Reading the other reviews, I am not surprised. It seems to be a couple or few older ladies doing this as a hobby. I’ve requested to see several apartments. Often, I don’t get a call back, until I leave a few messages. Even then – it takes days to see places. Places have been rented before I could even see them. They have no sense of urgency or care for their jobs.

This house has been a nightmare since day one. I wouldn’t return here or deal with CA properties again if they let me stay here for free.
The maintenance man came in without a notice. He said CA properties said «just go in anyway don’t listen to the man living there, he won’t do anything». They will lose your check, say you didn’t pay it and then cash it a month later. They won’t return calls. I’ve lived here a year and they refuse to give me a copy of my lease. Wires are exposed and nothing works. The house is falling apart and they don’t seem to care.
Slum lords through and through who don’t care about you or the house you live in. They are cheap because they are trying to trick you into living there for a year. It isn’t worth ever staying at a house they rent.

I would give this company negative stars if I could! They are HORRIBLE at calling you back. When we signed the lease, we were promised new screens to replaced the broken ones in the house and that they’d fix the windows that wouldn’t stay open. Also they said they were going to redo the roof since it was falling apart. We even gave them the name and number of a contractor friend that was offering to give a discounted price. Never happened.
Our pipes are so old that they backed up and leaked down into the kitchen so it looked like it was raining! This happened multiples times. Our neighbors said every single tenant before us had the same issue and they never fixed them! We went almost 48 hours without a response when they were leaking! Our property manager was upset when the emergency line rang her late at night because we couldn’t shower or use the toilet! And on top of ALL of that, They charged us for the pipes! They found a whole toilet paper roll in there (and not the cardboard part. The thing you PUT the roll on) and claimed it was clogged because we flushed baby wipes! They charged me 257 dollars for it which I refused to pay and continued to explain time and time again how the pipes are old and it would be happening no matter who lived there!
The only thing I ever did wrong in this house was paid my rent late when I hit a tight spot financially but I paid back all of the late fees.
I got a renewal for the lease in the mail that said «if this paper is not returned by May 1^st, we will assume you are ending the lease» and when I went to turn my key in, my property manager acted like I did something wrong by following the paper! Don’t include that on the paper if you don’t mean it! They only ever return 1 in 5 phone calls you make to them anyway.
I got the bill in the mail for the 257 dollars, WHICH I PAID IMMEDIATELY. They cashed my check and now 7 MONTHS LATER I got a letter in the mail from a collection agency saying I still owe 257 dollars! This company is the WORST company I have ever dealt with in my life and I don’t understand how they’re even still in business!
Whatever you do, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!

A Full Service JOKE! Slum Lords is more like it. I wouldn’t have anyone sign a lease with these people. They never return calls, or emails. Takes them months if not longer to fix things. My window, took over a year to be repaired. My shower rod was fixed by using an old phone cord. The man who «fixes» everything is a complete SLOB! Never cleans up anything and ruins what is around. Hence my bathroom towels. He threw them in my garbage like I wouldn’t see them! They have emailed me numerous times asking why I haven’t paid my rent, meanwhile they never cashed the check that was sent and when I told them they did in fact have the check, Their response was «Oh.», Nothing else! They’ve taken weeks to cash my rent, its been a nightmare. So glad I only have a few weeks left.
PLEASE save yourself the frustration, and DO NOT use these SLUM LORDS.

Do not use this company. I have used them as a property manager since November 2010. A tenant was put into the house almost immediately which was great. That’s where it ends. I have not received one penny of rent. No phone calls are ever returned. They don’t look after the owner. My property mgr was out sick and no one stepped in to work on the property in her absence. I am currently looking for a new mgr and when I do, they’re out. I can’t imagine a more unprofessional company.
