This is my first visit to the Castle. I have had the supermarket version of the Castle sliders before my visit. This is a first on a few fronts. Sorry to say the supermarket version is much better than the restaurant version. I ordered combo #2, which is two double cheese sliders with fries and a coke. The taste wasn’t what I expected, and the presentation was awful. I ate at the restaurant and I can hardly imagine the poor folks that come through the drive-thru with miles to go before the unveil there soggy meals that barely stay together when they’re removed from the mini White Castle cardboard facsimiles. I decided to eat in the dining room to ensure freshness and to take in the atmosphere. The place is clean. That’s the good part. Burger are dismally disappointing. The double cheese come with three bun Mc Donald’s style, but that where the similarity ends. The burger are much thinner than expected, the cheese doesn’t taste like cheese, the onions have an artificial onion soup taste, and the fries are inexcusably bland and soft. For price comparison to other competitors White Castle loses. $ 6.09 for the #2 combo. Wendy’s, Burger King and Mc Donald’s all have combo of the same content for $ 4 plus tax. Try White Castle at least once but for your daily driver meals stay with what you know. White Castle is a «Don’t Keep»

I use to love White Castle. I never lived near one so every time I took a trip I’d try to find one on my route. I stopped by this one going from OHIO to MISSOURI. The Burgers were gross, I couldn’t believe how horrible they were. I ordered six thinking I was going to enjoy them and only ate two. I should have made a complaint to the manager but I was so grossed out I just wanted to leave. Lucky for me I found a Culver’s not too far down 70. Because of this, I’ll probably never eat White Castle again. I see a lot of positive reviews so maybe they had an off day or something, but still, I don’t see my going to any others ever again.

They really did it up right for Valentines Day! They catered to the table and it felt like another restaurant and not White Castle! They had menus and candles on the table. It was a lot of fun!

In Indiana White Castle, known for the tiny little onion burger in a box– also called a slider– has table service and reservations on Valentine’s Day. We went! We have been to some of the finer dining places in this state but I will say the amount of fun we had at this fast food turned full service was unbelievable. The atmosphere was light and fun, employees into their jobs. We met some fun couples who say they do it every year because it’s just something unusual and fun. I would do it again!

Five stars for the kid in the drive thru with the rockstar personality. Other than that, it’s White Castle. The thing about these fast food chains is they are pros at making them all the same.

It’s a white castle which pretty much means greasy burgers and fries. It was the normal kinda slow service and so so food that I would expect. Much like long John Silvers I can only take it once a month or so, but it’s tasty going down.
