ravioli and hers had an angel hair pasta. I would describe the dishes further, but would not want to even remotely encourage anyone to go to this restaurant.

I went in for lunch today by myself to sit and bar and work, eat/drink. 12:30PM restaurant is empty of people, bar top is dirty, and I had to leave. PLEASECLEANYOURRESTAURANT. This used to be the place. I hope it will be again.

Staff greeted us warmly with wide smiles. The Spaghetti, meatballs and tiramisù were delicious! The Plano location had a great atmosphere !! I especially loved how the classic art work was nicely framed wirh golden accents! I’d definitely recommend the restaurant to any one who is interested in a classy, quaint dining experience with good ol’ Italian food!

I visited the location on a Groupon. I had called a week ahead to the restaurant to clarify what the Groupon would cover since it was not clear.(All it said was ‘meal for two’). The man on the phone said we could order any two entrees. When we got to the restaurant I confirmed with the waiter again on what the Groupon would cover and he also said any two entrees and pointed at the entrees in the menu. We ordered two entrees. We also ordered a few drinks. We knew the drinks wouldn’t be covered so we asked for a separate check for the drinks. When the bill came… sh*t hit the fan. The Groupon did not cover the entrees we ordered. When we pointed out the mistake to the waiter he changed his story. I talked to THEMANAGER because surely this was a simple mistake, not only was she so rude in her demeanor SHEACTUALLYTURNEDAROUNDANDWALKEDAWAYFROMME when I was showing her the fine print on the groupon. I even tried to show the call log of me calling the restaurant the previous week. I was never rude, never raised my voice because I have worked in the service industry through college. She wasn’t apologetic or helpful. The manager who was a heavy set, tall brunette lady is the reason I will never be back and will advise my friends and coworkers in the area to never visit this location.

I LOVED this place! My husband had been here before but it was my first time and it did not disappoint! Ivan was our waiter and he was spot on with his recommendations, especially his suggestion of the crispy goat cheese appetizer he recommended after we placed our order for the bottle of wine. He said it would be a perfect pairing and it was! I had the Chicken and Mushroom Lasagna, which was grilled chicken with mushrooms, spinach, garlic, romano and mozzarella cheese in a smoked gouda cream sauce that was to die for! My husband had the Frutti Di Mare over linguini, which is the only reason I am not giving this a 5 star rating because he said the calamari was just a bit over cooked but everything else was great! We ate on the patio and it was a wonderful, relaxing meal with a very attentive waiter! Highly recommend this place!

Very disappointing I have been wanting to go this restaurant for over a year saved it for a special occasion my 50th birthday. We got there and the service was horrible. We gave our order for our drinks the waiter brought the wrong drinks. Then we ordered our wine and after about 10 minutes they brought our wine then our food arrived and to no surprise it was delivered wrong. Then they handed the bill knowing it was my 59th no happy birthday. We asked to speak to the manager who also just apologized but did not offer us a second chance to come back and to try again. Very disappointed and will never go back.

This restaurant has been around for at least 20 years used to go often but moved out the area I was in the neighborhood the other day and was craving the penne salad with chicken, broccoli and pine nuts. I was excited that they still had it. Right off the server was not the most friendly, took our drink and appetizer order and we waited and waited. Eventually the appetizer came out still no drinks… Eventually he came back with drinks and took our food order well that’s the last we saw of him. Another server bought out our food. It was now time to get the check I had to go inside and ask the manager to please get us the check. The server appeared with the check with a big smile on his face thanking us for coming in, I guess he was hoping for a good tip Overall the food was good the service PATHETIC !!!

Been here a few times. Every time the food is somewhere between meh and ok. I want to like this place… I like the interior with high ceilings and windows. I feel like the restaurant has the potential to be excellent with just a little refinement and better execution on the food.

Walked into this place for the first time for lunch. Was abruptly and aggressively greeted by the manager Kim Fichern saying«we can’t have you park your trailer out front. You have to move it.» It was a small uhaul cargo trailer. To be fair, it was 3:00 on a Tuesday and there were no cars in the parking lot. Not a one. But moving it to the side wasn’t really a big deal. It was how rude she was about it. Not hello, welcome, would you please mind moving your trailer? So I told her that she needs to learn how to properly greet customers. She elevated her rudeness by pressing her stance. I asked to the manager and she informed me she was he manager. So I asked for the General Manager or the owner because she answered to someone. She refused to give me their contact information. My mother and I left and vowed to find out. Alas, we never did. And I’m just now finishing this draft. So, I’m sure the food is average because it’s a strip mall kind of place. May be they have a new manger? Doesn’t matter to me, I wouldn’t go back regardless.

