D’Michelles Victorian Inn

D’Michelles is a wonderful place! I have traveled quite a bit, and I can say with every confidence that you will be hard pressed to find such a beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located Inn elsewhere. I stayed for a post-​Christmas trip through the New Year. I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff, and was made to feel right at home for the duration of the stay. The Inn is located just down the street from a few good eateries, including a charming little diner just across the street. You are just minutes from the Steelers stadium, and a 10 – 15 minute walk from some great museums, like the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum, the Carnegie Science Center and the Andy Warhol Museum. I spent a whole day just walking around the area and visiting the sites, and I was able to see a lot on foot! The parking situation isn’t terrible, and I appreciated all of the conveniences. One day I also walked all the way to downtown, which wasn’t a terribly long distance from the Inn, and I enjoyed a beautiful view while I walked across the bridge! Thank you Denise (the innkeeper) and her companion Sammy the cat for having such a wonderful place open for out of town visitors.
