Stale environment. Plenty of empty seating. I ordered Bulgogi then she came back to say they didn’t have any left and asked me to place a different order. I ordered the beef fried rice. She came back a minute later to say they do have Bulgogi. I’m confused about this place! My friend’s Tofu & Pork Chile paste soup was served in a hot pot and delicious, flavorful and tasty.

All the reviews here are fake Bonchon Radish or Moo Kimchi was spoiled. seriously it was terrible and had mold Kimchi = terrible quality Entrée Ssam — way over priced for how much you got and was 80% fat. literally it was all fat al tang — small piece of roe … again way over priced Spicy chicken stew — wow… terrible again. I saw them microwave the chicken to defrost it. and then serve it to me. the chicken was like eating a rough piece of cardboard Service — great. but the food is so terrible that the service can’t make up for it

Service was remarkable. The staff was eager to serve. We ordered the kim chi soup and the beef tofu soup. Kim chi soup was on the salty side. I couldn’t finish it. The beef tofu soup was bland so I had to spoon some of the kim chi soup broth into the beef tofu soup for flavor. The server came by smiling widely and asked if the food was good. I responded yes, nodding my head back and forth. The side dishes were well prepared. We didn’t have trouble getting rid of them and then some. I plan on returning to order the same thing. Those two soups are my favorite things to order. I would be sorely disappointed if they were to taste the same as before.

I came into this restaurant a couple days ago around 8pm and it was completely deserted so my family and I had many doubts. However, they proved us completely wrong. The service was great! Food was made quick and was completely and utterly delicious. I don’t know how I can express my new love for this restaurant. Don’t let the deserted-ness fool you, because they can make a mean galbi and bulgogi dish! I recommend trying the japchae as well! I am definitely coming back next time!

Food — 3 stars Service — 5 stars Value — 3 stars The galbi was good, but the japchae was watery and too salty for our tastes. Service was friendly and prompt, but we were the only table there on a Saturday evening around 6:30 or so. There are better options for Korean food within a 5-minute drive from here.

Use to be Mr. Tofu, but it’s under new owner and new name. Menu is different from before but still has basic Korean food. Very clean and fresh.

Best Korean restaurant in Dallas! Jipbop is superb! The food is scrumptious and the service is friendly! Located on the west plaza by 99 Ranch Market, this is one of the best Korean restaurant in Dallas! I personally think it’s better than Jin Mi, H Mart food court, and jusgo food court. The lunch special(M-F: 11 – 2) for ~$ 12 which includes: a soup, a meat skillet with red bean rice, and lots of small portion sides. I had a tofu soup and bulgogi. You know the food is fresh and good when it’s boiling and sizzling! I think they were previously known as Mr. Tofu. But don’t let the location fool you because the food is delicious, and the service is fast and friendly! Overall, if you are craving for some Korean cuisine don’t hesitate for another second and head to Jipbop! You won’t regret it; in fact you’ll be happy! Enjoy! FOOD: 5⁄5 SERVICE: 5⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5
