This is my go to spot for sushi. If I ever eat sushi it’s here.
Whether it’s take-​out or for a special occasion, Sake Sushi is simply the best solution.
Sushi rolls here are always on point. Perfectly cut rolls. Always very tight and immaculate. Sake sushi rolls are never soggy and always delicious, not sloppy.
I’ve been a customer for many years and their food is always consistently delicious and fresh.
Sake Sushi has the best quality ingredients a customer would want a restaurant to put in its food.
The food here is excellent and the service is fantastic!
Your servers are always polite, knowledgable & helpful.
Inside Sake Sushi you will find an amazing atmosphere that is immaculate.
I’m always happy when I finish eating at Sake Sushi.

I was in the area and decided to try this place since it’s in my bookmarks for awhile.
I decided to try the crunch onion albacore and crazy california.
I called for a pick-​up and the server was really nice and friendly.
When I came to pick it up, my sushi was ready.
Both orders are amazing!!!
I will definitely come back to try more sushi!

The food was delicious. Sushi was fresh, especially the white fish. Beef short ribs were yummy, even my daughter who doesn’t like meat ate all of my short ribs. The owners (I assume) and servers are all very friendly, and asked if she could give my daughter m&ms after dinner, which was so sweet. We will be back.

Yum! My boyfriend and I just dropped by tonight for a nice dinner and it was pretty good. Everything came out in a timely manner and the waitresses were sweet and always smiling. They all came around and checked up on us which I though was great. The sushi itself wasn’t anything that I was mind blown by but it was very enjoyable. We got a thing called the shrimp boat for an appetizer and it came with a raw quail yolk on top. We’ll see how that sits in my tummy but for the flavor it was a nice bite. I’ll definitely come back some other time and try out some new things. I did realize that their sashimi was cut a little big and when we got the chirashi (a box with rice on the bottom and a variety of sashimi) it didn’t have two of everything with bummed me out. Some had more and some had less. Overall it was a good dinner. We split the $ 51 dollar check and I mostly just had to pay $ 25 for the appetizer, two roll dishes and the chirashi. Pricing was appropriate, I believe. Wish I was rich so I could order more! Left satisfied and almost full! :)

I came here with my girlfriend tonight to grab a bite to eat. Overall the experience was fun and made her much, much more tolerable than she usually is. I’m completely kidding, just knew she was going to read this review. We ordered an appetizer, two orders of sushi, and a chirashi bowl. The appetizer was fairly small, expected much more food, but it was tasty af. The orders of sushi and bowl were definitely a lot more filling. Best of all, our waitresses kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything

Love this place. Hope this message gets to the owners. Called in for takeout and the person answered had no phone Etiquette. After taking my number she says «what do you want» really !!! After I corrected her she had attitude. Have people answer phones that know how to.

I liked this place a lot even before discovering their $ 1 sushi specials every Monday for the first time recently. Now it’s one of my favorites!
I expected $ 1 sushi to be of small portions and not very good quality. After all how great could it be for that price? To my surprise, the portions of fish were generous and the quality was superb! Their smoked salmon was my favorite. Incredible flavor.
The service is always prompt and friendly every time I have been here. Very respectful staff and owners.
This is always one of our go to sushi spots close to home.

Come on Mondays, BEST $ 1 sushi i’ve ever encountered. Everything else is great too, but this place on Mondays provides the best sushi value ever.

Was by myself and wanting sushi. haven’t been Unilocaling much lately and thought I would see what I could find. I put in «Sake and Sushi Bar» and I found Sake Sushi & Grill.
I arrived at around 7:30pm on a Tuesday night. They were busy but greeted me with a traditional «Irashai». The restaurant was clean, well lit and the acoustics were good (not too noisy!). A waiter came directly to me and asked if I would like a table. I asked to sit at the bar and he found me a seat at the end in front of I.D. Kim.
The waiter immediately asked if I would like anything to drink. I ordered Asahi and hot Sake. They came right out and I was on my way. I poured for I.D. Kim who had already handed me an order sheet. We toasted and I placed my initial order of: A Tuna Cut Roll; Shrimp Sushi and Yellow Tail. Then I asked Mr. Kim to make me a roll omakase (his choice).
It may have been me (I am still getting over a little cold) but the Yellow Tail tasted off just the slightest bit. However, the Shrimp and Tuna Cut Roll were delicious. Then I.D. Kim handed me his Sushi Onion Cut Roll with warm sauce… Exquiste! Really Really Good!
I.D. Kim was talented, warm and friendly. The entire staff was friendly and attentive.
Sometimes it is hard to forget that good food costs a little. It was a spendy night but, well worth it.
Thank you Sake Sushi & Grill. I will be back… with friends :-)

Overall, I had a good experience.
First thing I loved was the Very friendly welcoming to guests who come here for the first time :)
I ordered their Fresh Eel cut roll Togo. It Took about 10 – 15 to make.
This place is the most popular sushi place in placentia. It get very busy here. But not to many people waiting too long.
About the food:
Loved their soy sauce. (Thickly made)
Their rolls were average. But would love to try their other fancy rolls. They have a huge selection of fancy sushi rolls.

This place never disappoints. Tonight, my friend and I grabbed an outdoor table, on the side patio. We happened to be sat at the same time as a party of 11.
Immediately, the staff worked to turn the portable heaters on. They made sure we were comfortable and knew about the group.
Still the service was great. Jae was our server. He was fast, attentive, apologetic (when he didn’t have to be), funny, and worked hard to meet our needs.
I ordered my usual Edamame and Shrimp Crunch Roll. My friend had the Rainbow Roll.
Such a great atmosphere, food quality, and customer service.

This place ROCKS!!!
They’re always busy (which is a good sign-​seems to be lots of regular customers), but the wait is never long at all. Everyone is super friendly and service is fast and courteous. The owner has been in every time we’ve dined here, and she really takes pride in her restaurant and customer service. I see many patrons smiling and chatting with her like old friends do.
And the FOOD!!! Extremely fresh and high-​quality sushi and tasty fusion rolls. My fav roll is the «spicy something wrong» roll. Oh, and the sashimi salad is amazing! Generous amounts of fresh sashimi in a bed of mixed greens with a unique ginger sesame-​like dressing. Yum. And I like to get the mixed tempura, too.
Very clean and warm atmosphere, reasonably priced menu, and most importantly, delicious. Highly recommended!!!

First dine in was great. The owner Jamie was very welcoming and accommodating. She walks around and talks to the customers making sure their well attended. Their servers are all so nice and friendly and their service was fast.
The food was great. The sashimi bowl was $ 15.95 but it was huge and has just the right amount of sashimi cubed pieces. Chicken teriyaki and shrimp crunch roll was likewise great. The highlight for me was the appetizer, grilled kama (salmon neck) with ponzu dip. The serving was huge for $ 7.95 and for an appetizer.
Overall experience was great. 4 stars because we haven’t tried the other food but we will definitely be back despite the distance (10 mi) from where we live.

This place has gone downhill. The initial time I left a review, the sushi was so good but when I went tonight, they sliced the sushi extremely paper thin and the rolls were so small! You would think if the average price of one roll was $ 15, they’d give you $ 15 worth of sushi. The rolls also took forever to come out and the people who sat after we ordered got their rolls before us. The waitresses were really slow tonight as well.
I don’t recommend this place anymore… unless you want slow service and about $ 1 worth of sushi for $ 15.
