The food is usually very good. However, delivering usually takes up to one hour. We always get Beef Fried Rice and Sweet and sour Chicken. CHAR-Char Beef is the bomb

This is my absolute fav place in the world. My daughter LOVES their sesame chicken. We literally order it every Friday night. The driver is always so sweet and asks my daughter how she’s doing, etc. Hands down, the best :)

Fast service, my go to for Chinese food. I like teriyaki chicken with sauce on the side. It’s healthy and has more than enough portions.

I typically try to give more of an explanation with my reviews but this place simply doesn’t deserve it. I requested delivery based on the recommendation from other’s here on my floor at my office. I ordered Orange Beef and a couple egg rolls. The egg rolls were fine. However, the Orange Beef was a disgusting oily soup with slimy soaked battered pieces of beef floating around. Tried a bite and immediately threw it in the trash. It was disgusting.

Second time visiting Jade Palace. First time wasn’t memorable, so we went for round two. General Tso Chicken… horrible. no flavor, some was cooked well some was chewy. best part was the water chesnuts. Fried Rice– no flavor Cashew Chicken– ok, not wow Worst part was the egg rolls. a buck a piece for under cooked rubbery rolls. They honestly tasted/felt like they were frozen from a box and microwaved. Won’t give this place a third time.

I am a long-time customer who won’t ever come back. I have experienced the quality of food declining over the last few years, but thought I would give them another chance tonite because we craved a Chinese food fix. OMG. The Lemon Chicken I ordered had NO lemon flavor at all. The chicken, believe it or not, were sliced breaded cutlets straight from Sam’s Club. So were the Egg rolls. Straight out of a darned box. Mongolian Beef had uncooked onions. I feel so sorry for this place because it once was the very best for Chinese take-out in East Plano. Three orders later now, they are headed fast downhill and lost me forever. Disgusting and I am pissed. What happened to you?

This place is a quiet small restaurant, the ambience and décor is odd and you can tell as soon as you step on to the property and come upfront to the set of double red doors but I kind of I like it :) so you bet I was excited as well when those colorful Christmas lights came on inside while In the middle of eating. Food: the sesame Chicken is soo good, it’s got a crispyness to it that makes it good, the consistency of the sauce is a bit runny compared to other places iv been to but it’s still good. The boyfriend has had multiple plates from here and finds them all to be good and unique in taste in terms of the sauce, he does say not to get any«seafood» plate though, as it is not actual fresh sf. The hot and sour soup is hot and yummy and it comes with your food if you dine in and those little crispy things are crispy and not old and stale like some other places so that’s always good . Service/how it works: you walk in and they ask if you’re there to eat in or take out and you find a seat. They are very attentive and will ask if you need a refill before it gets to the bottom and they also check in with you if everything is good. There is always take out orders coming in and out of the place. Also portions are big so you more than likely will need to take the rest home. Story time: I came here once a long time ago with my family and the portions were huge so you can order different plates and split/share. I then came a couple years later with the boyfriend after asking my mom for a recommendation for Chinese food and she led us to this place so we went and tried it and it became our Chinese to go place but the main lady would always seem to rush us, like we just barely got our food and she would bring our check out and would tell us «no rush» but how are you not supposed to feel rushed in that kind of situation so we slowly stopped coming here and going elsewhere and somehow recently we gave it another try and started coming again late 2014 and the lady doesn’t do the whole rush thing anymore so it makes me feel more comfortable and wanted and she even says«see you next time»(or something between those lines) now so that’s good :)

