I come in to get a table for 3 which the other party is not here yet. They are not busy but the manager refuses to sit an incomplete party. Oh really I say since this has never been an issue before. Hope the food more than makes up for the upsetting situation to not sit me while I wait. Guess I will not be having a drink at my table while I wait. Damn for treating a paying customer so poorly.

I purchased a groupon for Fin Sushi and it was well worth it. Paid $ 30 for $ 50 worth of Sushi. I have been here about 3 times now and would come again. The sushi is fine and they have the standard sushi options and they are taste fine. The price seems to be within range of other places in the area. I wouldn’t say the sushi was outstanding and a must taste. I enjoy it enough the service is fine and I would come again for lunch if convenient. I probably would not go out of my way to go or plan in advice to go. If I had guests visiting I would not take them here. Overall — I think this is a solid place. The reason for the 3 instead of 4 is that nothing was above and beyond outstanding and the price was not cheaper or better. I would come here again especially as it is close to my office and would recommend people come, but would not go out of my way to go.

Fantastic. The sushi is very good and there is a huge selection of rolls. The spicy seafood soup is the best soup ever. Im not even kidding, next time I come here Im just going to order 2 bowls of that soup. Not to mention they run a Groupon that gives you $ 20 off. Legit.

Always great food and service. The volcano was off the chain and the seafood soup was the bomb.

The food and service is great. My favorite must have every time I come here is the fried calamari. They use blocks of squid instead of the smaller rings. I always try different sushi and sashimi here and haven’t been disappointed.

I hate to do this to ya Fin. I am one of your biggest fans who frequents here at least twice a month. We came here last night to find out no more happy hour on the sushi. Bummer. But that’s okay we still ordered our usual Louisana Roll and Salmon Roll. They recently changed their menu’s and added pictures next to every roll on the menu. Which is a good and a bad thing. This means there is an expectation set for how the roll will look. We ordered the Fire Tuna Roll. It didn’t look anything like the picture and was really sloppy. Same goes for both of our other rolls. The crawfish was really chewy and tasted like it was fried days ago. It also boggles me that we have been frequently coming here for over a year, we sit at the bar top every single time and pretty much order the same thing every single time yet the same servers never remember anything. Depending on who is working, it’s usually the same 2 or 3 guys and I know they aren’t busy cause it is never busy. Yet they seem to be very forgetful about small requests ie: extra ginger and side of spicy mayo. Oh well. I’m not saying we won’t come back, but I am definitely going to try to find a better sushi spot to frequent! I’ll still give you 4 stars because I do love the ambiance of this place. And the quality of the fish is still good.

Did takeout from Fin the other night. Order was ready within 15 minutes. We ordered a pinky girl roll, california roll, spicy tuna and miso soup. Thought it all tasted really good. Price was in line for what I have paid for Sushi elsewhere. Will be going back.

