Awful experience, traumatized for life. I went here with my mother in law, they sat us in seats just to have us wait there for 20 minutes. Finally it is my turn and I had a broken acrylic, without soaking in acetone first she proceeds to stick a fake nail under a corner of the nail and rip it off. The nail tech then says that all my nails are lifting and she needs to remove all of them. As I’m yelling out in pain she continues on all of my nails to rip and with the acrylics come part of my real nail. To stop the bleeding she uses the file on my ripped half nail and then glues it. Worst pain I have experience for beauty. So now my nails are raw and red and she puts on acrylics, I will not be surprised if I end up with a fungal infection due to this. Disgusting and poor service!

I keep putting a review on here and they keep deleting it! Stop it! People have the right to know. I went here and got a nasty fungal infection on both big toes which I am still dealing with 2 years later. The employees do not disinfect any of the tools before using them. They also just rinse out the foot tubs after each pedicure, they don’t disinfect them. The only thing I’ve seen them do is add hand sanitizer to the purple block that they use for scrubbing your heels. Do yourself a favor and skip this place or else you may end up with an infection like I did.

This salon has been remodeled, and it looks very clean. They have new equipments, pedicure chair with new technology. The ladies here do great job, you don’t have to spend a lot of time to get beautiful nails. However, you may have to wait about 15′ when they have many customers. Personally, I think it’s ok to waiting for a good service. People here do care about customers and they always welcome walk-in customers even though it’s late. Also, they have many customers throughout the year. You will be happy with the service here, it’s worth the money :).

I agree with the other reviewer. This place is dirty and they take on way too many clients at one time. Instead of asking you to wait, or to come back later, they have you sit and soak for 20 or 30 minutes in a bowl of nail polish remover while they work on other people and the whole experience is rushed and unpleasant. One time, one of the staff asked ME to take off my gel polish myself. Umm, isn’t that why I’m going to a salon?! I stopped going when the nail tech, who was working on a girl with acrylic nails that had MOLD under them, tried to use the same clippers on me afterwards. Disgusting. Yes, the prices are rock bottom, but I’d rather spend $ 5 more at the newly owned Billy’s Nails up the street and get a clean, pleasant, beautiful looking mani and pedi. They are also open on Sundays.

I had a horrible experience here. The lady was pushy and rude. She kept nicking my fingers with the drill, which was the least of my problems. She then kept pushing for me to get a design because it racks up the price and I kept saying no and finally she said«just do it and if you don’t like I don’t charge«I reluctantly said fine and after the first nail I told her it was beautiful but I really didn’t want designs on my nails which she huffed and puffed about and then began talking to the nail technician next to her in a different language. I held my tongue and let her finish my nails and looked at the final results and there was polish all over my cuticles and a black fuzz On a finger. I asked if she could touch it up and hit the cuticles with nail polish remover to which she told me I was too picky… I went in to have a nice relaxing experience and walked out stressed out, anxious and with messy nails! I would not recommend this place! Especially with all the options in the area!!!

I will never go here again. My girlfriend I went here for mani and pedis. We called ahead and they said they had time, which they didn’t. We got there and their were three woman working and they were rushing around from person to person. I don’t go all that often for this and I expect it to be special and relaxing. My message chair didn’t work, my water that my feet were soaking in was cold, I barely got massaged and it was expensive. Never again!

Kim, Tina, Loan and the other ladies at #1 Nail do a nice job for a reasonable price. They are open on Sunday, which is a big plus for me. The salon is clean, spacious and comfortable. It is popular so it does get crowded. I often have to wait 10 minutes or so if I go on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. If you go earlier in the day there is usually no wait at all. It is nice to be greeted by name. They are friendly and do a good job even though they work rapidly. Their polish lasts longer and is applied more accurately than another place I used to go to. I tried the spa treatment the last time I went. Tina pointed out multiple times that they use expensive NuSkin products for the exfoliate, callous removal and massage. She spent plenty of time working in the lotions and using an electronic massage tool. It was well worth the extra $ 10. I have been going here for years and expect to keep returning.
