Super Nice Sales Associates/Cashiers/Baggers… ALWAYS helpful, here. Each employee you come near asks if you need help, and if you do, they’ll take you to where it is and/or help you find it. I have even needed assistance over the phone, and it was a great experience, and they had what I needed and gave it to my friend that went by there for me. I like this stores customer service,(their prices are a tad high, though, sorry)

I am so frustrated. Ever time I go in to buy something especially on an ad they never have it. I am so done with them. They like us to shop local, and I find my self going to Folsom.

Went in to shop for the first time and it was my last visit to this store. I find it frustrating that a store of this size doesn’t carry fresh mozzarella in water. Yes, they had mozzarella, but there is mozzarella and there is fresh mozzarella, there’s a difference and only one variety can be used in caprese salad(tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella). So, after getting the other items on my list and looking high and low thru this store for fresh mozzarella, I had to check out and go across the street to Safeway to finish shopping. Needless to say, from now on, I will simply go to Safeway from the start. If you’re going to have a «supermarket» across the street from a Safeway, where you can earn rewards in the form of gas credits, you’re gonna need to compete and carry all of the items that Safeway carries, plain and simple.

I like this store and do most of my shopping here, although they don’t have the best produce department. The employees are great and the store is clean and well organized. Certain times of the year, the onions marked as «Sweet» onions that also cost the most are hotter than plain yellow onions. Many times I’ve gotten apples or oranges that were inedible and I’m talking 3 out of a bag of 4 were bad. They would be better off to not carry the items at all so shoppers would choose a different variety or fruit. But I still shop there because I think the prices on all the other items are lower overall than Safeway across the street. If you’re willing to go to several stores to get the best deals, then you can just buy produce elsewhere. Food for Less has fantastic produce and prices on produce, but it is a few miles out of the way for those living in Placerville, being in Cam Park. I do think this store would be improved by having enough personnel to check on freshness and quality of perishable items much more frequently. But does any business have sufficient personnel these days?

Yuck. Got the worst food poisoning of my life from a sandwich in the prepared section. Hadn’t gone back in a couple years but decided to give it a try last night. Went for a specific dip that I’ve gotten at the Save Mart on Broadway. It looked terrible, like it had already gone bad. Avoooiiidddddd!

On our way to S Lake Tahoe for my sister-in-law’s wedding we had to make a pit stop for an energy drink for my hunny and bathroom for me the kids & I. Save Mart was the closest off the exit. The store is very clean and organized along with the restroom. I forgot to pack a bar soap so I browsed their aisles and picked up some soap. They still carried L’Oreal kids shampoo that Target, Walmart & other stores stopped carrying and it was on clearance. Score!
