Oh, II Brothers, how you love to disappoint… and this time completely anger. Pretty much everyone who has ever opened a tab at II Brothers is aware of the twenty dollar charged fee. It is charged to simply assure that a patron has the means to pay their tab. No big deal, I get it, it falls off your pending account in three to five business days. This is where my recent issue with this establishment occurred. After a visit last evening, we checked our account this morning like we ususally do, this time instead of the usual twenty dollar charge, there were an additional five twenty dollar charges. This coming to a total of one hundred and twenty dollars on top of the paid tab and tip. Completely alarmed, I made a call to the bar and was greeted by an unbelivelably rude and unprofessional female who gave me the whole hold charge falls off run around and finally put me through to a manager. While I am very aware that these charges will fall off of our account my issue lies in the fact that my card was charged without my consent. Five times. The manager on duty did nothing more than give me the runaround also and tell me there is nothing he can do. While I explained to him that this is technically theft, he remained falsely apologetic and made the situation into a joke on my behalf. So, II Brothers patrons and future patrons, a word to the wise, always check your accounts. The untrained and extremely rude staff seem to be doing whatever they please at your expense.

I’ve dined here 7 or 8 times in the last year or so. It’s a great place with good food and a great happy hour($ 2.50 domestic drafts/bottles M-F). They handle large groups very well. I especially like their brunch on Sundays; great value and Shiner Bock is the same as Miller Lite during brunch for some reason(or maybe it’s been a fortunate mistake every time I’ve gone for brunch). They have a great kid’s menu with crayons and offer grilled chicken, which is nice, but my son is a little too young for the crowd and we were given the death stare by more than a few tables even after we voluntarily cast ourselves out to the gorgeous patio with live music(a win for us). There probably isn’t a place in Dallas where everyone is okay with a crying baby, so I can’t hold it against II Brothers.

Came to watch UFC199, had the best experience of watching an event in Frisco at a restaurant. Ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. Great burger, didn’t feel like a typical freezer burger, I think the patty was exceptional. Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had, they were crispy and meaty, just perfect. Thus this place has become my go-to place to watch sporting events, burgers, and sweet potato fries.

I was helped by Rachel. See was very kind, and helpful with suggesting items on the menu… She explained them well also, and made me excited to order each one. The food arrived quickly, and was delicious. My drink also always stayed full. Great service, great food, and a great time!

Best burger in the N. Plano/Frisco area — HANDSDOWN! They get their burgers from the butcher shop around the corner from them. You can tell the difference between a hand crafted burger patty and the frozen, Sysco hockey puck you get most places. Say what you will about other places, this burger is the best around!

Love the staff. Kellin always waits on us and she is great. Great chocolate martinis! Fried pickles and queso are so good.

They now showing UFC fights and Yay I’m happy that I don’t have to go to overcrowded twin picks of BWW to watch fight, eat good big wings and see barely dressed waiters(I’m talking about twin picks). We really love their wings, usually order to-go when we crave some buffalo wings :)

Went to two brothers last night, the ambiance is similar to an old TGI Fridays plus added pop art portraits of the owners. The server started sweet but slightly got more of an Annoyed attitude as it was ending my shift. I ordered the catfish and upon receiving my meal I noticed the fish looked a little undercooked but my other dinner mates didn’t see anything weird. I ate two of three fish sticks and within 45 minutes I started feeling a little queasy and promptly excused myself to the bathroom. Where I promptly vomited up my entire meal. I altered to the server and the manger about what had happen, asking them to check to the fish and make sure it wasn’t something bad. They proceeded to excuse my concern saying that three or four people had eaten the catfish and were fine. I still had to pay for the meal.

Had a happy hour here for about 15 people. Great to be able to make a HH reservation. Good atmosphere. Our team was seated a little bit to the side which was great because we were able to hear better. Service was good. No problem to get individual checks. Overall good HH place.

Great little dive. Live music and eats in the front. The food isnt bad. There is also an adult arcade area in the back. I usually go here when nothing else is going on and it is what it is most of the time. The sunday brunch here isn’t bad either.

I agree with previous reviews that the staff is not very friendly, but they were attentive. Food is better than most causal restaurants but waaay too expensive. Cheese sticks, wings, kids meal and turkey sandwich with drinks came in at $ 50 with tip. Crazy amount for lunch for a family of 3.