I read Unilocal reviews about loud music, poor service and difficulty using a groupon before we went and started to have 2nd thoughts. The Groupon was a pretty good deal and they also had plenty of positive Unilocal reviews too so we decided to check it out. I’m glad we did bc our experience was nothing but positive. We went on a weekday around lunch. Once we got there I remembered that we had actually eaten here before and didn’t have any complaints. Service: everyone was was nice and helpful. We told the hostess that we had a groupon when she seated us. She gave us the menus but removed the menu with the lunch specials. I knew that you couldn’t use the groupon for alcohol or specials going in bc I read it on Unilocal so it didn’t bother us. Our servers were attentive. A female server brought us our Ahi Tuna Tower and asked if we wanted to take a pic before she prepared it.(We have eaten enough of them we don’t have to document the occasion but I appreciated the offer.) Our food came out in good time. Staggered so you don’t have everything all at once but we never had to wait on anything. We also had a male server who may have been an owner or manager but I am just assuming that. Both servers were friendly and asked about our baby. The music wasn’t loud to begin with but when our baby fell asleep the gentleman told us they turned the music down. It wasn’t bothering her but we appreciated the gesture. No problem getting drink refills and plates were cleared quickly. Food: We ordered an Ahi Tuna tower, philidelphia roll, crunchy munchy roll, spicy crunch roll, and tuna sushi(2 pc). Everything was good. Ahi Tuna towers are like the gateway drug of sushi. If you aren’t a regular sushi eater or just starting to venture from cooked to raw, this is a good choice. At any restaurant that serves these, you will probably notice many other tables ordering them. I think it’s usually considered an app but I like it so much I usually end up eating it as my meal. Of course if you do this, know you will probably end up having to share(but that is part of the fun right?) I ordered the crunchy munchy roll bc I saw several good reviews about it on Unilocal. Both the crunchy munchy and the spicy crunch roll have spicy tuna but the crunchy munchy was actually a bit spicier. I am admittedly a wimp when it comes to spicy so I only ate 2 pieces. It didn’t really matter bc I was so full by that time anyways. Other reviews had some negative comments about serving sizes. All of our rolls were good size as was the tuna. We ended up taking the equivalent of almost a whole roll home with us. Good for kids? Kind of depends on your kids. :) Taking a baby at lunch was no problem. Taking children who can stay seated at your table… sure. If you have a rambunctious 3 yr you constantly have to wrangle. probably not. So…food and service were good. Restaurant is clean. We didn’t have any problem with music or using Groupon. Maybe the music is louder on a Fri or Sat night but I can’t imagine they wouldn’t turn it down if someone asked them. We would go back, and I think the Groupon deal was definitely worth it.

Because of the Groupon, we decided to give this spot a shot. We went on a Friday night around 9pm and expected it to be empty but in fact there were a few other diners. The restaurant has a nice modern and clean ambiance, and although the dining room isn’t very large, they cleverly added shades between the tables to provide privacy. Service and food were impressive. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the sushi chefs to the end of the meal when we received our check, the staff was very attentive and prompt. We had chicken gyoza, 2 regular rolls and 2 specialty rolls and found the fish to be very fresh and the presentation appealing. Our overall experience turned out better than we expected. We’ll definitely be back.

Came here for lunch the other day. The restaurant itself is beautiful on the inside, the sushi not so much. They have sushi lunch specials. I was really disappointed with the California and spider roll. None had any flavor to them. I don’t see myself coming back and it’s a shame bc I work so close.

Came for happy hour where select rolls are 20% off plus drink specials. Ordered the tornado roll and spicy salmon roll. Loved the tornado roll! Crispy, spicy, goodness! Spicy salmon was good, but nothing special. Would come again, especially for happy hour 5−7pm.

The worst sushi I have ever had. Period. The roll tasted as if it had been reheated. Will not be re-visiting this restaurant. Wanted to select zero stars but unable to do so.

Great sushi, the chef is amazing! He explained every dish and the presentation of the food was outstanding! Learned so much on Japanese culture. The wait staff how ever was a bit too catering. It seemed as if they had eyes on you and waited for a empty dish to eliminate from the table, or for you water to be half way empty to refill. Which is great but at the same time I am there to enjoy a meal in peace. This would be a great date to take a potential someone to due to the fact that they have separate dining areas reserved for two.

Got a to go order! Miso soup, spicy tuna roll, Cali roll, spicy mini roll, chicken fried rice and yaki udon noodles. It was pretty good. I only rated it 3 stars because 1. It was to go and no Japanese delivery/to go ever gives extra ginger and wasabi when you ask and 2. It was to go so I can’t comment about the inside/service etc!!! Food: Miso: was good. Sea weed wasn’t too salty and tofu was good, but I wish there were more contents :(like Zenna sushi-they have amazing miso. Spicy tuna roll: was pretty good! Average but not something remarkable. But done right. And I’ve been to some sushi places that can’t even make a good shrimp tempura or Cali roll. California roll: very good! You know a sushi place is good by how they make their most basic — California roll Spicy mini roll: haven’t tried yet but will update tomorrow Chicken fried rice: it was good but a little dry. Maybe could have used some more soy? But the best fried rice I have ever had did not need soy sauce(Sake Toro in Frisco). But overall it was pretty good!!! Like I said, this place was good but that’s why I have it 3 stars. And depending on the service, it could have had 2 or it could have had 4. Anyways I’ll update later!

