Originally was headed to MiDia but after being under quoted for wait time we left… we stumbled across Chuy’s. Waitress was nice but I wasn’t impressed with the food it looked quickly thrown on the plate, taco meat was greasy, chips were cold but the salsa was delish. I’m giving the 3rd star because my margaritas were potent, I hate sweet margaritas where all you taste is sweet & sour with a drop of tequila. I wasn’t impressed with the flavor of the food but I will consider trying again to try some of the other sauces.

The Big As Your Face Burrito is literally as big as your face and delicious. You can get a mini version if you don’t want to tackle the full size. The chips are very fresh and crispy with the servers keeping the baskets full with chip scoops. There are multiple rooms including The Hubcap Room with literal hubcaps hanging from the ceiling. The Main Dining Room is near the glassed in stand where people make homemade flour tortillas. The Bar is open seating with booths and The Art Room is like a sun room. There is also a fantastic patio when the weather is nice. Wonderful experience, good food, good service and decent pricing. A bit of Dallas trivia: Jessica Simpson used to love the Knox Henderson location of Chuys and would often go there when she was in town. Not everyone will agree with me, but I love Chuys. I’ve never had bad service, but Annette and Silvia are especially awesome. Managers stroll through the restaurant in a regular basis to keep close tabs on everything. If you’re craving TexMex this is your place.

So let me start by saying I love Chuy’s in Katy, TX. But this place was a disappointment. The quesadillas where like a child’s plate where the rice came as an adder. Huh? The giant fajita beef burrito smothered in queso– packed way full of retried beans with like 8% fajita beef. Come on guys! Seriously? The server even knew it when I asked. The wait staffer said they do that with all the burritos, that’s why she orders with no beans… are you joking? So, like, share the knowledge princess. The chips were normal, salsa was good, table was clean and we got seated fast for a Sunday(tip: go to the bar directly if you have a couple/three people. No waiting in line and you get the same food with TV. Mic drop.

Server was friendly, chips/waters were refilled fairly quicky, order came out quick and the food was fresh and tasty. Atmosphere was lively but not packed because it was after lunch rush and before dinner rush. Never been to this location but I was impressed. Keep up the good work!

AWEFUL experience. Went for happy hour at 3:30. Literally not a single customer in the restaurant. Had to find the manager to ask if I could sit on the patio and was told they couldn’t seat my incomplete party of 6… um there are no other customers?! Then we placed a to go order and it was never put in. The card was charged but the girl had to leave to get her child from daycare. The manager said she wouldn’t refund because the girl didn’t wait. We asked again for a refund and were told it was our fault bc we didn’t put the order in in time. According to the time stamp in the receipt it wasn’t put in until we asked where it was. Won’t be back. The female manager was rude and very unprofessional!

What can I say? Place is run down, Server was quite late in greeting us, the Food was less than stellar. I ordered my Enchilada with Hatch Green Chile as I had lived in New Mexico for 9 years prior and I get it is probably frozen and then thawed out but they were very stingy with the amount given. Beer Selection? What Beer Selection? I think Taco Bueno and Rosa’s is better and we only go through the Drive Through for both of those places. Only gave it 2 Stars because I understand that is is probably a great, economical place to eat if you have children but for some reason I expected more.

The first thing that catches the eye is the full of life, colorful and hip interiors. We requested to be seated outdoors. and the setting there is very quite and romantic. I ordered the bloody mary… and loved it! They made it with some extra pepper, just the way I like it! Their complimentary dip and chips are also great! The chili rellenos were out of the world!!! Fairly quick service and cheerful staff makes the experience even more special! Not too many vegetarian options…

I want to write a helpful, informative review here, but I cannot offer much variety. I can’t get over the chili relleno here. It’s so good that once I tried it, I can’t bring myself to order anything else. I can’t even clearly recall anything else I’ve eaten here because it is all eclipsed by the delicious deep fried goodness that is the relleno. I like the spicy creamy tomatillo sauce on the side so that the relleno can stay crispy. There are several filling options — I prefer the chicken. I *think* the chips are light and crispy and the house skinny margarita is good(especially at happy hour prices). I think the guacamole is fresh and tasty. But really, just try the relleno.

I normally love this place. I ordered queso to go. It was. $ 6.00. The size of the queso was the size of a side of ranch at wingstop. Next time I will sit at the bar and eat and get my moneys worth. Really Chuy’s?!

Came here for lunch after church and they had just opened. We were immediately seated and our waiter brought us salsa and chips. Husband order chicken flautas and I got the lite chicken combo that consisted of a soft chicken taco and a «chalupa» chicken taco. We also had a side of chile con queso. I love their salsa. It’s very tangy. The chile con queso had little chunks of chile in the queso which I liked. The consistency of the queso was nice and smooth. The husband’s chicken flautas were delicious. The outside was crispy and chicken was moist. The order came with 7 along with warm salsa, guacamole, sour cream, rice and beans. Lite chicken combo: soft taco– it was pretty ordinary. Lettuce, tomato, a little cheese and chicken. The chalupa that came with the dish was more of a tostada. It had everything the soft taco had except with jalapeños on top and the cheese was melted. I liked this a lot more than the taco. This dish also came with guacamole. Overall, the service was on point and food was good.

Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve found in Dallas. I ordered the chile rellenos with shrimp and it exceeded my expectations. The staff here provides the friendliest service I have received in Dallas as well. Also, we waited about 5 minutes to be seated 5 minutes to get our order in, and we received our food almost immediately. I’m truly overwhelmed with happiness from how delicious this place is.

It’s decent. With all the options in the area I“m not sure this is the best. But even with a crowded place, we were seated fat and food came out quickly. Service good. Try the fish tacos, they’re spot on!

Went here with my parents last week. We all enjoyed our food very much! We started out with chips, salsa, and my dads and my favorite, the white jalapeño dip(it’s incredible, be sure to request it). I got the beef fajitas which, as always, were delicious. The tortillas are always very fresh and soft yet firm enough to hold your food together, best tortillas I have ever had. I think I say that every time I eat there. The cheese is also very fresh and soft, which is actually pretty rare at Tex-met restaurants these days. My mom and dad shared a tortilla soup which they pretty much drooled over. They said it was the best tortilla soup they have ever had! A bit of spice to it and super flavorful! My mom got a salad and the lettuce and vegetables were, once again, very fresh and good. My dad and I both got an original Margarita and we both agreed that they were some of the best we have had. Overall, Chuys does not disappoint! The atmosphere and look of the restaurant is cool and different. A little loud, but still a great time. We had great service, as well. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some good Tex-mex!

Chuy’s is delicious! Came here with my mom and it was great. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. For drinks I had their strawberry margarita and it was wonderful. Their boasts about having the top margaritas is not all talk. For dinner I had their fajitas and they were great. The meat was well seasoned and the tortillas were light and fluffy. You could tell that the tortillas were freshly made in house. Overall great food, great service, great place! Definitely recommend.

Even though I live in San Diego I have such a hard-on for Tex-Mex! This place is awesome. I ordered the Boom chicka-chicka and it was so effing good. Two pulled chicken enchiladas with a spicy sauce, charro beans and cilantro rice. The chicken was tender and cheesy and the sauce had a good amount of heat! When you order takeout, they give you a ginormous bag of chips and they are those really good, paper thin ones. They also came with two types of salsa… a traditional garlicky one that had the perfect amount of spice and an even yummier one that was like a jalapeño cream. I can’t wait to go back!

Y’all, I have a confession. I frequent Chuy’s fairly often for two very solid reasons only: The jalapeño ranch dip and frozen lime/strawberry margarita swirl. After 1 margarita swirl accompanied w/chips, salsa and jalapeño dip I am usually full and don’t have room to eat an actual meal. But those 2 things and I am satisfied. Clearly I’m a cheap date… If I am feeling extra hungry and can muster the willpower to not eat too many chips, I usually go for the deluxe quesadillas. They are more in a quesadilla taco form. Which is cool too, I can dig it. Oh and their re-fried beans are the tits. I don’t know what they put in them that make them so good. But they are at the top of my favorite re-fried beans list. Friday and Saturday happy hour is pretty legit, with all you can eat chips, salsa, queso you want in the bar area. Butttttt it is usually stupid packed in there so be ready to stand around a little while.

I’m not a Texas resident but I am a frequent visitor and every single time I make a trip out here, Chuy’s is a MUST. For those new to Chuy’s, Chuy’s is a popular TexMex restaurant in Texas. They have a variety of items on their menu from salads, fajitas, enchiladas, to chile rellanos. I have tried just about everything and usually am left feeling stuffed(portions are HUGE). They are extremely vegetarian-friendly and happily adjust meal orders as their guests please(something I value in at any restaurant). Their house pico de gallo is very good but their creamy jalepano sauce that comes out with the chips is out of this world. Be careful to not overstuff yourself on the chips and salsas because I usually spoil my appetite for the main course. Chuy’s is a good spot for families and friends alike. Their drink menu is plentiful, service is great(energetic, Chuy’s-loving servers), and they are very VERY accommodating to their guests. This last time that I went to Chuy’s, I was on a diet and a little bummed that I was not going to be able to indulge like I typically do. I ordered a chile rellano thinking that was probably the healthiest item on the menu(next to salads, obviously). I had absolutely no idea that they would make the chile rellano unbreaded, but the waitress offered as if she read my mind. I was so happy about that. The meal was delicious, as expected. Go to Chuy’s when you’re starving and in the mood for some good ol’ fashioned Texas sized Tex-Mex food. You won’t regret it. =)

I have always loved this location. I tend to judge chains based on the customer service and their ability to consistently execute what they claim on the menu. This location is 5 stars because they are stellar at both. They are consistently friendly and their execution of their menu items is always on point. The food is excellent. The prices are very reasonable and the location is convenient. If I’m doing happy hour at a chain or a weekend lunch/dinner, Chuy’s is always on my list of places to choose from. Their salsa is delicious. The chips are thin, the way I prefer them. They have a broad drink menu and the food is delicious. I do admit that this is the kind of place where you have to know what to order in order to be fully satisfied and pleased with the meal. I suggest the beef burrito topped with the green chile sauce and choose the green chile rice over the standard Mexican rice.

This Chuys is amazing. I have been going to Chuys since the very first one opened. The chain is inconsistent in general. For example, the one in Round Rock is at best mediocre to terrible. Not here! Yeah management. I order veggie enchiladas, add chicken and sub deluxe tomatillo sauce, charro beans and green chile rice. It amazing! Sometimes the waiters get confused at my special order. Balty didn’t even bat an eye. Great waiter.
