Amenity Moving & Storage

I called another very well known, chain, moving company for our local move first. They didn’t work out (they kept changing prices and date of move) so I called Amenity moving and am so happy I did!!! I called less than a week before our move and they were able to get us in around the day we wanted.
The day before the move I called them to confirm and ask a couple of questions. The gentleman I spoke with was very professional and helpful. He also confirmed they’d be there between 8:30 — 9:00.
The morning of the move they showed up at 8:45 with 4 guys. They worked their butts off for 2 ½ hours at our 4 bedroom house, drove the 2 miles to our new house and had everything put away in 2 hours. They were careful and were even able to put a very large, heavy, awkward piece of furniture on our second floor!
The total for our 4 ½ hour move was $ 775! I was told by the other company it would be around $ 1600 so I was ecstatic when they gave us the final number!!!
I would absolutely recommend this company for anyone looking for a local mover.

Amenity helped us move recently and these guys were amazing! They moved all my big furniture out for us on our house we sold and then stored everything perfectly in our storage unit! I then used them to empty our 10×30 storage unit and deliver it to my new house. They were great and moving quickly! They even put our tables back together for us. They had to move a 380lb gun safe into our basement and didn’t even charge us extra. Even when you book and talk to the office they are very friendly and help with whatever you need! I would recommend them to anyone moving! Thanks Amenity for a smooth move!

I’ve used Amenity twice now for my past couple moves and they are nothing but professional. They even showed up a few minutes early than the scheduled arrival time. Mike is great and is a pleasure to deal with. Always friendly with a smile on his face. The crew is just as outstanding. Very professional and fast. They have came in under the estimate cost too! And the best thing is they don’t charge a travel cost! I know a reputable moving company in area charged a one time fee of $ 175! Not Amenity! I would definitely recommend them to friends and family in a heartbeat!

Emailed, and called twice over the past 2 weeks. Never heard back from anyone. Guess they don’t want our business. :(

Mike and crew were fantastic! They arrived on time, worked hard, were extremely polite, and took great care with our belongings. I was never concerned that anyone was slacking while on the clock. They even went the extra mile to hoist a piece of furniture that otherwise was not going to fit into our town home. And to top things off, Sandy’s quote was spot-​on. The final bill was slightly under budget, which was a pleasant surprise.

I’ve had a lot of moves in 40 years and Amenity is head and shoulders above the competitors. Family owned and family run. Every one couldn’t be nicer. They even washed their hands prior to handling furniture. Now, who does that?

You won’t find better service anywhere else. Mike and his crew are outstanding — extremely patient and very careful with large heavy furniture. Honestly I was expecting some minor damage to walls, doorways, etc, but Amenity moved everything without a trace. The guys actually care about your belongings and your home. Their pleasant attitude is also a huge plus. Scheduling was very easy and pricing is reasonable.

Very professional during the scheduling. On moving day, they had a professional crew that moved the furniture better than I could have! They were finished two hours ahead of schedule. The foreman on the job (Mike) was a pleasure to deal with.

Used Amenity to move my mother from her large home into a duplex. They arrived on time. They were extremely pleasant and helpful. They were also very careful with some large fragile pieces of furniture. They final price even came in a little under the estimated cost. We were very pleased with them and would definitely recommend them!

What a great company! From the first phone call through two semis of stuff moved (yup, two), Amenity was a pleasure to work with. When I got sick the week before the move, Sandy and Sarah came to my house to help with packing. They calmly came in and took care of everything! The moving crew was efficient, helpful and pleasant to deal with. All our furniture arrived safely and ended up where it was supposed to. I hope I don’t have to move again any time soon, but would not hesitate to use Amenity again! Highly recommended.
