I went here for a pedicure and was a little bit surprised that they didn’t have the usually massage chair and foot bath hookup that I’m accustomed to. Here, you sit in an arm chair and they bring in a tub to soak your feet. It wasn’t a bad experience, just unusual. I did find it rather pricey — $ 45 for a standard pedicure, but the foot and leg massage was great and my skin felt so soft after.
I’m not sure if I’ll return, but that’s not due to the service at all, just price and not entirely comfortable seating.

I called and spoke to the owner about getting an Ombré done on m my hair and she assured me she knew how to do this coloring. I brought several pictures in as examples and she continued to assure me that she knew what to do. Ombré is a specialized coloring service that many stylists need to take a class to learn how to so. Needless to say, my hair came out absolutely nothing like an ombré. She colored the back half of my hair instead of just the ends like what an ombré calls for. Paid over $ 100 for this. Went back the next day to get my hair dyed back to my natural color. Horrible experience. Wish she would have been honest about not knowing what/​how to do an ombré. I will never return and do not recommend this salon if you are looking for anything beyond a cut or simple color.

being the loyal hair stylist follower that i am… i was skeptical of this place like any person would be when my stylist told me she was now working here. however, i knew i wouldn’t dislike the place because 1. its close proximity to my home 2. its exterior and interior — furnishing, fixtures, the whole sheeeebang.
anyway, one weary day my hair needed a trim. i made the appt, found my stylist here and was so surprised that the renovated barn/​house (?) was so beautiful inside. as soon as you walk in you feel calm. the space is very tranquil! maybe im a little weird and just like old buildings and wood or whatever but this place warmed my heart. i enjoy being inside. picture having your hair done in a nicely renovated farm house, where it doesn’t reek of processing, chemicals, dyes, etc. instead it smelled nicely of what i think was tea tree and peppermint!
it was relaxing, yes. i did wish that my hair was longer so i could get more out of it. maybe when i have some more free time ill do something other than a haircut or color…
but check this place out! it’s super nice.
