My husband and I stayed here for five nights. The front desk staff was consistently pleasant. The room was about what you would expect for the price – nothing special but clean. However, there were two negative issues with the room. The sheets were not changed on the third day, although that was their stated policy AND we left the card on the bed that is supposed to indicate you want a change of sheets. They were not changed. Second, there is some sort of weird heating/cooling system that does not keep your room at the set temperature when you leave the room. It was hot and humid each time we entered. Also, the fan ran 24 – 7 and was very loud. The maintenance staff seemed to be sub par as the soda someone spilled on the stairway remained there for two days until I notified the front desk. A continental breakfast is served and the quality is less than I’ve experienced at other hotels. The coffee was consistently room temperature. On only one of the five days, bacon – burned almost beyond recognition – was available. On the final day, the person in charge of cooking the food kindly said she would make some when I asked. As soon as it was done, she offered me some. When I stated that it was burned, she said only the bottom pieces – which she was serving– were burned. Seriously, she was knowingly serving burned food! Next time, I’ll stay at La Quinta even though it is a little more expensive.

Meh! One of my first disappointments When I went downstairs for breakfast it was 9:40am note that breakfast isn’t over until 10:00am. The eggs were all gone & I asked Lisa, the morning Manager, if she can place more eggs out for breakfast. Her exact word were«it’s 20min. till so I probably won’t be making anymore eggs» I didn’t say anything except just smiled and said ok and walked away, for the fear of her spitting in my eggs the next morning. But my thoughts were, sorry for being such an inconvenience when complying to your hotels breakfast time frame. The lack of customer service skill with this team is unbearable. On top of housekeeping only changing my sheets every 4 days. This wouldn’t be my first choice, I am stuck here for work purposes, but Cambria is right down the street!

I only stayed one night and it was just an average overnight stay. I didnt need or want anything special. The bathroom was clean, microwave and fridge in good working order, as well as the tv, clockradio, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron & ironing board. The beds were fabulous and so comfty I didnt want to get up, but that’s more a personal problem.

Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel! I had been staying in the lowest of low hotels recently and to finally get to this one was like a dream come true! Huge king size bed I swear I melted in. microwave and fridge available in room. Small living room area and very nice size flat screen TV. And free wifi!!! Unfortunately I had to leave scary early in the morning so I missed the complimentary breakfast. The only part of my stay that could be considered bad was that the TV/cable kept skipping. So it was hard to watch something when you’d miss part of the dialog. But it was easily over looked considering the internet was easily accessible. Would love to stay here again!

My experience was completely different than the other reviewers! I give this place 5 stars… everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations! It started like this… we arrived very late into Indy airport and arrived at the hotel about 2:45 a.m. The shuttle driver was sick but they said I could give the taxi receipt and they would pay for it. They did…$ 20 fee. The room was really nice as well! Flawless, excellent quality and very large and very comfortable king size bed. I asked for a 2 hour extension for checkout and they gave it to us too. Then breakfast… many hotels have lame breakfast but this one was an 8 or 9 out of ten! They had hot food which consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles with strawberries, and much more! We even had enough time to go swimming for a short while and the pool water was perfect! I will stay here again for sure! Evidently the prior reviewers were disgruntled for some reason and were bias or the hotel made significant improvements. Stay here! You will not be disappointed!

I don’t even know where to begin. The owner is a complete ass, he’s rude, not friendly and even treats his employees like garbage. Shuttle sometimes REFUSES to drive people to the store. The water in the entire hotel was off all night the first night I stayed here, then the fire alarm was going off at 12:30am. Washer/dryer were broken. Vending machines were broken. I had ordered pizza from Domino’s, I went to open the door and the lock fell off the door. Room was dusty. Tissue wasn’t replaced. Cologne got jacked from the maid. AVOIDAVOIDAVOID!!!

Shuttle is unreliable. Staff is slow if they are present at all. Breakfast food is low quality, stale and perhaps unsafe to consume. Beds are hard. Floors are dirty. Heater has an economy mode that guarantees your room will be freezing in the winter and sweltering in the summer months when you walk in the door. This also means your hard bed will be cold when you climb into it in the winter months. Reservations are constantly lost. Walls are thin. I’ll stop there. Avoid

This Wingate by Wyndam is the worst hotel experience I’ve had in 25 years. The owner, who also is the manager, yelled at myself and other guests for asking simple hotel-based questions. Absolute jerk. Also, room was dirty, continental breakfast was stale, supplies in room did not exist, and hotel shuttle left ten minutes early. Please, trust me, do not stay here or the Super 8 up the road(our friends were there). Cambria Suites nearby is the best.

I read other reviews from different websites about this hotel and they were not good. I had no choice but to stay here because I was here for a new hire class, and it was company paid for. First, when I checked in there was no receptionist for at least 30 minutes. Once she did arrive, meaning she drove to the hotel, she was quite rude, like she didn’t want to be there. Now this is the same type of reviews I read on other sites. My room was not cleaned daily, and my dirty towels were placed back on the towel rack. I will recommend to my company to not use this hotel again.