Wonderful, positive, dazzling experience. I got the Groupon because I had tried the Patrizio in Highland Park, but read some negative Unilocal reviews and set expectations accordingly with the boyfriend. Service was fantastic — could not have been better. Aldrick provided thorough recommendations(Caesar salad, chicken mushroom lasagna, and specific glasses of wine) and checked in multiple times. Manager even came by to check on us and cleared the table of a few dishes. Will come back and ask for Aldrick specifically. Food was delicious. We smelled someone else’s order of mussels and had to order them. AMAZING. Then, took Aldrick’s recommendation and ordered the Caesar salad and chicken mushroom lasagna. FANTASTIC. Right on point. Overall, wonderful experience outside on the patio for date night on a Friday. Strung lights from the trees, nice breeze, wine, good service, and delish food. Will be going back.

I love coming to Patrizio’s, the staff is super friendly and attentive. We have tried an extensive variety of dishes on the menu and all have our thumbs up. We order the crab claws every time and they never disappoint. The patio seating area is nice and shaded and perfect right before the summer heat wave.

Always consistently good over the past 20 years… We come here often. Great atmosphere inside or out on the patio. Can rely on the food being good every time. And, the bread they bring is delicious. I always find myself eating more than I should. Prices are reasonable. Our bill for two adults and a child for dinner was $ 50 with tip. Good for lunch or dinner. Good for date night, with the family, with friends, or with business associates. You can count on Patrizio’s to be a reliably good restaurant with good food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices.

This is the second time in 5 months coming here and both times have been wonderful. The food had good flavor and the staff was much better than my last review! Very attentive, lots of knowledge about what is on the menu. I love the pepperoni bread, chopped salad, pizza… All wonderful. They have a cute outdoor area if that is more your style. It’s a solid choice for Plano.

The interior design/décor is very pretty, and creates a relaxing atmosphere with– quite tastefully– no TV’s. :) The food quality is excellent for the price range. $$ I had the Baked Ziti with tomato sauce, and my wife had the Eggplant Parmigiana. We also had the fried calamari with aioli basil sauce, which was even better than it sounds. The noise level is unpleasant due to the lack of sound dampening. We were unable to have a conversation or understand what our waiter was saying. Next time we will sit on the patio to avoid the noise inside. Parking is always an issue here on a busy night with so many restaurants sharing the same small lot. The restaurant provides valet service, which is nice.

I used to come here a lot a few years ago — the restaurant would be so busy. You could see girls coming here to brunch and families with their kids. The food was great and the place just had a good vibe to it. Oh man, things have totally gone south. I came here for lunch takeout on Saturday at noon. I expected to see a full restaurant since it is prime time but there were only 2 tables full. The restaurant seemed totally dead to me. There was a lot of wait staff but they looked like they were just hanging out. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and calamari for takeout. I remember both dishes used to taste great — esp the pizza! But the food has taken a turn for the worse. The pizza dough was so perfectly round, it was hard to believe that it could be homemade. It sure didn’t taste homemade. Nothing about the pizza tasted like real italian food — there are so many inventive pizza places now like Cane Rosso who make Patrizio’s pizza look and taste embarassing. Also — the hostess could really use an attitude change.

This place has really gone downhill. This place was a staple for date nights in my single days. What a difference a few years makes. They’ve remodeled, removing anything that absorbs sound, so what used to be a quiet dining experience is now a struggle to drown out the surrounding conversations & ambient noises. We sat about 50 feet away from an office party & we had to shout across the table in order to be heard. The food USED to be pretty great. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. The spicy dish was almost inedible because they were too heavy handed with the spices. The other dish had a cream sauce that was so bland, we had to add salt(something I would’ve never dreamed of doing there before) in order to give it some flavor. If you’re going to downgrade the quality of your food to Olive Garden standards, you should adjust the prices accordingly. The only bright point was the service. Our waiter was excellent & was on par with the type of quality that Patrizio’s built it’s name on. It’s a shame that the rest of the experience fell woefully below our expectations. Looks like we’ll be skipping this place from now on.

For a $ 30 lunch, I was not impressed. The garden salad looked limpy and not fresh. The pasta was just okay! And the bread pudding was meh. And the wine was good. For an expensive lunch, it was meh.
