I am a contractor and have used Origins Granite 4 different times with no problems. They have beautiful seams, and this was a great selling point for me. Unfortunately this last time I went there it all changed. My sales associate was Ashley, although it could be hard to reach her at times, she always returned my calls. After she informed me that the slab that my client had chosen had cracked in two, and was unusable. She said she would send me different slabs to choose from. I hadn’t heard from her for a couple of weeks, so I popped in to check in and see if she had a couple of different slabs to choose from. I found out that she had gone on vacation and not come back. I hope she is okay, but unfortunately the customer service went with Ashley. I instead got Bob Stoffer he said he would find some slabs from purchasing and send them to me. Again weeks went by, with no response. I called and left messages, no response, finally got a call back, I was informed that I no longer can choose the slab, only the color, and they no longer offer slab pricing, and the price had changed. So the price had gone from 3800.00 to 4662.00. Then after complaining about the price he dropped it to 4300.00. After not getting a call back from Bob, I called a different store, and tried to get a new sales associate. Enter Richard Rose from another store. Now the price 5600.00 I complained again and was informed that the company would honor the 4300.00 but for one day only. Furthermore if I wanted the price Ashley gave me I should have bought it months ago. Sorry but I’m not buying something sight unseen, and I still can’t pick the slab. So that day, I went to Troy Granite, was treated like gold, got the same slab color I wanted. All options but sink was the same, and that was upgraded to a 16 gauge sink for 70.00. with a total price of 3079.00 as great as the seams are at Origins, it’s not worth that difference. All in all, save time and money, go to Troy Granite instead.
