My new hang out place for dinner every night. Price is good, food is amazingly fresh & healthy and tasty at the same time.

Spicy Chicken Breast Bowl is on point! I also recommend any of the combos. The portions are very generous! My go to post workout meal.

This is my go-to place when I cannot decide what to eat because I am never disappointed with Yasai! As simple as it is, I am never disappointed with the salmon salad! I’ve sampled majority of the sushis they serve, all tasted pretty good. One item that I tried that I found especially delicious was the spicy fried rice. Excellent customer service at this location. My recommendation is that if you plan on placing a to-go order to call in because during peak hours you may have to wait for a bit to get your to-go order. I’ll definitely continue to support this restaurant. The menu is good, the prices are affordable, and the food tastes delicious!

Super easy for take out and I love the variety and freshness the f their food. For takeout they always make sure you have everything even down to a container for the soy sauce. It’s convenient and you can always trust they include everything you need.

My husband and I come here at least 3 times a week. Spicy chicken bowl, salmon bowl and tempura are our favs! Food is always hot, fresh and fast. My husband is not a sushi fan, I am and for quick sushi it’s awesome. Employees are always so friendly and I’m pretty sure they know my order even when I call in. A must eat!

Came here for a quick lunch, fast service. Loads of salad with the sushi. Medium priced $$ Fresh food. They were out of spicy mayo and soy sauce? Great customer service.

I’m thoroughly impressed with this place. I’ve had worse sushi at over priced Japanese restaurants. For a fast food place, it’s pretty tasty and inexpensive. I like that the teriyaki plates come with a vegetable kabob, it really brings out a lot of flavors. The miso soup has the right amount of sodium — not too salty. Their salads are pretty good too. I’ve always ordered to go and they had it ready each time I walked in. Friendly service :)

First time here. Saw it on the way to work. Quality food at a good price. Got the # 18 combo. Lots of salad and the veggies were great. I like how they put the rice on the side and give you salad. Will be coming back

Literally like my new favorite place right now! I’m definitely trying to eat healthier & their salmon bowl is amazing! Plus it’s not like a bowl you get at flame broiler. It’s huge! you get a little salad on the side & they give you extra sauce without asking! but even better… it’s less than $ 6! They a ton of selections there & I will be definitely going back to try more of what they have! :)

One day at work I was thinking what to have for my lunch break and I had to put some thought to it on my options because, I’m no fan of fast food chains around the area. When I got inside this place its roomy and is a bit wider. Walking up to the counter all you can see is a pool of salad. I guess that’s why they name this place«Yasai» it means Vegetables in English but thats not all what their about, they have meats too. I love spicy so I went for their Spicy Chicken plate. It’s chicken breast topped with green onions, sesame seeds. The spicy sauce has a medium flavor marinade to it, the added vegetable skewer was my favorite part. My least favorite is that it’s oily at the bottom of the plate, but that didn’t ruin my meal. The rice and salad that comes with the order were really good portions. They came in separate containers. I couldn’t finish the rice it was a lot and I was more busy with the salad, which tasted like Chinese salad. Everything was really good, delicious and healthy. At $ 6.49 I felt I got more bang for my buck than the Flame Broilers across the street.

I walked in to pick up an order. The guy at the counter was picking his nose in front of me and then he hands me my food! He never even washed his hands! How disgusting! Twice they have left items out of my bag and another time the guy had to run to my car because they forgot to give me a bag. They tie the bags crazy-tight so it’s hard to check your order. It never used to be like this before. Has the owner or management recently changed? I’m sad to lose a favorite weekly dinner stop but this is unacceptable cleanliness and customer service.

My mom and i came probably around here 830pm. I’ll admit the udon soup was pretty good! The atmosphere was good too. However, the tables were dirty. Not really great service either. As my mom and I sat down waiting for our food, we saw the woman who was on the register doing snapchat videos of herself and the staff behind the counter. Also taking pictures and using her phone in front of all the customers to see. The staff from the back then started throwing things at each other and she ran back there laughing and carrying on. Also chasing each other like they were in elementary school or something. Completely unprofessional. We totally saw why things weren’t clean and in the middle of all of this, they kept a customer waiting at the register who was ready to order. Great food but not really great service.

We ordered take out. We arrived as usual our order was ready to go. We drive all the way home to Yorba Linda. We open our food and, wrong order. Upset my wife calls and explains what went wrong. The person on the phone said to bring it back they will fix the problem. So my wife drives all the back. Our corrected order(which was discussed over the phone) was not ready. She was told it would be a half hour due to there are other orders first. No sorry lets fix this right away. Then the lady at the counter didn’t want to refund the purchase right away. For mediocre Asian food we will not be going back there again. Buyer beware check your order before leaving. That means opening the bag they tie very securely.

I love coming to this place when I’m craving sushi and limited on time. Their prices are a lot cheaper than what you’ll find at other Japanese restaurants and the service is quick! I’ve only gotten the crunch roll here but it was really good, not as great as others but it did the trick. Their rolls come with salad and miso soup which I have always found to be delicious. This place is definitely the spot to go to if you’re looking for sushi on a limited schedule. It usually gets busy around lunch time but even then the wait isn’t terrible.

Love coming here. Service is great the food is fresh and abundant. The salmon is always cooked perfectly. Some places they over cook it and it gets dry but yasai does a great job

Out of the billions of teriyaki places out there, Yasai isn’t that bad. I only ever get Chicken breast of beef bowls. And every time it comes out nice and hot and has a lot of flavor. Honestly getting a plate is considerably more and you get a few more veggies so it’s not really worth it. Rule of thumb is to never get sushi at an Americanized teriyaki chain. It’s like going to Panda Express and expecting them to have good Chinese food. Or Chinese food at all. Usually I phone ahead and service is pretty fast. Unfortunately I’m always busy so I need to grab my food and go. A couple times it took a little longer than usual but I it’s okay because these things happen. I’m torn between giving three and four stars but I’ll give them the benefit since I haven’t actually tried their sushi.

Where to begin… Last night the manager on duty blamed my Mom for his mistakes. **bravo Mario** Thanks for the service buddy. Someone of your intellect should really be an engineer or surgeon. Possibly the worst service I’ve ever received. This place makes it hard for me to stand behind fast food employees making more than minimum wage. They mess our order up every time my family and I order here. And when we have to drive ALL the way back up to have them fix it, they blame us. I remember when I was 5 and couldn’t read basic English. Is it honestly that hard to take a food order. They even have idiot proof numbers for the combos. They’ve forgotten to put the chicken into my CHICKEN and beef combo numerous times. The sushi is sub par at best. Make sure you check your orders before you leave.

One of the few quick bites nearby that I wouldn’t say no to. The staff is friendly, the prices are just right and the portions are amazing. I also turn to this place for the quality of food, is it clean and will get make me feel like crap afterwards? They pile on the salads and the bowls aren’t too greasy or sloppy. During our first visit we had the salmon and the spicy chicken plates and the second time we got a few rolls. I can’t seem to find anything wrong with this place. And I know making rolls is an art and isn’t easy, so major props to the cooks in the back making the magic! For low priced quality meals this place is definitely a steal.
