Diamond In the Ruff

I have been to many groomers over the years. Pet Smart, Pet Co, private ones big and small. I have to say the ladies at Diamond in the Ruff are amazing! Not only do my dogs come out clean and perfectly cut… they are HAPPY! They are not upset and very beside themselves like they always were at other grooming places. They treat them very well! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

When you walk in they have a display of dog collars and shirts that you don’t see everywhere but merchandise isn’t why you’re here, you’re here for the people and your pet.
Privately owned with younger girls, they treat your pet like their own pet. I have a Shi-​Tzu who likes who he likes and dislikes who he dislikes and I can confidently say my dog likes them. We told them they might need a muzzle to get his cut but when we went to pick him up they said none of that was needed and he was great! That alone shows me they know how to handle a dog. I wanted him to have a Orange Mohawk and give him a little edge and they did it perfect. He got his nails cut, ears cleaned, hair cut, bath, shampoo and conditioned with the Mohawk and a tip for 75 $. It lasted through the summer months and he smelled great for weeks!
I would stay away from any chain groomer and go to this small perfect place for pet maintenance. Me and my dog approve.

We took our 5 month old Yorkie there for grooming. They did a wonderful terrific fantastic job. He looks great. Well worth the money. Very professional.

Great place! We have been taking our dog (Barry, yorkie) there for two years and have always been pleased with their grooming! They take their time and are always friendly when dropping off/​picking up. They also send out cards reminding you to schedule appts as well. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend! I took my havanese, Tucker, to Diamond in the Ruff today for the first time. They did an absolutely excellent job on him. They followed my instructions perfectly and he looks SO good! He also (amazingly) seemed very happy and relaxed when I picked him up. Will be scheduling regular appointments.

The best and friendliest groomers I have found in PGH. My Lhasa Apso has been going there for 4 years now. They do a perfect job every time. I use to live in the SouthSide and now live about 20 minutes away and still take her there. We wont go anywhere else!

We brought our 5 year old Cocker Spaniel to Diamond In The Ruff and Christy did the VERY BEST GROOM on her that anyone has ever done since we have had him. We could not believe how HANDSOME he looked and could not wait to take him for a walk and show him off. He must have felt the same way… for he walked like a complete «gentleman» which is not the norm for him. He usually walks so fast I cannot keep up with him :) Thanks to Diamond In The Ruff we now have a NEW GROOMER and are very very happy!

I used to live in the South Side and we took our dog (a Papillon) here, even now that we live further away I try to make an appt. with them. We checked out so many pet groomers in the Pittsburgh area and no one compares to Diamond in the Ruff.

Friendly staff who pay attention to detail. Wish they offered specials to their loyal customers. Very difficult to get a same day or next day appointment.
