I asked Mango Milk«shaved» ice but all they did was take plain ice cubes and dump them into a blender. I kept telling her that this was NOT«shaved» ice. She said I should ask for«snow» ice and that’s the shaved ice I should have asked for and its more expensive. This is aweful! It’s like eating mangos over ice chips. AND they used sour mangos!!! Horrible place! Will not go back!

Seeing the other reviews I feel very confused because my experience at this place was fantastic. I ordered snow milk ice with mango and ice cream. Even without the ice cream it was amazing. It was great!

We couldn’t help but try this place out after eating 2 lbs of crawfish at Tasty Tails. We ordered the mixed fruit shaved ice and an almond milk. The shaved ice had 10 cups of ice and not nearly enough fruit. There was a drizzle of syrup the amount was comical. I would definitely pass on this $ 7 dessert. As for the almond milk, it was delicious! Opt for that instead.

A few months back I tried this place and didn’t like it. So last night I gave it a try again since my son wanted a dessert from that place and it was better than the last time. I ordered a strawberry shaved snow ice with red beans and it was good. It came with one scoop of favor ice cream and alot of small pieces of strawberry. You get to pick one favor of ice cream and one favor shaved snow ice. The lady helped us was nice and friendly. CASHONLY…

this place is the worst place i’ve ever been too! cap time! i ordered 3 drinks and pa for them. waited 15−20min and asked the cashiers how long and replied with sorry we’re busy wait! first of all he’ll no i’m going to wait that damn long for a drink and 2nd of all drinks are easy as hell to make! the really for the rawr of a review is cause everyone that ordered after me received there drinks before i did. back to the calm world bottom line is this place needs to learn how to set there priorities. this is why you have a pos system to help with order organizations! i asked for my refund! i really thought i would give this place a shot with 2.5 rating. never judge the book by its cover. but you can for this one time.

Never had their bubble tea and I believe that’s what most people complained about. I did try their shaved ice! Not once, not twice, but three times! It’s third times the charm, right? Anyway, every time I went it was with different people. First person to show me was a friend named Kevin and I fell in love with it! At the time, I still lived in Fort Worth so the drive was way too far for me to even want it THAT bad, but whenever I was in the area, I would try to find some of my girlfriends to go with me. The fruit was always fresh whenever I got them and the ice cream is so creamy. I love, love, love it! The only downfall for me would be that the ice would turn into clumps of ice later and I would end up chewing it like it’s ice which I absolutely do not like doing. Not a fan of sucking on ice or chewing on it. Overall, I would recommend this place if you’re ever in the Plano area! It’s inside the Legacy Food Court for those who do not know!

Located inside the Food Court. Use to order shaved ice here. Not too bad, but I heard the quality deteriorated. Saw that a lot of people order boba drinks here so I gave it a try. Ordered watermelon slushi with boba. I am so glad they use fresh fruit. I told them to make it sweet, but I think she forgot because it wasn’t sweet at all. Their boba was nasty though. I am spoiled by the sweet tapioca that Fat Straws have. The tapioca balls here are plain/bland. I actually drank it the watermelon slushie and spit out the balls. It’s not my to-go spot for boba, but maybe shaved ice if I’m craving dessert after eating at the Food Court.

I’ve had good experience here. I like the kumquat green tea with less sugar. Been back many times.

Really? We can do better than this. The«bubble tea» was a step up from bottled water. I’ve never had such a nasty drink. The service was on par with the drink. I asked for a tea with half bubbles and half coffee jelly, received a dumb look back in return. She eventually said, «no, we can’t do that». When I complained about the tea and asked for a different drink, she quickly said, «No». I would not get a drink from this place for free!!!

There are options in the area for ‘shave ice’ semi-nearby, but(as far as I’m aware) there isn’t much choice for ‘Snow Ice’. JJ Ice replaced ‘Big Bowl’, the dessert place in the ‘Jus Go’ Food Court. They have milk tea, smoothies, shave ice, snow ice & ice creams. I tried both a shave ice & a snow ice. They are large dishes, being served with ice cream & plenty of topping. They were sweet & flavorful enough. Neither of them held up well though. They were freshly shaved, as we watched them make it in front of us, however by the time they were actually given to us, they had both melted and frozen all together into a giant ice clump. As a result, both the shave ice & the snow ice had the same consistency & texture, and it was difficult to enjoy. Since there aren’t alternatives to JJ Ice in the area for Snow Ice, this is satisfactory, but I’ve just been spoiled by some quality stuff in the SF Bay area & Hawaii.

Not good!!! Where did Big Bowl go? I ordered a taro bubble tea and it was unfortunately the worse bubble tea I’ve had in my life. I’m Taiwanese so I’ve had my fair share of bubble tea in my life time from all over Asia and the US. The boba was mushy. They were extremely over cooked and disintegrated in your mouth after a chew. The tea was warm and tasted like water. I got purple warm water with brown gelatin. I asked to return it and the cashier said she can only replace it. Ok fine. I ordered a grass jelly tea since it does not contain boba. Again, it tasted like warm water. No more trying bubble tea anymore. At that point it’s clearly not a mix up rather than a lack of quality. I’ve also ordered the mixed fruit shaved ice. They gave it to me without mango and I asked if I could have mango as the picture clearly shows mango in it. The employee said that it was just a picture and I shouldn’t go by what the picture looks like. Uhhh what? So you’re telling me that your picture references are incorrect??? Why even have pictures then? Please bring back the previous owner from Big Bowl Shaved Ice. I am sad. UPDATE: They now have a sign that says«no refunds no exchange» hmm sketchy UPDATE2: I found out that Big Bowl and JJ Ice are the same owners. This person also owns Hakka Express. Hakka Express still has the same tasty food whereas they just happened to dramatically decrease their dessert business quality. What a shame.

USUALLY I go to Kings Noodle for Shaved Ice, BUT the fruits aren’t in season for them yet so I had to satisfy my craving at J J Ice. The portion is very big, I think it could be suitable for 4 people… oh and reasonable pricing. They have numerous flavors of ice that you can get and different toppings. Every time I’ve came here, there’s only one girl working so your order can take a while. Anyways, my last visit wasn’t as pleasant… the strawberries were a little on the sour side, but it wasn’t THAT bad. I guess strawberries just aren’t in season yet ALSO, I wanted a to-go cup, but it literally took 12 minutes to get one because this difficult lady in front of me was being a super B. I couldn’t believe she made the cashier re-make her drinks THREE times. like really??? get off your high horse. My little vent doesn’t determine the amount of stars I give this place at all!
