Very nice rest area. Plenty of picnic tables and places for animals to stretch their legs and do their business. Very nice information center so you can go in and use the restroom and learn a little bit about the area that you’re in. I love it

It was the Eastbound side, although not noted elsewhere. Nice large area, clean rest rooms & large truck parking area.
Do have to watch for those truckers, who might run over you though.
Was pleased to see how big & nice the space was.

Macomb County, MI
Last rest area before Indianapolis on eastbound I-​70, along the Blue Star Memorial Highway.
This rest area is old, the building and grounds are well maintained in spite of age. The parking areas can get crowded, especially on holiday weekends.
A sign of the times, perhaps, is that all of the vending machines in the little out-​building have a metal gate protecting them from vandalism. You have to reach through the gates to make and retrieve your purchase.
