Neil Gates Photography

Neil Gates did the photography for my wedding at Seven Bridges Golf Club on 9.12.15. He did such a wonderful job. He got the pictures to us three days after the wedding. He didn’t make us pose too much. I was really worried that this would happen. He listened to my concerns about posed pictures in the interview. He took lots of natural shots that I loved. We ran a little late due to issues with our shuttles. He stayed later then his contract to capture the first dance. He did not charge us extra. He was also so nice to our guests and everyone really enjoyed him. His prices are very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend him!

I am a member of the Community Career Center (CCC), a non for profit organization that assists members with job search workshops and resources in Naperville. They have been an invaluable during my job search. Kim, Becky, and the entire staff are AMAZING! I say this because they think of every advantage one needs to search for a job effectively, and finding Neil to provide head shots for our LinkedIn profiles and handbills is no exception. Neil is PHENOMENAL!!! Within ten minutes he took about 12 photos and we had 4 that were GREAT!!! Of course there was one FAVE that we both agreed on. He not only is the BEST professional photographer, but also, kind, personable, and genuinely cares about the mission of CCC. My friends at CCC who have seen the profile photo Neil and I chose, told me I look FABULOUS! My jobs search coach loved it as well and I already gave him Neil’s contact info. I don’t like looking at photos of myself, but I LOVE this one. He captured a friendly, natural true essence of me. I am BEYOND THRILLED!!! Neil. Is. Awesome. Simply put.
He photographed my recent wedding and I have zero complaints. My now husband and I found Neil through a google search, his website looked okay so we set up an appointment. We meshed well with him instantly, he is very open about you being sure he is the right photographer for you and your event and we knew we wanted to hire him. On the day of he showed up early and even stayed a bit longer than his contract. He helped keep me organized to ensure the wedding photos were seamless, and it helped a ton! He tried out a few ideas I sent him and came up with some great ideas of his own. The best part is, we received our digital files the day after the wedding… who does that? I’ve heard horror stories with my friends taking months to get their wedding pictures and we got ours within 24 hours, and they look stunning! I was blown away. Neil was incredibly affordable, personable, and his photos really do speak for themselves.

His pricing was untouchable with every other photographer I looked into and his work well exceeded the cost he was charging. I received all my wedding photos within 2 days when no other photographer could provide them for weeks. The photos came out beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. He was able to capture every moment. Being a good photographer takes more than owning a nice camera. It requires technical savvy and artistic talent. Neil Gates has both and he is a truly gifted photographer.
