Pure Concepts

I just visited Pure Concepts this evening, and have to give them high praise! Hope was my stylist, though she is fairly new to the salon, she did an amazing job. The rest of the stylist were very eager to answer questions and lend any advice they could. I’ve been to a Aveda salon in the past, and alway felt pressured to purchase products or extra services, not the case here. Pure Concepts is not only beautiful but very inviting!

I had previously written a negative review about Pure Concepts Salon in Carmel due to a negative experience, but I wanted to share how pleased I am with the follow up I received from Jackie, the salon owner. She sent me an extremely kind email to apologize and offer me a full refund after the misunderstanding. She took the time to personally reach out to me and remembered who I was from when I came in almost a month ago. That shows excellent customer service and I will definitely recommend Pure Concepts to my friends in the area! Thanks, Jackie!

Love this place! I have extremely curly hair, and after years of looking for a salon and hair stylist who could a. handle my hair and b. have a creative vision of how to style my hair, I am absolutely ecstatic about Misty Day and Pure Concepts! She knows curly hair and is so talented! I 100% recommend going to Pure Concepts and scheduling an appointment with Misty. Amazing!

This year for Christmas I decided to forgo traditional presents for my grandmother, as she’s getting older and doesn’t need a lot of ‘stuff’. I gave her a ‘girls day’ — where I could come in from out of town and take her to get treated and create a special memory for us.
I called Pure Concepts and booked appointments for Grandma and I, and the employees went above and beyond to ensure she had an amazing experience. She grew up during the Great Depression and had never had an ‘extravagance’ like having her nails done before.
Our technician was super friendly and accommodating, and everyone at the salon made sure to help Grandma get from front door to the stool, and bathroom — she has a little trouble walking.
She felt SO special to have her nails done and someone focusing on her and making her feel good for a good 45 minutes or so. The price was fair, and I’ll never forget our special day together. Thank you so much!

This place is amazing! Great service and relaxing atmosphere. If you want to get the most out of your visit and come out with an awesome haircut and color, then go to Misty. She is knowledgeable and creates a cut and color to fit you. This place is a must when it comes to hair!

I am so happy I found this place. Every experience has been great. The staff is always friendly and professional. My stylist, Chelsea, actually listens and gives me exactly what I ask for. Add the cucumber water and their amazing scalp, head and arm massage and you will want to book an appointment every week! Best Aveda salon I’ve been to.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and highlighted here for a little over a year and have loved my every experience. I schedule with Jackie, the owner, or Natalie who both make customers feel spoiled. I know that the other employees are also welcoming and skilled. Relaxation takes over when you enter the spa-​like atmosphere and receive those phenomenal complementary scalp, neck and hand/​arm massages. I highly recommend this Aveda salon.
