Seriously I have Eaton here dozens of times and every single time the chicken breast is moist and properly cooked. Most chicken express are poor in performance but this one is an exception. Good job chicken express!

Great chicken, sweet tea and service– this place really takes pride in their service and the way they treat people. I’ve never, ever had a messed up order, and they usually always give a couple of extra pieces.

Not only is this great chicken, but the owners are amazing people! The service is always spot on and the food is as well. Great place to eat in Plainview! Don’t forget the amazing sweet tea!

Stopped here for a quick bite on my way through town. I ordered the chicken tenders with the gravy and biscuit. Food was delicious. Chicken was moist and crispy. Gravy was okay, nothing special, but better than I expected for a fast food place. Biscuit was good too. However…about 18 hours later I woke up nauseous. My body was trying desperately to rid itself of the offending chicken. Vomiting, diarrhea, well… you know. Nothing good. Normally I wouldn’t be able to specifically point the finger at one item and say, «that made me sick!» but this time I could. After being in the car all day, that chicken was the only thing I ate all day. I raved about this chicken to anyone who would listen, but now I’m going to have to eat my words. Unfortunately, will never go back. Foodborne illness is NOT okay.

This place wasn’t around when I lived in Plainview and I’m glad because I might never have left. It’s chicken. It’s fried. Obviously, it’s Heaven. I have a confession. I love gizzards. I LOVE them. I wouldn’t touch them as a kid, but one of my friends took me to the Strip in Lubbock one time and got gizzards. He dared me to try one so I did. It was amazing. So, I love them and Chicken Express makes them for me, just the way I like. They bread ‘em, fry ‘em and serve ‘em to me quickly for a very affordable price. Their side dishes satisfy my country-girl cravings in a very nice way. I live in Northern California Wine Country now and sometimes I have an urge to eat starches drenched in butter. That’s apparently something that these fruit and salad eating Californian’s don’t really understand. They also don’t understand gizzards. I love this place because it tastes like home. Also, they are always adequately staffed. I don’t know that the staff is always very helpful, but at least there are enough of them.