Nothing special, but not a bad place to have a drink and watch a game. Nice size patio. Have been a couple times and there has been live music. I wouldn’t come here for the food by any means. Have eaten here a couple times, and once for brunch. Nothing remarkable. And I would have thought for the quality of food you get, the pricing would at least match. The décor inside is what really throws me off. It is just all over the place, feels kind of grungy, and there is crappy sports stuff all over the walls. It’s really«busy» if you will. It’s not the least bit appealing to look at. So if the weather is nice, patio it is! Oh their fries are pretty good, I will give them that! Only real reason I come here sometimes is because it’s close to the new apartment… if there were other, more decent options, they would be last on the list. 3 stars fits it well.

This is quite easily the best bar I’ve ever been too. The servers are fantastic(Adam, Candice and Rachel are the ones that always stand out to me) and the food is better than any bar has a right to have! I go out of my way to eat here atleast twice a week. Varied selection, no really weak items. They usually have great drink specials(my personal favorite being $ 4 Whiskey night). It’s also Smoke Free, which is important for me since I don’t smoke. The separation of the Grill and the Bar means there is something for you no matter what your in the mood for. Especially on Friday nights. The Bar has a DJ and dancing, and in the Grill usually an acoustic act, karaōke or the jukebox. Also of note, I’ve never been to place where the management and owners go out of their way to talk to the patrons and remember them by name. Josh and Brad always give me a big hello when I’m in there. I will always go out of my way to visit II Brothers, it has slowly become MY bar.

This is the most, vile, disgusting place I have been to of late. We have been there a few times before because the owners are Texas Tech fans and it is a place we can watch games with local fans. Not anymore. The quality of food and, more so service, has fallen to disgusting levels. I tried to address the level of filth with some snotty female bartender. She basically laughed, shrugged, and told me to have a nice night. I then went inside to ask to speak with a manager. He was even more arrogant and dismissive. I would think as an owner and/or manager, that you would listen to the concerns of your customers and treat them with respect. Never going back there. Quite frankly, I don’t think they will be in business much longer. I wish I could add the photos I took to back up what I am saying. PS: first time posting on Unilocal,so if someone knows how I can share photos, I would love the help.

I’ve driven by here several times on my way to the Holy Grail. After trying the Drunken Donkey earlier, I thought why not.(Still on the fence about the Donkey… good wings though). After sitting down for 2 mins the bartender gave my wife attitude when she asked«what’s on tap.» We then looked around and I honestly thought I’d see John Taffers hidden cameras. After 5 mins the bartender came back with her(insert rude word) attitude and I just said«forget it» we’ll go to the Holy Grail. I’m writing this sitting in the Holy Grail(which is packed with friendly patrons) enjoying a great Odell Illegally Blonde(see what you get from a good bartender) and staring at a plate of gravy fries. If you’ve got any appreciation for a good beer and good food, stay away from this dump!

Not typically my venue choice for a meal, but I wanted a «Real» burger and Unilocal steered me in. I would give their BBQ burger a full 5 stars, and only knocked one star off my rating for the fact that it is a bar, bar. I mean, there were real live 2pm midweek full scale drinkers here. I think if I were to go again, I would probably order take out because the burger was cooked perfect, the fries were good… but it just totally isn’t my scene for a place to eat.

I’ve never eaten here so my review is solely based on the bar/nightlife. Fun crowd, mostly industry people from the neighboring restaurants. DJ on the weekends will keep you entertained and a band in the front area on some nights. You have to respect a place that has a nursing lounge in the ladies room.

I came here with the BF for lunch on a weekday. It was pretty empty(maybe 3 other tables) at 2pm. The waitress was a doll, and we quickly ordered the fried pickles appetizer per Unilocal suggestions. And they were GREAT! You could tell they were hand battered, and the seasoning was perfect. We devoured them quickly. I ordered the cobb salad, minus ham and plus steak. The steak was cooked perfectly(medium-rare), and was fresh off the grill. That was definitely the highlight of lunch. They still put ham on my salad(or was it turkey? it’s hard to tell with chopped deli meat). I just pushed it to the side and avoided it. The bf ordered the mushroom burger with fries. He said the burger was average, but his fries looked way over-fried. I tried one and it tasted soggy(weird?). They looked and tasted hand-cut, but the color was really unappealing. I’m pretty sure I had a better experience than the BF. Anyways, they have some good lunch specials, but we didn’t try them this time. We were definitely in and out within 45 minutes.
