The latter category isn’t sufficiently descriptive; this contractor specializes in building decks, patios, planters, etc.
This review is WAY overdue… exactly six years ago, we had Mike build a wooden deck on our terrace (yes, we are one of the very few/​incredibly fortunate people to have a terrace in Manhattan [we don’t care if otherwise we have a small apartment; we bought it for the incredible view and the terrace — but I digress]). The original brick floor of the terrace (ca mid-1950’s) was falling apart — and rather than replace it with more brick, we chose the less-​costly route (but I’m not going to lie; it was still pricey. However, terrific workmanship and high-​quality wood aren’t a bargain). Mike did a *great* job! He’s also very good-​natured and responsive.
Then; 2 ¾ years ago, we had Mike build nine large (wooden/​cedar) planters for the terrace and a large (wooden/​cedar) storage closet. He also installed drip irrigation to the planters, spigots to the planters (which run under the deck) and a battery-​operated timer. As with the deck, we’re *very* pleased with the work.
