I actually wanted to try the little place across the street with the high rating but found it closed(only open 12 – 3 on Sunday). Decided to stop here instead. I didn’t expect anything fancy and my expectations were met. I got a regular burger w/LTP, no cheese or onions. It was a pretty good sized burger, but I wasn’t loving it after the first two bites. The meat was a little bland. So I, uh, added a little salt and that actually made a big difference! I enjoyed the rest of my burger quite a bit. The toppings were fresh and curly fries were tasty. Doubtful I’d go out of my way to eat here again, but it served me well in a pinch. [Stop #12 in the Great DFW Burger Quest]

I haven’t been here in quite a while. I rate on the entire experience, not only the food. The food is good enough and the fries are about as good as you’ll find. No soggy limp fries here. I do believe my burger was made at the time I ordered it and they fry their fries in small batches so they are hot. The burger patties aren’t bad but are thin and get cold quickly — not juicy but almost greasy. I’m okay with the burger, but this is a really expensive meal for what it is. I paid close to $ 9 — add cheese and it’d be a $ 10 meal. This was a $ 6 to $ 7 meal and I might give 4 stars for that. For $ 10, the little things count — like a thin, greasy patty. I would have given 3 stars but if I’m paying this price, DON’T WATERDOWNMYDRINK. I know it’s tempting to make a little money by skimping on syrup, but I’ll buy my next burger elsewhere.

Customer service was okay. The inside looks old and depressing. The ice cream machine was making a humming sound that was piercing my ears. As for the food if you get it to go you should be fine. The chili dog was really good.

This is where you find the best chili cheese burger ever! I used to come here often when I worked at Academy. Now my breaks aren’t long but I still come here when I am not working. How do you not crave the food here! Spicy chicken sandwich is better than the one at chic-fil-a! Best place

Okay, either their prices have gone up, or most of the reviewers haven’t really been to a McDonald’s. I’m sorry, but $ 7.99 for a plain old burger, fries and small drink is absurd! I’d pay that at an actual restaurant, but not at a «McDonald’s like» fast food joint. Five Guys, Smashburger and In N Out all do what Burger Street does, but for less $. Yes, the gentleman who took our order was nice, the food tasted fresh, but it didn’t live up to the 4 star average, or the other reviews we’d read. The inside had fans with no blades on them and even with free refills you have to go up and ask as they don’t keep the soda fountain out for customers to use. Sorry guys, not in the top of my Burger Challenge list.

Burger street has been my favorite fast food burger in the DFW. I really feel this place is underrated & needs to be marketed better. Big burgers that are big on taste. Made fresh to order!

Honestly, better than expected. We were in need of a quick spot for lunch between running errands and didn’t want the usual fast-food fare. Was surprised to find 4* rating, so we tried it. The burgers were pretty good and service was fast — basically a step above McD’s /BK /etc… Notable that they did have a bit of a roof leak in the kitchen from the rain today, but I didn’t think that was a reason to knock their review down…

This place is hands down the best burger in town. They make your burger as you order especially the curly fries. I never had a bad experience and bad food here. The employees are courteous and they will sincerely apologize for the wait. I totally understand the wait because I know my burger and fries will come out fresh and piping hot! and not sitting for a long time on the hot line. And do not forget their .99c hotdogs all day. It’s not your ordinary hotdogs. It’s one of the best ones I’ve had.

If you’re not too picky about ambiance, décor, and overall aesthetics but want to indulge in a plain ol’ good burger, this place is for you. It’s basically a small fast food joint(with McDonald’s pricing) with great service. The toppings for their burgers are fresh, and the burger itself isn’t drowning in oil. I don’t usually choose burger joints as meal options, but Burger Street would be on my list if I ever needed a quick burger fix.

The inside(and outside) of this restaurant creeps me out. I’m not sure what sort of style the place is going for. There’s a weird clock outside(3 hours until I get a heart attack from eating too many burgers?). When you walk in there’s really no register, but a half door which doubles as a counter I guess. To your right is a lonely, dingy room with a row of tables with wooden benches. The paint is peeling off the ceiling, the mirrors are sort of faded looking, and there’s some overly ornate lighting fixtures. Lots of fake plants abound. When I go to a new burger place I always opt for the #1 combo since I figure it’d be the best way to compare it to the numerous other burger joints. The combo was about a buck pricier. So in the end was it better? Not much much. At least not by a dollar. It was just an average sized burger with mayo and ketchup, two rings of somewhat small red onion, lettuce, a few slices of tomato and that was about it. The fries were curly fries. They weren’t bad. Crispy on the outside and pretty flavorful. It’s just average.

Simply the best fast food burger there is. How ANYONE can like In-n-Out is beyond me. If they ate at Burger Street, they’d never look back! If you have never been here, you simply must try it. Always made to order, so they’re always fresh and hot off the grill.

Pretty tasty. Very fast service. Food was hot and good service. Not as cheap as let’s say McDonalds or other fast food but much better quality. I will try it again.

Disclaimer. My rating is based on very specific conditions. I’ve been going to this Burger Street location several times a month for past year now. I always only go for their sweet tea via drive thru. Such a great deal. Large(44oz) sweet tea for a buck. I always get a few large sweet teas with no ice. I can kind of get a sense of what an earlier review said about the idle cashier. Sometimes when I look in from the drive thru window, I could notice the staffers serving the dine-in customers kind of idling or chatting. But since those situations did not really affect me, I can’t rate based on speculation. Every time I go, I’m always greeted very nicely by the staff there. I think the owner there knows my face now having been there so much. They always give me my teas in a timely fashion. The one thing that stands out for me is this. There have been several times where I had to wait longer for my teas. The wait time has only been up to 3 minutes at most. Umm, that’s not long at all from my point of view. But the cashier would always charge me for half of what I ordered. So I usually get 2 large sweet teas and they would just charge me for one and apologize for the wait time. So I have no complaints so far with this location. The one faux pas that I could remember was one time they had someone hand me a sweet tea with the lid not completely secure. And she was holding it from the top so when she handed it to me, it burst in my hand all over my interior of my car. But, she apologized profusely and she looked like she was training so it’s hard to criticize someone when they’re still learning.

Underrated fast food. Yeah the food might not be served fast but that’s because it’s made to order.
