Muddy Cup

Although the staff is very friendly, I would say this place is just ok, nothing to rave about. Prices are a bit high for the quality. There is very limited seating and it feels crammed and a bit claustrophobic at times.

I just moved to Bellevue, and Muddy Cup is just a short walk from my new house.
The coffee: I always have delicious coffee while there. I’ve tried the regular coffee– hot & iced, as well as their specialty drinks. Prices are pretty comparable to Starbucks; so, don’t come here thinking you’re getting a cheep cup of joe.
The food: They have a variety of baked goods including bagels, coffee cakes, and muffins. The Good L’Oven Cookie Shop is also attached to Muddy Cup (yum!).
The atmosphere: You’ll be in close quarters here; so, I wouldn’t plan to work from here if you can’t block out people talking. However, it’s definitely quieter than your average Starbucks that’s blaring music.
Today was my first so-​so experience; not because of the coffee or food, but the customer service. Barista was on the phone when she took my order (and the man’s in front of me), took my money, and for the entire time I wrote this review! You never know when there’s an emergency in someone’s life though; so, I try not to judge.
All in all, I definitely recommend trying Muddy Cup out!

I really like the new location. Friendly staff and good espresso! I love the cookie shop that is attached!