What’s strange about this place is that it’s allegedly been here since 2010 or even earlier. I visit this shopping center quite a bit and I have never even seen it. It’s almost as if my conscious mind was hiding its existence from me until my mind was ready to take in its grandeur. Jade Palace is basically the most quintessential shitty(in an endearing way) Chinese American takeout place I have ever visited. The place has a trippy red and green color scheme going. There’s a set of double, double doors to walk through. When you step inside, you don’t know what to think. The place is like a fusion of design elements from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s all at the same time. Like all good Chinese restaurants, they focus on the food, because that’s what restaurants are supposed to. Industrial grade carpeting, terracotta tiles, some trippy mirrors all over the walls and the strangest table layout ever. You walk up to the counter and above are some extremely faded, backlit yellow menu displays. It looks like it was warped in from the 80’s. The only thing that betrays the fact that this is a professional operation are two point of sale systems, black, shiny and quite new, sitting behind a tangle of network cables. I will say I haven’t been in the bathroom yet and I’m not sure if I want to. I fear it may disgust me so much that I’ll never return. Ignorance is bliss. How’s the food? The restauranteurs pack heat in the form of a $ 3.95 lunch special. Yes, $ 3.95. You get a soup, some of those fried wheat chips, rice and the special. Let’s start with the chips. They’re actually good, surprisingly enough. I’ve never liked those things until now. The chips here are not stale, which is nice. The hot and sour soup is actually the best I’ve ever had. Not too hot, not too sour, but definitely both. It’s got bamboo slivers floating around in it and other stuff. The texture is perfect. not too thick, not too thin. The chef has mastered the art of corn starch use. Now what about the main dish? You get a big scoop full of regular steamed or fried rice as well as a decent portion of the main dish. Needless to say they taste pretty good too. The service is harried and kind of rushed, as with all such Chinese takeouts. Due to the lower prices, they need to make it up with volume, and speed is the order of the day. Best Chinese American food in Plano I would say.

I was hungry and looking for a place that delivered. This place had pretty good reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered the Mongolian beef with broccoli instead of rice, an egg roll and wonton soup. The egg roll was ok, nothing special just your typical egg roll. The wonton soup was fine too; just your typical soup. Both were good. I would order both again. The Mongolian beef said it came mixed with green and yellow onions. That was an understatement. There were more onions than beef. For every bite of beef, I ate at least 5 onions. I like onions but this was just too much. I definitely would not order it again.

Food is always very good but delivery usually isn’t quick. Took over an hour! We had to call twice and they weren’t apologetic whatsoever. I would definitely recommend picking up or dining in.

My husband and I have been coming here since 2008 and it’s a regular place for us to stop by. I absolutely love their prices and very large portions. Everything is cooked fresh and they always take pride in their presentation. Their sesame chicken is amazing and chicken lo mein is never greasy — always tender and delicious. The ladies are super sweet(family owned) and always stop to make conversation with us. It might be a hole in the wall, that could admittedly use some updating, but we love it just the way it is! We have some awesome memories here: D

This restaurant has been our go-to place for Chinese food when we were in need of good food, quiet, and close to home. The food is tasty, consistently seasoned the same way, and plentiful. Prices are very reasonable. A little difficult to find if you are not familiar with the are, but worth the search effort.

Been ordering for years, but tonight will probably be the last. Ordered for 6 people, celebrating my birthday. Ordered Sesame Chicken for my wife as usual(we always order this for past few years). Today we got sweet and sour chicken. Wife calls back. They said to go ahead keep it and they will send correct order. Driver comes by, delivers food and asked to pickup wrong food. Wife said lady said we didn’t have to. We get two phone calls saying they will charge us for the chicken. Driver comes back and we give him what is remaining of the wrong order. Wife was hungry and ate a few pieces while waiting. Why would restaurant want something cooked 3 hrs ago? We had a similar problem on another order a few months ago, daughter didn’t get meal. Had to order it and wait another 45 mins. Whatever happened to customer service? We have been ordering since 1995. A lot of places would admit error, comp meal and make it right. Sorry Jade Palace. You lost a long time customer.

I’ve been ordering here for years. Everything I’ve had was delicious. Large portions, consistent quality, cheap prices, super fast delivery. No MSG by the way. Any time I’ve tried other Chinese takeout I’ve been disappointed. I will continue to go here and would be heart broken if they closed.

we order here all the time and the hot n spicy chicken is the best, but I gave 3 stars bcuz the person who takes the order over the phone takes forever to understand your order. We also tried the sweet n sour chicken tonight and there was hardly any chicken.

Mehhhhhhhhhh! C’mon, we’re talking about quick and dirty americanized chinese-food… it shouldn’t be that hard to get it right! The sesame chicken was soggy and over battered. Gross! The fried rice was flavorless and dry! Ugh! Plus, it looked super dirty inside. I’m not joking when I say that I have pretty low standards, but grime was caked everywhere. There’s no excuse for that. I had such high hopes for this place!

I want to give a 3.5. It’s decent fast chinese food. Egg drop soup is very good. The meals are average. I’ve had better. The price is cheap though. So that’s a big plus. Service is okay. It really depends– it can range from good service to rude sometimes. It’s not a place I crave to go to whenever I’m back at home.
