I received bids from 4 different companies to install a 12′ commercial door in my business. In an area of my building that houses a taxi company. Ron at rusch garage doors had the best bid so I selected him to perform the work. We had to remove the existing door prior to his arrival. He arrived 6 hours late and upon his arrival, informed me that the door he needed to install would cost 1000.00 more than he quoted because of the space it needed to go in. Ron at rusch doors was very aware that this area of my building had to be secured and knew that once we removed the old door, we would have to proceed with his service. Ron knew that he could walk in the day of installation and charge us an additional 1000 and we would not have a choice. So after all of this, Ron installs the garage door. The very next day, the garage door stopped working. He blamed it on a chair sitting beside the door. Over the last 2 months, this door, a very expensive door supposed to be rated for continous use, has been out of service 7 times. The reason that I am finally writing this review, is that the door stopped working yesterday. After contacting Rons very rude and very incapable operator, I was told that he would be out to get it working… again. Surprise surprise, Ron never showed requiring the building to be left exposed through the night. He and his operator began avoiding our calls. I called this morning from another line and she finally answered. I asked her if he was coming… very simple… and she became very defensive, screaming and yelling, then finally hanging up on me. Obviously we are finding another company to make the repair. You can be your own judge but I can assure you that if you employ this company for any garage door service of any kind, you will be sorry. These guys are a rip off, have zero work ethic, are incapable in their«trade», have a middle school drama queen running the phone, and do not stand behind their work. What else do you need to know? UPDATE I had two other Garage Door companies, come and evaluate the door. Both companies informed me that the residential motor installed on the garage door is not designed to handle that large a door. additionally the motor should not be mounted where it is mounted. Ron at rush garage doors installed a residential motor on a commercial door. I have given Ron an opportunity to rectify this situation, if this post is not updated again you may assume he is not interested in doing so.
