The ice cream was fine but honestly I don’t know how this place has just great reviews. The service was HORRIBLENESS. There were 4 people behind the counter but only one person, who sounded like they wanted to kill themselves, was completing all the orders while the other just chit chatted. Thank god they don’t physically make the ice cream otherwise that probably would have been terrible too.

I have no complaints at all about the ice cream, what I got ordered was good. But the staff was terrible. I received my stuff after someone else who came in(I ordered a cake cone with chocolate ice cream), and they sounde like they want to kill themselves on the spot. I get it, you hate your job, but you could at least try to act like your isn’t over.

Great location. Friendly staff. Tasty treats! Cakes there are great and food is consistently good. Exactly what you expect from a DQ location.

Would be 3.5 stars… I come here sometimes, and never had a major issue with the ice cream at all. At my most recent visit, however, the service was much slower than what I usually anticipate whenever coming here. I have to admit — ever since this place was remodeled, it looked a lot nicer and cleaner, which was good.

They drove«Curves» gym next door out of business! Having a McDonald’s, a White Castle, a Burger King, KFC, and a Wendy’s, plus two pizzarias and a bakery, all within a block, helped, too. The fatties in this neighborhood know what they want, and it is not physical fitness.

Five stars for a chain ice cream place?! Have you ever had a Blizzard? «For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don’t believe, no proof is possible.» –Stuart Chase The Blizzard is basically the same thing as a Friendly’s Cyclone or a McDonald’s McFlurry. …except that it could not be more different. The Blizzard stands head and shoulders above all challengers in the frozen, blended, non-milkshake, ice cream-based dessert category. I realize that’s a pretty narrow category, but it’s better to be the absolute best at something very specific than to be pretty good at a pretty broad trade. Dairy Queen is just that.

I did finally try this place a couple of times. The peanut buster parfait was excellent although don’t think it’s worth $ 5. I also went in another time to get a pint(or quart?) of cookies & cream. I think I paid $ 9 for it. It was good, but would probably get more for my money buying cookies & cream at the grocery store. Dairy Queen used to be rather inexpensive. I think they are overcharging a bit now.

I am giving this store a top rating because the help is superbly trained, the owners are wonderful people who do a lot for the community. The ice cream is great like all Dairy Queens. Sometimes it is much more then just what you get out of a ice cream experience that is important.

Hilariously shares a strip mall with«Curves!» Gets three stars for ironic location combined with proximity to White Castle.
