A LivingSocial deal is what made me a Comprehensive Labor Solutions customer. The deal was great on its own, but after an additional LivingSocial promotional savings I ended up getting 2 hours of moving services (with 2 movers) for just $ 64, tip not included. After working our butts off packing everything up in San Diego, my husband and I looked forward to doing a lot less physical labor on the other end of our move, in Pittsburgh in frigid February!
A.K. Vance, with whom I spoke on the phone on several occasions before and after purchasing the LivingSocial deal, was incredible – professional, knowledgeable, kind voice. He answered all my questions more than adequately and made me feel comfortable with my purchase by assuring me there was a good chance the company/​movers would work with us should any unforeseen issues or timeline changes arise, just so long as we alerted them to any changes ASAP. (Basically, I got the impression that CLS’s 24-​hour cancellation policy is more flexible than the fine print implies.) Thank you very much for your superior customer service, Mr. Vance.
I wish the movers had been more proactive, more intuitive. The pair of guys who were our hired labor were nice enough, respectful enough, and strong enough, but they relied heavily on our directions when moving the more challenging pieces of furniture. Just over half of the 2-​hour job was spent trying to get the largest piece of our sectional sofa into the elevator, out of the elevator, and into the apartment. When the movers appeared defeated and out of options early on during the couch battle my husband stepped in to offer his suggestions and after little progress had one of the movers stand aside so that he could attempt some techniques himself. Frankly, I was surprised how quickly the movers seemed to give up and how much sweat my guy ended up having to put into the job in order to exhaust all options. After the couch sustained some damage and it seemed the couch could not possibly make the angle required to get it through the door, I made the executive decision to discard the couch. Bummer, but a decision I can live with.
I would possibly hire Comprehensive Labor Solutions again for future moving needs; however, I’d hope and expect to see more proactively on the part of the movers. Also, a nice bonus would be if CLS could implement some kind of complimentary removal or donate service for pieces of furniture they are unable to move.

Found this company on Angie’s List with an «A» rating, and they did not disappoint! This was a complicated, four stop move with A LOT of stuff! The team was JC, Robert, and Moe. All three were gentlemen, friendly, and very hard working. They called prior to arriving with the ETA, and when they got to my home they got right to work and worked SOLID for 9 hours. They were very careful with our fragile items, removing the glass and wrapping them for transport. They packed the truck like a jigsaw puzzle so everything fit — and we had A LOT of furniture! Where they broke items down, they put them back together — some of the furniture we had for years and didn’t even know it came apart! These guys are total moving experts! They were true professionals in every way, but also personable and friendly. They made a difficult and stressful day a pleasant experience. I absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs to move, and will definitely be calling them again!