Came here for lunch a couple of times during the work week. Their miso soup is pretty flavorful. Fin Volcano(popular item) is pretty good too – and spicy! They have bento boxes for non-sashimi folks as well as chicken and udon for the non-sushi folks. Sashimi and sushi here are pretty decent. Sushi & roll lunch bento(includes miso soup and salad). Great lunch portion. Service is excellent. Very cute décor. Love the neon bar area too.

We went on Sunday evening with Groupon offer. Wife and I each had the tempura udon and shared the yellowtail heaven and caterpillar roll. Overall, this place is a 3.5 star place. Good deal with Groupon. Location: somewhat hard to find. In a little corner with a vertical sign that is difficult to read. Tempura udon: 2.5 stars. Disappointing for the price they charge. Soup base and content not memorable. Would not order this again. Yellowtail heaven: 5 stars. Really tasty! Caterpillar roll: 4 stars. Smaller sized roll compared to other places but great taste.

Very average sushi. Got the spider and eel roll and it was alright– nothing special about it. Wanted to try some of their«special rolls», but they’re so pricey. Service when I went wasn’t good at all– never came to refill our drinks and we only saw our server when she took our order. It wasn’t even that busy so I don’t know what the deal was. Feels like a nightclub in here too– super loud music, crowded seating arrangement, and dark. Not the ambiance I look for when eating sushi(which is why I’m not too particularly fond of RA Sushi that’s nearby either) I don’t think I’ll be back, which is a shame because this place is practically walking distance from my house. It’s one of those places I really wanted to love, but unfortunately Fin didn’t deliver on food, service, or atmosphere for me.

Shrimp tempura roll, fins special roll, spicy crunchy roll and one I can’t remember. All rolls, plenty served, were cut not too small nor too big. Maybe just a little bigger than I liked. Shrimp tempura roll, nothing special from any other shrimp tempura roll. It’s the boyfriend’s «I like to eat rolls». Fin’s special roll. Spectacular! I loved all the flavors making my tastebuds jump for joy. The salsa took this sushi over top. It’s not your normal finishing mayo touch. It’s something way better. Spicy crunchy roll. It was not up to expectations. Crunchy slices of jalapeño and cream cheese. This one tasted exceptionally better when it was super cold, ate it as leftovers the next day. Definitely plenty of crunch to the roll. The sauce drizzled was sweeter, it balanced the jalapeño and cheese very well. Can’t remember the name or taste of the last roll. –_– We were in on a whim from a groupon. Didn’t get treated any differently by using groupon. Service could use a little improvement. Waiter(s) took our drink orders and then came back to get our food order. More than one waiter asked us repeatedly if we needed drinks and if our order has been taken. Delicious! For a deal like this, I’ll gladly visit again for the Fin special roll and have a taste at some of their other sushi.

Overall I was very pleased with this little sushi gem. I’ve had much better looking smoked Salmon Sushi, however the taste was spot on. We ordered Edamame before dinner and it was served hot as it should be, but not over done. Plenty of sea salt as well. Again, I would say spot on. The Louisiana Roll was great with the fried crawfish. The spicy mayo added the right amount of heat. The Baked Salmon is a Cali roll with baked with salmon on top. Again the spicy mayo along with the addition of eel sauce added flavor and was my favorite of the night. The Crunchy Munchy Roll was fabulous. Spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and crab meat on top rounded out a perfect dinner. Some have said the service was slow, I thought it was just right as I don’t rush sushi and don’t want all the rolls at the same time. This is a great date night place should you want to bring someone special. All in all I give 4 stars as I have had a more experienced waiter and have had better sushi, but at more expensive restaurants. I’ll be back for sure!
