Requested appointments online. Never received a call or email to confirm. It’s been about 5 days. Based on the other reviews I’m not even going to waste my time here. Just going to go somewhere else. Don’t offer online options if it’s not going to be followed up on.

I booked a 60 minute massage and was surprised to only receive a 50 minute massage. When I asked about it, I was told it was for my convenience. They allow 5 minutes up front to undress and 5 minutes at the end to dress. Um… that’s not for my convenience. That’s so you can squeeze in more appointments. If it’s a 50 minute massage, don’t advertise as a 60 minute one, and adjust the price accordingly. I strongly recommend Evolve Massage and Wellness in Scott. They actually massage you for the full 60 minutes! And their therapists are all top-notch!

I am beside myself with anger and disappointment. This story is a little lengthy but necessary. My medical center gave me a gift for a FREE, one hour massage, which I gifted to my young daughter who was excited and in desperate need of a good back massage. She called to make an app’t, in advance and gave the gift card number and all the information before going… When she finished with her back massage, she tipped the therapist $ 10 and proceeded to check out where she turned over the gift card… The cashier told her she owed an additional $ 11 because it really wasn’t free and she owed the additional money anyhow. My daughter added another $ 10 tip on her charge card for fear that the $ 10 cash she gave the therapist might not be enough now and paid another $ 11 that she was told she owed, even though there was nothing stated anywhere that there was any additional charges and in fact, clearly stated this was for a 1 hour FREE massage. What should I do? She ended up paying $ 31 for a FREE gift.

I am very disappointed in this Massage Envy. My first appointment went well despite waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time, and I rebooked with the same massage therapist for two weeks later. I received a phone call the day before to confirm, and I agreed to the time and date. I showed up for my appointment today, and it had been moved to another time and then subsequently cancelled, with no record of the cancellation method or which employee processed the cancellation. I live 45 minutes from Robinson and just wasted an hour and a half of my very little free time during the week. The receptionist made no effort to remedy the situation — there were no available slots tonight, but all I got was an apology, no offer for a discount on my next massage or anything similar. I will not be returning.

This is one of 3 Massage Envy locations I’ve been to with regularity. I pay the monthly membership fee and this particular location is near the Pittsburgh Int Airport so I use it a lot. It’s very similar to all other Massage Evnys in the services they provide. I don’t see one particular therapist, but I can’t complain about the service in anyway. The location is convenient and I don’t have any trouble getting an appointment. I can’t complain especially since I never have issues transferring my services here(it’s not my primary location).

While this is a new, clean, and convenient business, I was not very happy with my service. I entered and was bombarded by very nice young women pushing the subscription membership even before I told them what I wanted. I set up a massage for myself and a foot sugar scrub for my mother. First mistake was that they actually do not offer a sugar scrub without a massage. We weren’t told about this until afterwards when they wanted us to pay. The second mistake was that it should be clearer that a massage is 50 minutes, not 60. We arrived 15 minutes early and filled out a ton of paperwork as we waited in the lobby. We waited. When someone finally came to get us, we were starting late. I was not aware that I would be docked time. My massage was about 35 – 40 minutes. My mother was scrubbed raw with a painful sugar scrub that lasted about 10 minutes. People who have more skill would have known to have a lighter touch with older skin… and would have listened to the customer. We complained, were reprimanded by the manager, telling us that we were late.(so not true) Long story short, they did give us a refund. Thanks for that. The other issues I had was that they were extremely pushy about tipping. I tip well, but was not happy to be reminded so many times_everywhere signs, reminders, it made me a little angry especially since the service was so poor. What it says to me is that the company does not pay their employees well enough and schedules them so tight that they are required to push people thru and need the tips. The massage itself was not memorable. I don’t plan to return.

This spa is great! The customer service and atmosphere is warm and caring. The LMT’s are wonderful too, haven’t had a bad massage yet. I will not be leaving any time soon.

This is a review in progress… just bought the 6 month membership and will be going in every month. I can tell you that the spa is clean and comforting as a spa should be. During my massage, my technician tried to make me as warm as possible but we couldn’t avoid the ac air that was blowing directly underneath me. The massage in itself was just ok… I bought the membership hoping to find the right technician for me. The overall feel was just ok.
