D & P Nails

Literally fuck this place. I used to be 100% loyal to this place until now. Long story short they don’t know how to make straight acrylics. she completely messed up my nails. no apology, no refund. I’m never returning. they look beyond bad & tacky

I’ve been coming here for a couple months now and up until now I’ve enjoyed it for the most part. I get my acrylic gel fills here every two weeks. I love the prices because it’s only $ 20 for a fill with gel and $ 30 for a new set with gel.
However I have been experiencing some problems. I think lately they have been unprofessional. I will make an appointment and still wait 30 – 40 min to be seated and then another 10 – 15 to be started on! There are not that many stations as the shop is extremely small. So with that I made sure I had the whole morning or afternoon to be there. From start to finish I would be there between 2 – 3 hours.
The last time I went I noticed something unusual underneath my acrylic. It was a green/​brown spot. I was horrified. When I tried asking what it was my technician brushed me off as if it was nothing. I knew better so I took a picture before she filled my nails. I showed my friend who was with me and her technician told me it was a bacterial infection from water getting underneath the nail. She said it would grow out in no time and that I needed to remove my acrylics next time.
I took mental note, went home with pretty nails and didn’t think twice about it.
Two weeks later my friend removed her acrylics and noticed the same green spots on a few of her nails. She immediately told me and I knew it had to be the shop. I removed my nails to find that two more if my nails we’re green.
I did some research and found that if nail salons do not use BRAND NEW or CLEANED/​DISINFECTED emory boards when filing a new persons nail, they are transferring the bacteria from one person to another. This is where it comes from as well as water getting underneath the acrylic nail and in between your nail bed.
My nails are still under construction as i repair this mess. I’m truly upset because I’ve never had this problem with any other nail shop. I have decided not to return to D&P for this reason.

Ok, place is great! (Don’t judge it by the outside! Looks grungy, but very neat) Staff is very friendly and they did exactly what I wanted to my nails, shape, length, etc! The ONLY reason I can’t give it a 5 star rating is because my first visit here and I got gel on my acrylic nails. Left the place so happy! They looked perfect. Fast forward to about 2 hours later and the gel started peeling off a few nails. :(I’ve never had this happen before. I went back the same day after work and they fixed it, no fuss, no rudeness. Overall I loved everything about it, I just probably won’t do gel again. My pedicure was awesome though, still in tact :) gotta give them the benefit of the doubt. I’ll update my review when I return.

Wow, what a hidden gem in this area. Being a male, it was difficult finding a nail salon that would suit my needs. D & P Nails does just the job at an especially good price. The employees are super friendly. I’ll definitely be back to this place for my routine pedicure.

Wow! I’m so glad I found this place! I’m such a bargain shopper and this is where I’ll be going from now on. Let me show you the ways of saving… I wanted a French tip pedicure. I didn’t do the spa chair and just did the sit at the chair with the vibrating water bucket «spa» Only $ 15! $ 18 if I woulda done the actual spa chair. Then I wanted a gel design on my finger nails. I didn’t do the manicure gel, Just the gel for $ 12! Tina did my gel design I showed her from Pinterest. With the extra designs an gems it was $ 7…so in total I spent $ 34. Nice!

First time going here today. I went to the same nail place for two years but has finally had it with giving them chances. I finally went to this salon and am so happy with everything. The shape and all there gel colors! I’m so excited to go back in two weeks!

I have come here every month for I don’t even know how long. The ladies are nice, the always make sure that you a comfortable. Yes they only have two pedicure chairs but who cares no matter how you get it there they still do an amazing job. I always get full sets or fills and I ask for them to look natural and it always does. They don’t force any sales on you and that’s my fav part. I enjoy this salon very much and I would highly recommend it. Oh the best part it’s very inexpensive fills are $ 10 and I love them!

the one by my house sucks so I wanted to try this place out, she got me a good deal for $ 18 man and pedi. They’re all really nice and really good. Theres competition out there, but by far is the cheapest and worth every buck. There arent cons to this place, they care about you and dont bribe you and force to add other things ontop of what you asked them to do. They did make me wait longer than usual, what would you want– to have done a really good job or rush for the next customer. GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE TO WAIT.

I went here for the 1^st time 3 wks ago. Had a pedicure and manicure w gels. They did an awesome job. My nails still look good and the gels are not even pealing…

Only two pedicure chairs, which I got a tub of barely Luke warm water. It was very rushed. I have been other places that actually took care of you. Will not be coming back

I’ve been coming here for a few years. In all the times I’ve been there I was very pleased with the services. Yes… There are times that they are too busy and I have to come back, but that’s everywhere… My bad for not making an appointment. I consider myself a loyal customer of them. Keep up the good work!

Came here on a whim for mani and pedi with my mom and aunt. Ladies were super sweet, not rushed, and were pretty patient with our requests! Will come back again :)

Came here a couple days ago for a full set and pedi! They did a good job on both! Both ladies took their time and it was only $ 35 for everything!

This place sucks. They kept on changing our appointment times because there were three of us. The lady claimed to be calling someone one else in so we could all be done at the same time. I thought oh that’s nice of her since we didn’t even request that. But that extra person never showed up. Hate being lied to. The spa pedicure was nice an clean ill give them that. But the chick who did my pedicure sucked. I asked her to please clean the cuticles good she just stared at me and smiled. Her massage (if that’s what you want to call it) was the worst ever I think a two year old could have done a better job.
I would not recommend nor go back ever again. If this was the last nail shop ever I would resort to doing my own manis and pedis. A little harsh I know but really the experience was baaaad.
