Unlimited Tan

Great staff!!! Absolutely love the beds. They have a UVB bed that is amazing. I felt like I was at a day spa. I highly recommend this location!!!

I have been tanning here for about 5 years, and I have always tanned here because they had nice beds, it was clean and the staff was friendly and pleasant to talk to. When I run in on my lunch break from work, they would always know my name and not push sales at me, exactly what I would want on my break! Within the last few months however I have noticed drastic changes with the staff, the attitudes, their business practices and the salon in general.
It all started a few months ago when I had a run in with a very bad-​mannered employee. She was very pushy, rude and unpleasant to deal with. I of course asked when the manager would be in so I could discuss her attitude with them. Well imagine my surprise when I found out she was the manager. Things have only gotten worse there since.
I understand as a tanning salon there is a lot of turnover, that is to be expected. But I feel that every time I go in there it is always a new person working or the horribly unfriendly manager that I dread seeing. They won’t look you in the eye, just coldly ask your name. They don’t ask how you are just push today’s deal at you. When you try to be polite and say you’re not interested they get even colder and simply say «your in bed…». It doesn’t make you want to buy anything, that’s for sure.
I have seen an older person in there a few times and I remember thinking «oh good, maybe it’s the owner and their addressing the bad staff». The person proceeded to tell the young girl in front of me that she should try a sticker on her hip so she can see how her tan is improving. It was completely uncomfortable and if he was talking to my teenager that way, I wouldn’t let her tan there anymore.
I have also noticed changes in the salon’s appearance in general. Everytime I go in there the floors are dirty, there are fuzzy’s and hair everywhere, there is tanning lotion all over the walls of the rooms and the bathrooms are filthy. I don’t even like going in there to wipe my makeup off. Then, a few weeks ago they started redecorating and I was excited to see the new changes. Well it has been over a month and the only changes I’ve seen are some shelves taken off the walls and they put up these horrible frosted glass doors. They make me so uncomfortable I feel like everyone can see in my room. I wish they would have instead used that money to hire some better management and employees.
I usually don’t complain this much on here, and I know it’s not fair to make these comments about their «whole staff» — again, I haven’t met the whole staff, this is just what I have seen from the ones I’ve dealt with personally. I can tell you though that I have cancelled my membership now after 5 years of loyal patronage and will be finding a new tanning salon. Even if I have to pay more, I believe it will be worth it to not have to deal with the dirty salon and the unfriendly staff.
