This may still be a coffee chain, but it’s a local chain. The baristas at every location are very friendly and helpful. You can’t beat the pastries they have!

Here’s the crazy thing about Crazy Mocha… No two mocha’s are made the same! Literally and physically! I frequent the one in the Cultural District, but I much prefer this one. One time I stood in the middle of Market Square, started to walk to Starbucks and then abruptly turned around and headed the opposite direction to Crazy Mocha. It was like the devil was on my shoulder saying«go we’re you’re comfortable… To Starbucks» and the angel was saying«go to Crazy Mocha and support local businesses.» I went with the angel. The one barista I’ve only ever seen here is super friendly, which I enjoy. The baristas in the CD seem to be ever rotating and ever bitter. I’m not a huge fan of their coffees, but I enjoy that they have a wide tea selection and great Italian Soda’s. This store is pretty quiet, with people from PPG slowly trickling in to order and sliding back out. There’s a pretty large area to work from inside the building. Plenty of seats and areas to charge your computer/phone. So if you ever have that angel vs devil situation… Choose the angel, I beg of you!

Nice coffee shop chain owned by Pittsburgh locals. I like going here when I am in the mood for a flavored latte. They usually have a unique assortment of flavors.
